Stopped in tonight and absolutely loved it! My husband got the 8oz filet with mashed potatoes and I got sirloin pasta with mushrooms. The filet was cooked perfect and mashed potatoes were homemade and melt in your mouth. My husband helped me finish off the sirloin pasta and he’s not much of a pasta guy so it had to be that good. I will suggest this to all my friends and will go back!

This place has amazing food! BUT the service here is ok. Not the best. The bartenders avoid eye contact and almost have no social schools. I did the restaurant industry and the more friendly and sociable you are the better tip you receive so like I said food is amazing service needs to tighten up a bit

First time eating at this spot and I’m glad I did because this place absolutely has one of, if not the BEST steaks I have ever had the pleasure of stuffing into my word hole!!! Atmosphere was nice, a confusing mix of Irish pub and steak house but nice and inviting none the less. Service was good, nothing special but it wasn’t busy and they were indeed attentive. The food however was AMAZING!!! When they say it’s pure Black Angus beef they mean it! I ordered the 10oz New York strip medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, had the most delicious flavor and char! Every bite was better than the next, even the fat which can normally be chewy on even better cuts of meat was so soft it melted before you could even chew the meat. A true testament to the quality of the meat. The mashed potatoes were equally as good and the portion left nothing to be desired as they were piled high and had a heaping helping of delicious Irish style gravy. The vegetable medily was no slouch either, coming with broccoli, peppers, beans and squash as well as plenty of garlic and seasoning. Bonus is on Tuesday nights it’s buy one get one free NY Strip!!! Two steaks, four sides and four rolls all for only $ 21.95!!! Thanks to all the Unilocalers for the reviews that led me to this hidden gem!!! Can’t wait to return this Tuesday, my only question is do I take someone with me for the free steak or eat it all myself?

We absolutely LOVE their food. After seeking a place in Loganville with good homemade fare(Not Chinese mystery meat or frozen sides), we found this wonderful pub. The food is delicious and hearty portions are served. The french fries are all done from scratch, the cottage pie(shepherd’s pie) is heavenly and so large I had to take half of it home. My father loves thee ½ Ruben Sandwich which is almost toppling over with a generous serving of corn beef. They have a Tuesday special with a NY strip steak is buy Bogo. It was mouthwatering goodness! We go there twice a week now. It is a couple bucks more than a burger drive through but the meat is identifiable, it is not a chain, things are made from scratch, the atmosphere is quaint yet kinda comfortable-classy-pub. This is our very favorite place to go. My only complaint is during the day, when people aren’t there to party, they may find music that is more appealing to a lunch crowd. And turn the volume down a little. Ya gotta try this place, it is a treasured find. We went again today, Dec. 1st2015 We just went again today. My father had the steak(with no salt, they do cook it a little too salty for his taste) which he loved. I had the blue cheese burger with apple wood bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a fresh toasted bun with a mound of fresh made-on-site french fries. My husband had the banger burger with sausage and onion ring with a cheddar sauce a top a hefty burger. The burgers were handcrafted patties that were plump and juicy. And none of us could finish our meals. They serve hearty portions. The bartender greeted us as we walked in and it was busy but he took the time to acknowledge us. Our waiter, Caleb, was attentive and helpful. He is a very affable guy and kept our ice tea drinks full. Again, we were pleased with their service and their food. Anyone who had an experience less than ours, I wish you had experienced what we do each time we go. It is very pleasant and tasty. That is the pub we love.

The have one of the most flavorful, tender steaks that I have ever tasted. I haven’t tried any other selections as I am absolutely stuck on the steak

This little place surprised us. The Ruben roll was great. My husband ordered the special osso buco and it was fantastic. They definitely didn’t skimp on the portions, so We both had enough. I had the fish, and it was tasty. In traditional Irish fashion, nothing we had was light. We will likely return. Hopefully not too soon or I will need bigger pants.

