Woof Waggin Mobile Dog Spa

Nikki did a wonderful job. My boys sometimes have problems with grooming, especially around their faces. I’ve had groomers in the past tell me that they couldn’t do it. Nikki didn’t let that stop her. She did a great job with my dogs and was able to properly groom them. I will definitely continue using her service.

We’ve called 3 times just to get info and book an appointment and haven’t received any type of call back. I get you’re busy but geez. Frustrating

This was our first visit and Nikki arrived on time. She came in and sat in the floor and got acquainted with all three dogs. She took the most difficult dog first who doesn’t like his feet messed with. An hour later, he came prancing in and was such a good boy! He really likes her which said it all to me. Dog 2, is a spoiled whiny puppy but he let her do everything needed and dog 3 is getting groomed right now. I would definatly use them again!

We always have a good experience with the folks at Woof Waggin’. First off, Nikki has been on time to every appointment I’ve made with her. My little Bichon Boomer hates being groomed, but he’s so happy to see Nikki he jumps all over her! She does a great job grooming him and keeps him happy with treats and her upbeat personality. Nikki and Alberto also groomed my standard poodle Stella recently and they did a fantastic job! So, to reiterate, the folks at Woof Waggin’ are reliable, they’re competent groomers, and they are kind to the animals. They’re great!

Great experience with Nikki and Woof Wagon.
Nikki arrived on time for my ten month Goldendoodle’s (Cosmo) grooming. She immediately tried to connect with Cosmo — gave him treats and played with him which made him feel comfortable. Prior to this Cosmo had some bad experiences with non-​mobile grooming salons, cuts behind his ears and long waits at the salons, so I wanted to try a mobile groomer. Nikki was fine with me coming into her vehicle so that Cosmo would be relaxed having his dad there. During the grooming she constantly talked with him and tried to make him feel good. He has wavy hair that gets tangled and removing the tangles was difficult for all of us, but she made it as painless as possible. Nikki wasn’t concerned about how long the grooming would take, she just wanted the best result. We were about 3.5 hours overall, from start to finish. It may sound like a lot, but Cosmo is a big boy and had many tangles. Nikki gave me suggestions to prevent tangles in the future. By the end of the grooming, Cosmo was really ready to get out. But Nikki wanted to be sure that everything was done properly. When it was over, Cosmo looked sensational and was not at all traumatized as he’d been at the prior salons. Nikki was great and I give her my highest rating. Excellent!

Unfortunately, before even being able to review their work, i’m already a detractor and here is why:
let me tell you about my experience with this business:
Contacted the business through Unilocal,and got a comment back from Nikki asking for more information about my dog. Provided everything in the email and left my phone number and asked for a call back.
Two days goes by, nothing.
Sent an email back again to Nikki again with information requested.
Nothing
Few more days —
Called the business and left voicemail with above information and letting them know that this is attempt number 3+ to contact them, and just need a call back to get me pricing info and availability.
Nothing
Called again a few days later left again above information …
Nothing.
At this point — well it’s pointless
looks like this business does not need new customers, so just giving you a fair warning as what i’ve seen and experienced.

There must be a good explanation on why a prospect customer is ignored for over a week + ?

Updated review — they have paid for Mozart’s vet bill — so I do appreciate and have given another star.
I was torn about whether to write this review or not but despite Nikki and her husband being animal lovers, having great customer service skills and being nice people, they still caused my puppy’s first grooming experience to be a horror — resulting in a trip to the vet with a $ 600 final bill.
At first there was confusion over what a «puppy cut» actually meant. Because of this, after the service I called them to say the puppy’s hair was not cut properly.
They were very nice to come over at almost 6pm to recut his hair to my liking. In discussing what the cut should be, I told a story about how my previous dog had been scarred for life by a groomer nicking her ear. I said I would rather them go longer or get as close as possible while keeping his ears safe. She explained to me how her technique would cut her hand before the dogs ears — to which I said all right and let them take him back to their grooming truck.
After about 15 minutes, they come back and say they’re done but they’ve nicked his ear. They didn’t seem very alarmed and was dark and they mentioned I should get him used to holding his paws and face for his next grooming. I asked them if he needed to go to the vet from the cut and they both said «no, no it’s fine» I couldn’t really see, so assumed it must be very small — I actually tried to tip them a few extra bucks for making the trouble of coming back out. They refused and turn quickly to leave — It was quite dark on my porch.
As soon as I got inside in the light I saw his gaping wound, his ear was cut clean through (halfway off his head) and had a chunk of flesh in his hair. It was shocking and horrifying got my daughter to see her 4 month old puppy like that. After hours at the vet, sedation, antibiotics and 8 stitches we are back at home.
I don’t mean Nikki or husband any malice as I know this was a mistake but it is a big mistake and people looking to groom their loved animals should know what has happened.

NIkki and Alberto get five stars as far as my pup and I are concerned! I stumbled onto Woof Waggin’ as a result of one of my neighbors booking an appointment and boy am I glad I did. Nikki is so kind and loving toward all the dogs and is always ready with healthy treat and an ear rub. I love the fact that my dog (a 10lb Yorkie/​Schnauzer mix) was done in around 2 hours and the spa was parked right in front of my house! The pup is usually a little stressed after a grooming appointment, but after Woof Waggin’ was done with her she looked and smelled great in addition to being completely at ease. After being spoiled by Woof Waggin’ I will never drop off my dog at an overcrowded groomer to sit in a kennel all day while they try to groom as many dogs as possible. I also want to add I paid the same amount as I was paying at the afore mentioned overbooked groomer, and this was SO much more convenient for me and my pup. Give them a try and enjoyed having curbside grooming at your finger tips!

