Tokay Heating and Air Conditioning

This company is horrible. I called them for a repair for a rental property and they cancelled on me 3 times, then when I had called and talked to the owner to try and get it expedited so my tenants weren’t without AC in 100 degree weather, he said he had bigger jobs that held more importance! I couldn’t believe that. When they did go look at the unit, I was given a very high estimate for supposed «work that needed to be done». This estimate was about $ 600! Luckily I listened to my dad and I got a second opinion with Derek sawyer and they did a short tune up with their inspection (no additional charges) AC worked wonderful! And it’s been over a year now. That «work tokay AC claimed I needed was bogus and they were even mentioning I may need a new unit!
On top of that they also charged my credit card for $ 75 even though they didn’t do anything … I never had time to contest this though and honestly I was just glad I got the second opinion cause I’d rather pay $ 75 any day then have them charge me $ 600 plus for something that wasn’t needed.

Really impressed with Tokay. AC went out in 107 degree heat yesterday. They were able to fit me in for service within 3 hours when I was getting 3 day ETAs from other companies. Jared the technician was very nice, honest, and did not try and upsell me on a new system. Had me back up and running in about 10 min. He did explain purchasing options and I will likely be calling them to purchase a new system later this month. I highly recommend.

I first called and spoke to a lady who advised I could get a repair appt the same day and I was happy. 5 mins later a guy calls me and asks me what is wrong with my A/​C. Hmmm I don’t know, that’s why I’m calling you for your services. He then says he will change my appt for later that day and I agreed. I waited during the time frame he advised and guess what– A NO SHOW! Not even a call.
Don’t waste your time with this unprofessional company as there are many other repairman in the area.

This is the BEST Heating & Air Conditioning business in Lodi. We have had nothing but trouble with Heating & Air techs until we found Jarrod from Tokay Heating & Air. Called this business in a panic as our air conditioner was vandalized at our business and was inoperable. Ron the owner sent Jarrod out within a few hours of my call and we were up and running the very next morning with a new Lennox unit; all without any interruption in business. I was so impressed with the efficiency, sense of urgency, professionalism and value that we received. I am a consumer who appreciates great customer service– Tokay Heating & Air could not have provided any better customer service~ this is truly the Nordstrom of Heating & Air businesses!

wow finally an honest heating and air company go figure but its true, cant thank you guys enough for the great honest service and advice.

I just had Tokay Heating & Air out to work on my HVAC system. The service technician, John called me prior to arriving and was extremely polite. When he approached the door, he put on booties to keep from possibly staining our carpets. We had great service and would recommend them to anyone. John was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get the system up and running.

My A/​C went out and they took my call after hours and had a technician there at 9:15. What was also helpful was they called me 20 minutes in advance so I could leave work and meet them there (instead of taking the whole morning off).
Turns out my compressor is getting old and the capacitor burned out. They charged $ 75 for the visit and $ 145 for the capacitor. The one thing I didn’t really like was they tried to sell me a hard start (which I read is a good suggestion for an aging AC unit), but they wanted $ 145 for it. I checked online and was able to get the exact same thing for $ 13 delivered! And it takes all of 5 minutes to install.

A few weeks ago our A/​C went out. Stopped working completely! This happened on a Sunday night of all times. During the summer. A HOT summer!
I called Tokay H&AC Monday morning to see when the soonest they could come out and check the unit.
They sent someone out later that day and was able to fix it right there & then thanks to carrying the part on their vehicle rather than having to order it.
I was very impressed with the repairman, his professionalism and courtesy.
I highly recommend them to anyone. Tokay also has a monthly plan that’s very reasonably priced for ongoing preventative maintenance.
