History

Established in 1979.

Formerly Spitzer’s Carpet Cleaning, Sak’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning was founded by owners David Sasaki and Gilbert Rodriguez. Wanting to take carpet, upholstery, and tile & grout cleaning to the next level, we developed a new system using the best equipment and chemicals available on the market today. We continue to develop on the good reputation that Spitzer’s Carpet Cleaning had while taking steps forward to providing the best customer service possible.

I am the former owner of Sak’s Home Furnishings and Yourspace Home Furnishings in Lodi, California. Running this family business for over 30 years, I have firmly established myself in the Lodi community, and understand how to give true customer service. Not only is Sak’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning a certified member of the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification), but I myself have taken the necessary training courses to also be certified as a trained cleaning technician of the IICRC. It has truly become my passion to provide the best cleaning service possible to all those who have trusted their faith in me.

This is long overdue… I called Sak’s and was moving into a very filthy house with nasty carpets. I had a small window of time with no furniture and Dave went out of his way to make it work — and he worked hard to clean the carpets and did a great job! After it was all done, his price was the best in the area hands down! Sak’s gets my highest recommendation!

Dave and Gilbert were recommended to us by a contractor that was doing work for us in our home. We needed the carpets cleaned in the entire house which we had recently purchased and had been setting vacant for over two years. We received several quotes from other cleaners including COIT. Dave and Gilbert were ½ the price of COIT for cleaning and scotch guarding the carpets. We decided, because of the recommendation of our contractor to go with Sak’s. We are very satisfied with their work and I would recommend them to anyone. Beside being great guys to just talk to, they are hard working and very organized. I was impressed by how neat and clean they keep all of their equipment. We have white carpets, which made it more of a challenge, but they did an excellent job cleaning the carpets. Especially along the edges where dirt collects from your HVAC system. I will definitely use them again.

After buying a new home, I hired Sak’s to clean the carpets and a sofa. They were professional, courteous and did a great job. They came for a free estimate and I wanted them to start soon so it’d be done before moving and they were very accommodating.

Wowzers! David and Gilbert really are fabric rejuvenators!!! They serviced an e-​x-​t-​e-​n-​s-​i-​v-​e amount of upholstery and carpet within our 2000+ sq/​ft Multicultural Center and after two days left it so fresh and so SO clean. Despite my deep skepticism (I tried to clean our upholstery myself with lots of other cleaning products), they effectively removed 7 years of dirt, dust, and spills on our heavy student traffic sofas, chairs, and carpet. Even the very few permanent stains (poster ink spills) that remain look better than ever. We look forward to bringing back Sak’s back to our Multicultural Center for regular maintenance.
