A Perfect Game! Had a group outing from work here last week. I called a couple weeks in advance to set up the details and pick the food menu. The staff was friendly and helpful all along. The night of the event, the staff was extremely pleasant and took great care of our group of 14 bowlers, eaters, and drinkers without a problem. The servers kept our plates and drinks full. I chose an assortment of finger foods and sliders for our event… all excellent, fresh, and tasty. The atmosphere inside is fun and with three bowling lanes all to ourselves, we really felt like VIP. There are a lot of TV’s so you can keep an eye on your favorite team. I would not hesitate in arranging another outing at Lucky Strike Lombard.

My company had rented the entire place for the Friday night. This included drink tickets we paid for as a company as well. All the employees seemed to be enjoying themselves however the service was okay. One person who I believe is named Jason with long hair was flat out rude. I ordered a round of 4 beers for 4 people including myself while we were playing pool. Jason and what looked like another manager came over to me and asked why I have 4 beers on the table. I explained it’s for this group. He then asked me again as if he was insinuating I was lying. I explain its for out group. He the walks away saying I’m going to keep an eye on you guys. Jason is the reason why I would not go back or have the company use this place again. We were not happy with the service and I would not recommend coming here for any party event.

The place has a great atmosphere. However, the service was terrible. There was no waitress working the lanes, the person who bought the food did not supply utensils or condiments. I was told that«it wasn’t his job»(people still say that???) when we requested. Still enjoyed a couple of games bowling. The experience was not worth the costs. I will not return to this location.

The company I work for had a team event here. It was reasonably priced for the number of lanes and time we had reserved. Groovy tunes, very friendly services and overall good experience!

I was disappointed in Lucky Strike because I expected it to be state of the art, and it isn’t. Service was fine, but the scoreboard is hard to read, the seating area is uncomfortable and crowded, and the blower for drying your hand was not working. I’m not impressed and will not go back.

Horrible service – made to feel unwanted. Menu seems decent until you receive the disappointing food. Way overpriced and underwhelming. Hey Lucky Strike – learn the art of great service and exceeding expectations and you may pull this off.

I never posted an update, After posting my original Unilocal review the GM contacted me and gave me a 10 person party for me and my friends. We went back and had a much more pleasant experience. I appreciate that they cared about their customers and that I had a bad experience. I have not been back since(This is over 2 years ago) but they deserve a 4 star rating for reaching out to me and making things right.

Good food and atmosphere but the bar tending service is hands down the worst I’ve ever encountered. 14 people at the bar and the girl focused solely on one group of five. It took 19 minutes to get an order in and another five for her to pour the beer.

This place strikes a whole different level of sucky. Came here relatively early on a Saturday night and had the worst service! No one acknowledged our presence, it took half an hour to get a beer from the servers who are supposed to serve the lanes. She kept disappearing for ever! After our two hours of lane reservations were over they just canceled our game… I mean I get that we have 2 hours but it kind of sucked of them to cancel it right in the middle of a game. So we moved from the lanes to the bar area. Where again no one came to ask us if we want a drink or if everything was ok. The food here is over priced, and so are he drinks. It tasted good don’t get me wrong, but $ 11 for tiny little quesadillas or a flat bread?! Give me a break. Total rip off price wise and awful service.

Service at the check in desk was real nice. There was a wait for a lane to bowl so I played pool in the meantime. L The waitress by the pool hall was terrible pretty much most of the drinks were out of stock according to her which didn’t make sense for a Saturday night. Bowling experience was alright the food here is pretty good. I gave it 3 out of 5 because for one it’s pricey and and the service was either really good or horrible depending at which end. I would recommended going here for a date I will be back.

Walkin-ins are NOT welcome at this joint. There were several open lanes when we walked in, but we were told the wait is 30 minutes. We waited over an hour before leaving to do something else. Another place that makes you wait to get you to spend money at the bar… skip it. $ 125 for two games… they should call this place… STRIKEOUT!