What a find thank you fellow Unilocalers, we happened to be in loganville and I checked my mobile Unilocal to find a place to eat came across Irish Red and could not pass it up, Thank goodness we did not, this place is all around GREAT!!! Bangers and mash is awsome. I ordered a burger and it was cooked perfect and was out og this world good. I prefer the onion rings over the fries. The best was their Red’s sauce I think I could eat that stuff on almost anything. I am looking forward to returning very soon. Almost forgot, The service was great as well, friendly and prompt.

For any company, especially restaurants, a name is super important. It didn’t take long for the people at Irish Red Grill & Steakhouse to realize in conservative Loganville that a name that included the word«Pub» in it, placed their restaurant swimming against the tide. So, when we saw the sign that read«Now Open» we translated that to «Yes, we got smart and rebranded». I was totally into the Irish ambience although somewhat distracted by Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica and some of the other alternative music that was playing. Melanie and I both agreed that if they played some Celtic tunes in here we would both have been swept away and begun chanting«Erin go Bragh». We decided to go with our joint Irish heritage, okay a lot more on Melanie’s side than mine, and order something traditional. I chose the Bangers and Mash while Melanie selected the Cottage Pie which is very similar to a traditional Shepherd’s Pie but using ground beef instead of lamb. As negatively as we had thought this was going to go, the only bad thing that happened was when Melanie unwrapped her silverware and found the cutlery was filthy. Our server apologized profusely and echoed what was already going through our minds«how could anyone roll that silverware without noticing that?». It’s rather dark in there so perhaps this is a task better performed in more sufficient lighting. In any case, the problem was rectified and our appetizer was soon to arrive. The bacon wrapped shrimp was quite tasty! At McCormick’s & Schmick’s, they also wrap pepper jack cheese in it as well and it comes off very nicely. If you haven’t tried this at home, it’s really a bit of a challenge because you need to pre-cook the bacon because of the short time required for the shrimp. I normally bake it, but at Irish Red, they fried it and it came out just a little crunchy and it was really delicious. Not the cheapest appetizer you can get, but very, very good. Our meals arrived just after we’d finished with our salads and confirmed our final thoughts. This was a restaurant that serves booze rather than a bar that serves food. They had been doing themselves a disservice all along by calling themselves a «Pub & Grill». Kudos to the rebranding! My Bangers and Mash said it was«Guinness braised» and you can really taste it strongly in the meat. A little too strong for me, but I’m not a Guinness man myself so I’m going to abstain from that decision altogether. The sausages were just a tad bit charred and overdone but very borderline and I could go either way on it. I’m also not a big fan of caramelized onions, but in this case they pulled it off quite well and they were really delicious with the potatoes. Melanie could not stop raving about the Cottage Pie. I finished my meal but she could only come close to finishing half of hers and the rest went home in a box. Very ample portion sizes here folks so you will not leave hungry. When in Southeast Gwinnett near Loganville, Irish Red Grill & Steakhouse serves up some top-notch traditional Irish meals and I’m betting the steak is no slouch either. We’re betting that their name change is going to spell rapid success for this restaurant. Guten appetit!

Amazing find for Loganville. 20 or more craft beers on tap and food is way more than typical bar fare. Service was great, very quick. Fish and chips was outstanding. Vegetables like peas and creamed spinach were tops. Take the family or stop by for a pint.

Pleasantly surprised by food choices and prices. Service with a smile. From lite fare to steaks and desserts, choices for all. I don’t drink but huge variety on tap and in cooler.

We ate at Irish Red’s Pub last night; my wife, four kids, and me. It was almost unreasonably good. Seriously, all of us said it was the best food we’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten all over the world. Also, the portions were huge. The couple at the table next to us got a sandwich that was so big I had to ask what it was. It was the Cod sandwich and it was the size of half a soccer ball. We had the Cottage Pie(extraordinary), Lamb Burger(amazing), Fish and Chips(delicious), Harp and Cheddar soup(OMG), Smothered Pork Loin(exceptional), House Salad with real Bleu Cheese dressing, Cod kid’s meal, and a Corn Dog meal(she’s 5). Everything was superb. After the first bite, each of us said, «Oh my God, try a bite of THIS.» Even the fries were the best we’ve ever had(and I don’t usually like french fries). My wife said, «I guess we found a new regular place to eat.» And, «Why would anyone ever eat at someplace like Applebee’s when for the same price you can eat here?» Also, the beer selection was fantastic, the waitresses were all super nice, even though it was Friday and busy we got seated right away, the prices were reasonable, it was kid friendly(they even had crayons), and the whole place seemed nice and clean and stylish and well run. We can’t wait to go back.

