Out-U-Go!

Out-​U-​Go Downer’s Grove is LIFE SAVING. We travel quite a bit and Amanda, Angela and team have always done a fantastic job of taking care of my two dogs and home while we are away. This week we were both traveling and Jessica noticed our dog Max behaving strangely. He wasn’t acting sick, but he wasn’t himself. She contacted me immediately and we made the decision to take him to the emergency clinic. It was determined he had Bloat and emergency surgery was necessary. Had Jessica ignored his symptoms or decided to wait until the next day, it is probable he would have passed. Thank you thank you thank you to Out-​U-​Go Downers Grove and Jessica for making sure my fur babies are always well taken care of. You have my business and my gratitude… always!

We recently used Out-​U-​Go when we had to go out of town for the night. Amanda came over to meet me & was so sweet and professional! I felt secure leaving our dog Chloe in her team’s hands, even though we’d just met. Highly recommend her & will be using them in the future.
And I loved the report card we got on how the visit went; so cute!

We got married October 3, 2015 and needed someone to help drive our dog around for pictures (venue doesn’t allow dogs but allowed him to be there for pictures). We contacted Out U Go seeing if they could help us out and they said sure! Amanda came over to meet us a few weeks beforehand and after meeting her, I knew my dog, Axle, would be in great hands. The day of the wedding, Amanda arrived with Axle in his tux on time and ready to help. Axle has extreme separation anxiety and when he sees us, he goes crazy but Amanda was able to keep him under control. She truly helped our wedding day be less stressful and helped it be more special by having our whole «family» there. Thank you SO much Amanda!!!

I have been using Out U Go for awhile now, and found it the very best experience! I have 3 dogs and a cat, and need house sitting for my critters while I am away on vacations. Amanda and her staff are wonderful, and take excellent care of my babies. The cost is reasonable and my gang loves whoever stays with them. I highly recommend this service as I get a report card on the whole time I was gone, and even some of the girls will send me photos of my darlngs when they can! 5 paws up for Out U go!

We have been using Out U Go for about a year and a half and we couldn’t be happier. Amanda and the staff are so accommodating. Our lab, Chloe can be a little bit of a handful and the dog walkers are great with her. They are very attentive and we know Chloe is in great hands! We consistently have someone come almost every day of the week and it is usually the same 2 – 3 walkers. They leave a report card and let us know of there are any issues.

Have been using Out-​U-​Go for cat-​sitting since Christmas 2013 and am completely satisfied with their services. The fur-​kids don’t really need much beyond feeding and litter-​scooping, but they are always much calmer when I come home after the sitter’s visit than when I’ve not used the service, so I know that they’ve been petted and chatted with to their satisfaction. I so appreciate the cute note that is left detailing the visit and anything they may have noticed that should be passed along. I also appreciate that my request for a call to let me know they’d been there is respected because like any pet mom, I worry about them when away. This is a great, dependable service and I am very happy to have found them on Unilocal

Terrific business! I loved the little updates while I was gone as well as the notes left behind. My cat was well cared for and I was at ease on vacation. Highly recommended.

We have used Out-​U-​Go for almost 3 years for our two crazy terriers. Amanda (owner) is awesome. They are always on time, always leave wonderful reports of thier time with the dogs. Most importantly, they have never said ‘no’ when we put in a last minute request for a visit, and are very flexible with schedule changes. We are so grateful we found this great group of dog lovers– we trust them implicitly to provide great care!

Janine stayed overnight at our house, caring for our 3 dogs while we away. One of our dogs had recently had knee surgery and couldn’t walk up/​down stairs, etc. She took great care of our fur babies, even carrying the 40+ pound «patient» outside, as needed. We would definitely use Out-​U-​Go again. I was pleased with the service they provided.

I have been very pleased with Out-​U-​Go. I moved here from the West Coast last year and find myself scrambling to find someone to take care of my kitties every time I go back home to visit family. Last year I bounced from person to person, trying to find a balance between cost and someone who I could trust with my cats– because they are 100% my babies! After having sitters who would not respond to me while I was out of town and/​or returning to find that the litter box was never cleaned or my cat’s or their area a mess (as if straight up nobody came) I started to get increasingly frustrated. I finally found OutUGo and I don’t think I need to keep looking anymore. While they are a little more expensive than some options, this is a case where you get what you pay for.
The owner, Amanda, is VERY accessible. She always responds to my texts, calls, or emails very promptly. After having other cat sitters who wouldn’t get back to me for days, I can’t say how much I appreciate this. I have been provided updates while I am out of town on how my kitties are doing and what the sitter does with them. And when I come home, there are detailed notes documenting what was done each day. If you are someone who worries a lot about your pets while out of town (like I do), I can say that OutUGo put me at ease more than any other sitter I’d hired. Lastly, OutUGo operates with more professionalism than any other pet sitters or companies I’ve interacted with. And like I said, I used a few different ones last year, and interviewed many others.

Have to agree with all the positive reviews I’ve seen so far — being new to the area, I rely on Unilocal a great deal and have been thrilled with my decision to entrust my dog with Out U Go — I continue to be impressed with their services and staff!
They take the time for an in-​home visit to meet your dog and learn how best they can help care for them. My dog adores her dog-​walker, Florentina, and the report card left each day after her walk is so fun to read and reassures me my she was in good hands.
Would absolutely recommend this business to anyone in the area — they are flexible, accommodating and responsive. The best!

I can’t say enough about the team at Out-​U-​Go! Amanda and her team (special props to Jeanine) come in every day to take care of «the kids», as well as handle overnights from time to time. They were incredibly supportive and professional during the illness, and subsequent passing of one of my dogs. I give them credit for the ease of Molly’s last few months. They are reliable and trustworthy… but even more importantly, all the team members love animals. The overall well-​being of my animals (now 1 dog and 2 cats) has dramatically improved since Out-​U-​Go became part of our daily routine.

We had a wonderful experience with Out U Go! Our elderly dog is no longer able to travel with us so this was our first pet sitting experience. After meeting with Amanda, any anxiety was put to rest. They are quick to respond and make scheduling so easy. Our dog walker left detailed reports and even left an Easter egg filled with treats for our dog! We will definitely be using them again.

everyone at out-​u-​go has been fantastic. what i love is the reliablity of our dog walker. amanda the manager is really great about getting back to you with any questions you might have. the rates are quite reasonable and the «report cards» keep you informed about how the visit went. i’m very happy we found this service.

We are absolutely thrilled with the level of service we have received from Out-​U-​Go! We recently relocated to the suburbs and were apprehensive about finding new care for our dog after having used the same walker in the city for the last 3 years. Our worries were unfounded now that Out-​U-​Go has been taking care of our precious pup. They are totally dependable and have never missed a walk (this was a problem several times with our city walker), leave adorable «report cards» each day about what our dog did on that walk, and are responsive to e-​mails. It is clear that they truly love dogs, and I feel completely comfortable leaving my little ‘baby’ in their capable hands.
