I highly recommend Tri Valley Optometry. 4 generations on our family have been going to them beginning with my grandparents back in the 50’s. Our family tradition continues because we get more than 5 star quality service from both Dr. Volponi’s!
When I moved out of state for awhile and had to go to another optometrist, I couldn’t believe how I was «herded» in & out and left without feeling that they had even checked my eyes at all!
Even though I now live in Fremont, it’s worth the extra time & gas for my family to see both Dr. Volponi’s. Over the years he has helped my diabetic parents avoid permanent vision problems because he was thorough in examining them, monitoring their condition and even took photos of their eyes and explained his findings in a way they understood and wrote letters to their physicians.
My son thinks Dr. Jim is the greatest! After talking about their shared interests in sports, Dr. Jim prescribed some sports vision exercises and along with contacts, my son swears that Dr. Jim helped him not only to see better, but play better too!
I am now at the age where I thought I would never get to– I couldn’t read the newspaper! I now proudly wear my reading glasses not only to read, but also for using my computer. I also got my first pair of progressives– an updated version of the bifocals to see both for reading and for distance and I absolutely love them!