Nikki and Alberto are A+, Great job and so caring to my 13 yr old Golden. Since she can’t make the trip to a groomer anymore, Nikki was great and showed up early. It helps that her unit does not require a hose and electrical hook up especially in an apt setting. My dog got a bath, smells wonderful, coat trimmed, pants shortened, ears cleaned, teeth brushed, nails trimmed and looks and feels perfect. Thank you Nikki and Alberto.

Having a rescue dog who is VERY nervous with groomers, I decided to give a mobile service a try. I contacted Woof Waggin’ Mobile Dog Spa via email, received a prompt response, and was able to secure a reservation for the following evening. Alberto, the groomer, was running about 30 minutes late due to commute traffic, but he did call me to let me know, which I appreciated. When he arrived, my dog was extremely nervous but he was very patient and did not rush her into the mobile unit. Instead, we sat outside together for several minutes and then he took her for a short walk, despite her reluctance. Upon returning, he still was extremely skittish and he suggested that we reschedule, but I asked if I could carry her into the van myself and put her on the grooming table. From experience with other groomers, I’ve been told that once she’s on the table, she calms down and cooperates. He agreed to try this and, sure enough, he was able to complete her grooming. The entire process took about 2 hours. I did request that he trim her face, head & ears a bit more, which he was very happy to do. I then asked to have her tail trimmed a bit (he said that they customarily don’t trim tails), but again, he was happy to do it and said that he wanted to make sure that I was happy & satisfied with the service. When he finished, she looked great and I was very pleased with the overall experience. The price I paid was the price that I was quoted on the phone. It was about $ 10 more than I’m used to paying, but having them come to my home was very convenient. I think it was also less stressful for my dog, which was worth it to me. I will definitely use them again!
*The only negative was that when I initially took my dog into the mobile unit, it did not look like it had been cleaned thoroughly from the previous grooming.

Our poodle escaped from the yard on the ranch and came back full of burrs
all over his fur. Nikki came out at 5:45 pm and worked on Pickles for over 1.5
hours! She bathed him first and then shaved him. He came out neat, clean,
and handsome. I was desperate to get the burrs off of him, and she came to the
rescue after normal work hours! This is true dedication and she is truly a
professional groomer. I highly recommend her for your pet grooming needs!

Nikie does good work. However, after grooming my dog for months she disappeared. Never called to say she wasn’t coming. Just stood us up! Never returned our calls. No idea there was a problems.

My review is for nail clipping only. My dogs were not groomed by her.
Nikki showed up early for a quick nail clip and file. She was very nice and seems to like animals. However, one screamed as she got close to the pad because the nail was a little curled, but she warned us that it might pinch. No bleeding or clipping the quick but upon inspection later, it was very pink and way too short, according to the next groomer I had to take them to because other nails were way too long still! Maybe that is why the one screamed so loudly; she got too close to the quick :(
The other dog, she kept pulling her leg out at a weird angle while she chatted with me, looking at me, not paying as much attention to the dog. I kept wanting to tell her not to talk to me, but focus on the dogs’ nails, but it felt rude. I was so torn because I didn’t want her to hurt them either, but I shut up and gave her the benefit of the doubt for the moment.
It was also dark and her rock music too loud to be peaceful while my dogs were stressing about clipping.
There was fur all over the floor and it still smelled of wet dogs.
Sorry, I just can’t do that to my dogs again. One strike is all you get with living creatures.

Niki is a delight and wonderful with our 4 four legged children. She has been grooming our pups for over a year and we cherish her excellent service and TLC with our beautiful dogs. Niki always outfits the dogs in darling bows and cute scarf’s and each one of them prances around after a Woof Wagon Mobile Dog Spa Day.
I highly recommend Niki and Woof Wagon. Niki is great at her craft, has fine instinct and insight with animals, and the prices are reasonable for the services rendered. Call way ahead she is popular and almost always booked ²⁴⁄₇. We book months in advance for regular appointments. Bow Wow for Now.

This service did NOT show up at all! I waited 2 hours and even called them after they were already late 30 min.
Terrible! Now I can’t even find a decent groomer in time for this Sunday! WTF!!!

We recently rescued a dog, who was horrible looking, poor thing had matted hair and her hair was so darn long it looked like it hurt her. We called around to see prices for dog grooming, we have a chihuhaha and shes short hair so the grooming on her is really easy, however we needed major renovation on this other little one. We called her she told me what she does during a session and about how much it would cost. I got really good vibes and feedback from just talking to her over the phone, when it finally came to get our dog groomed her and husband showed up in front of our house, on time huge plus, and ready to get going. She talked to us about what was going to go on and I never felt more comfortable to let our dog go to a stranger’s arms. About an hour and a half later our dog came out looking like a totally new dog!!! She doesn’t look like the dog we rescued, shes so beautiful :) We will keep on using Woof Waggin and will def. recommend her to anyone that needs their pooch to get groomed!