First of all looks nice when you walk in. Nice looking for a Romantic setting because with the lowered lighting mood setting. I didn’t care for the bowling area couches where to low the tables are tibia bone hitters. Yikes If on a budget and like to drink no deals there. It’s in a Mall too. There are large red ball lights that are in the way to seeing the game score So called dress code there as well. I seen someone that did not use the bowling shoes and someone with a rip in there pants. Had to sign a contract for a two hour rental with all kinds of rules that other people didn’t have to follow. Nice for them huh? Good going wow. Not all that.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at lucky strike in lombard! ! I hosted a surprise party for my husband there. The staff was super friendly and the managers Mike and Rina were a pleasure to work with. Although we started off with a bit of miscommunication, they were quick to correct all the details. The manager was very accommodating to our group and our server was on top of everyone’s drink orders. It was a perfect place to have the party. we played pool, and they had the Hawks game on as well as a basketball game. Everyone had a really great time!

went bowlin with 4 other people & enjoyed ourselves. we ordered a few apps that were ok & sum drinks that were not that strong but we still enjoyed ourselves bowlin. i love the huge couches to the back of the main seats but it was hard to move around our little area with that many people. they were playing some good music tho so i appreciate that! its a really nice place with a great ambience but i just wish they would fix the seating area right by the bowlin area cuz its too cramped.

Okay, I’d love to review this place on their food… but we never got served. We waited… and then we waited a little bit more… and then we kept waiting. For twenty minutes… to receive a menu, or even just a look that said«hey we’ll help you in a minute.» But we got neither. So, we left. No one said bye, no one said anything to us… the entire time we were there after we got seated. It was probably 3 pm on a weekday… it wasn’t busy, but there was a work party there, but… we ALSO wanted to spend our money there, they just didn’t want our money… so we left. I hate leaving hungry, but hey, I was able to get food that was delicious at rock bottom and actual service there as well. I won’t try to come back here, having been seated and then waiting for twenty minutes to not be acknowledged is really pathetic in my book.

Came here on a week night for a team event. We called to make a reservation just in case, the woman was helpful and nice. However, once we got there and it was completely empty we felt a little duped– we could have avoided the pre-ordered 3 option food and ordered when we go there. They did break out separate checks which is nice. BUT, I ordered Makers on the rocks and when the bill came there was a charge for the bourbon and $ 3 «Ice Call»… $ 3/per drink for ICE? Thanks but no thanks. Fun place, but very spendy.

Brought the family here for a fun night of bowling. We got there early and the place was almost empty. The place is more adult centered, we were able to get a ramp for the kids to bowl. We ordered fries and a flatbread cheese pizza, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both. The beer list was pretty bad(lots of standard domestics and not a single ipa to be found). Service was really good. 2 games for 2 kids was pricey(~$ 42) but they had a good time and that’s all that matters.

I liked it, the chicken nachos were delicious and over priced and yummy. you get enough to share with another person. I cant complain about this place, I will be back soon to practice my bowling because even though I won the game out of my group, Im sure a 89 is not that great of a score. Don’t laugh too hard

You know what’s rude? When you’re standing at the bar, very patiently waiting for the waitress to acknowledge you anad realizing that she is tending to three other people(who arrived AFTER you) before you. To make matters worse, when we asked if we could order a drink, this waitress very meanly responded to my bf, «Yeah, can you HOLD on a minute?» She even held up her hand to his face. Oh, no, honey. Do NOT put your hand in MY bf’s face when he was waiting for you to merely acknowledge us. Believe me, I was ready to leap behind that bar. I don’t know her name, but she was one those stereotypical snobby, b*tchy Asian(probably Filipino) girls who thinks she’s hot sh*t and too good to deal with people. Luckily, when my bf mentioned it to the manager, Kyle, he apologized and bought us drinks to rectify the situation. So that was nice. Anyway, we were there for 2 hours and the waitress we had was nice and attentive. Beware, however, that they automatically add 20% gratituty on your bill.(I must’ve missed that disclaimer on the menu…) Drinks and food were reasonably priced($ 7 whiskey/ginger and $ 9 whiskey neat). The venue is really nice with lots of tv’s, comfy seating, great music and very nice lanes. Great place to bowl or just hang out and watch your favorite sports game.