Pros: Food is fantastic. Had the pork with mashed potatoes, caramelized onions, and au gratin broccoli/cauliflower. Our service was excellent. Cons: need some better lighting above the tables and seating is a bit tight for large parties. Will definitely be back though because the food is so good! Most food(dinner entrees) around $ 10 – 15 each. But they have soup, appetizers, burgers, etc too.

4 of us stopped here on a Saturday late afternoon. Seated at a Table– atmosphere was great — great music choices playing in the background — I had a Ginger beer & brown sugar whiskey — called an «Irish Maiden» very tasty — and how cool is that name?! We all ordered different dishes — not a disappointment in the bunch! The Reuben was super juicy and good — I had Irish stew — only complaint was a little heavy handed with the salt. My 13 yr old got“bangers n Mash” loved it, we will be back!

Recently moved to the area and looking for restaurants, and Unilocal pushed us to this beauty. Authentic atmosphere with RIDICULOUSLY good food. I have this thing that I do where I tell the waitress to order whatever she thinks is best(without being too spicy, as I’m a wimp)… and frequently am surprised by what I receive. Some of my all-time favorite dishes have been found this way — and last night’s dinner was no different. What I received was«Bangers and Mash»(which I admit, was one of 7 or 8 dishes on the menu that looked REALLY good). Fantastic is all I can say. Seasoned potatoes with an onion-based gravy complimented the sausages, all with a side of cabbage. The only problem that I had was that after eating this(very filling) fare I had no choice but to order the bread pudding… and my gawd am I glad I did. My wife and I both ordered it — which was a mistake — as the portion was easily enough for 2. In fact, I’d be surprised if it didn’t take a half a loaf of bread to make the damned thing. Very friendly waitress(thanks Kerry) and the best food I’ve had in months. In addition, the prices were very reasonable(two dinners, one top-shelf margarita, two deserts for $ 50)… could not recommend this place more. GOTHEREWHENYOU’REHUNGRY.

Hoping for better consistency. The first meal we had from them was awesome — the prime rib panini and the fish and chips. Both prepared really well. But the three times since then that we’ve grubbed here have been mediocre, though the husband digs the wings. The French dip came with super soggy bread and tough, less-than-fresh meat at our most recent take-out order. The friendly staff and cool vibe have kept us coming back so far. And the wings, like I said, save it for my husband. Hoping the kinks get worked out soon.

Once again our family ate here at Irish Red’s and the food was amazing. I tried the Lamb Burger(:. I am a very happy guy. A true hand made burger party, seasoned and cooked medium to perfection. Yes I did say Seasoned, too many places don’t add seasonings to their meat. The bun was fresh and the grilled green beans with onions topped it off. It is now time for a nap :)

This place had a really nice atmosphere. Light irish music playing, soccer and various other sports on each tv, and some really cool decorations. We started with the chips and gravy which were amazing! My friend got the banger sammie and really enjoyed it. He says his Guinness tasted watered down. My finace had the ruben which was really great. I would have wanted a little more sauerkraut, but he loved it. The mashed potatoes with gravy were fantastic too. I had the cottage pie and it was more delicious than you could imagine. I would have wanted more of the filling and a little less potatoes, but I would have it again in a heart beat. Long story short… we will be back soon! The whole menu sounds amazing. The desserts that were coming out to other tables looks outrageous, they were huge! Only down one star because the server didn’t know what it meant to have Jameson«neat» and I can’t give partial stars.
