California Window Tinting

Wanted to get my windows tinted on my new car, called to make an appointment, got an answering machine, left information, didn’t hear back for a couple of days, called again same thing. Ended up going somewhere else

So this is my experience with this company. I recently bought a new car and wanted the windows tinted. I did my research and called around and this place was by far the cheapest and I figured I would give them a try. I called on a Saturday and he stated he could not get me in until Monday morning at 9. I told him that was fine and to book it because I work graveyard and would come as soon as I get off work.
Monday came and I slowed up at 9 all to find a closed shop with nobody there. Needless to say I was a little pissed I looked at the hours and it said they opened at 10am so I figured maybe he gave me the wrong time I’ll wait till 10. I waited until 10 am and again nobody showed up or called. I was extremely pissed at this point because I wasted my morning and gas to sit and wait for this place to open based on an appointment they scheduled.
On my way home I called and left an unfriendly message on their answering machine. To my surprise I did receive a follow up phone call from someone the following day apologizing for dropping the ball. He said he had a family emergency and forgot about my appointment. He offered to do the windows at half price which I thought was a nice gesture considering the situation. By this time I had already went elsewhere and declined his offer.
I guess in conclusion he tried to make the situation right so I commend him for that. In the future I’ll sick with more reputable companies and a shop that has more than one employee so I don’t get forgotten.
