Very good location with plenty of parking and the seating inside is much bigger than most potbellys. I come here with my kids usually and have a good experience with ordering and customer service. They do a great job with their shakes and no complaints in the sandwich making department.

I’ve been to this location dozens of times, and never had an experience that was less than great. The workers are polite and never got my order wrong. They are also pretty fast, so the line doesn’t get long either. The quality of the food is on par with all the other Potbellys I’ve been to(which also means their oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are sooo good!)

Clean, fast and speedy sandwiches. I have been coming to this location for over 4 years and the service is always great. The meatball loaded with extra peppers is my favorite. Plenty of seating and outdoor seating for the summer. Place is close to yorktown mall and in a busy area but parking is never an issue.

In general I am a fan of Potbelly. It is a great product. However, it is a very inconsistent product. I order the same thing every time. Depending on who makes it, it could be good or not as good. One person may put more mayo, another may put more hot peppers. Other then that the atmosphere is good and the people are friendly. The cookies are some of the best!

Love this place. Great prices and even better food. Tried the meatball sub this time and it was fantastic. Came out hot and very flavorful.

First time here. Never saw any cars in parking lot and wondered if they were any good. Realized during visit they are primarily takeout. Employee was super friendly and helpful for us first timers. I had a flat bread sandwich and soup. Delicious. Dined in. Noticed place was very clean. Spotless floor. Service was consistently friendly with all customers.

I recently heard about the potbelly secret menu but this was only after my most recent visit. So I know I’ll be back. Everytime I go to a Potbelly’s, I feel like their lines could be more efficient. There is just something about the way that it’s set up that just doesn’t seem to flow. Overall this one is pretty nice. There is ample seating and it’s pretty clean. I feel like they try to hide the fountain machine hoping you’ll get a soda from the fridge but doesn’t matter anymore cause my next drink is gonna be one of the secret drinks. While I was there during lunch, a girl was doing her thing on piano and guitar. I’ll be honest, she was so good I thought it was some indie cover on the radio. I pulled out my phone and tried to shazam who it was. Then I realized it was someone singing live, so that was cool.

Let’s note that this was supposed to be a delivery after lunch hour rush with a confirmed delivery between 1:45−2pm. I will start by saying that I am an avid Potbelly fan. I probably go there 3 – 4 times a month and constantly touting how great the sandwiches are to all of my co-workers and friends so, when I saw that potbelly finally got on the«delivery» bandwagon I was ecstatic! Today was the day when I could have really used the delivery, it is a Friday and my workload was a bit too heavy to get into my car and drive to pick up lunch and fight for a parking space. So, I decided to place an order with Potbelly online. Mind you, I work in Lombard, IL and the one shopping center with all the restaurants includes three sandwich shops: 1. Potbelly 2. Jimmy Johns and 3. Jersey Mikes. By far, Potbelly blows the others out of the water on quality food. Jimmy Johns on the other hand has good food, great customer service and extremely fast delivery — no matter what. The only reason why I have been ordering from Jimmy Johns was because they delivered! So, I placed my order online after coaxing people in my office to make the $ 25 minimum. Everything went through, I got a delivery confirmation email and agreed to the 1:45−2pm delivery window. I stepped away from desk for 10 – 15 minutes to find a voicemail from the Potbelly manager stating that«unfortunately all of our delivery orders are booked and we are unable to to deliver your order, please call me back and tell me what you would like to do». I was a little taken a back, considering I just got my confirmation. So I called back and I said did I miss something on the website that states when I should be ordering? and the manager proceeded to tell me…“well, it doesn’t say anything, but it just seems that most customers place their orders 3 days to two weeks prior so it gives us lead time” And I said«well that’s silly, I will come pick it up this time, but I will never order from you again.» When I arrived the place was empty, meaning no one in line even ordering a sandwich, and when I announced my arrival, the manager approaches with a t-shirt that says«Potbelly Delivers». Really? I didn’t get a «we apologize for the inconvenience» or «thank you for deciding to still fill the order, here’s a free cookie»…nothing. She avoided me like the plague except when she asked for my signature and told me they took off the delivery charge — geez thanks. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. There is no way in heck that I will attempt delivery again and when in a bind, I will go straight to your competitor — Jimmy Johns. I hate being like that, but all it took was an apology and I would have been fine. I work with supply chain professionals, and I am one of the first to stand up for process and customer service — and it only takes one bad apple and your reputation is over, but I consider myself a pretty fair person. The reason why I am writing this is because I believe that potbelly is the best sandwich shop in the nation, hands down and I think you could use to improve on your delivery process. Whether it was truly a lack of staff, system malfunction or they were super busy — all she had to do was say so. However in this case, they weren’t busy and had 5 staff behind the counter. But I would totally understand. Just know that Jimmy Johns has you beat in this respect, perhaps you can get the lowdown on why they are so successful in this department. You could put them out of business if you got it down-trust me. Thanks for reading.

On most days the food here tastes like garbage. Today I had the french onion soup… Yuck! It was some brown crap with a bunch of disgusting mushy croutons stuffed in it. Barf! The tuna sandwich is a joke. $ 9 for a drop of puke soup and some meager portion of canned tuna on some day old bread. HA! See you later Potbelly; I’m over this place!

This is the closest Potbelly to my home, always been a go to lunch spot. I got a free little sample of Red Hot thanks to their promo on the new buffalo chicken sandwich. it was good! They keep the place very clean and are quick. Great location if you’re able to get off the highway for a 20 minute lunch off of either 355 or 88.

1. food is always reliably good 2. big location, plenty of space 3. cheaper than subway, better quality, and more options Been here twice for pick-up/carry-out orders, the sandwiches are always warm and as good as ever. But there is one bad thing: their carry-out process is tedious and clumsy. Both times that we picked up orders, the cashier seems to always have a problem with finding the order and ringing it up. After the first visit I decided to pay for my food online to speed up the process, that didn’t help. For some reason they still had to touch a bunch of buttons on the screen and the cashier had to get assistance to complete our pick-up order. It wasn’t an incredibly long wait, but it was a little annoying, especially when you are in a rush trying to get back to the office during lunch.

Well, let me start this off by saying I totally LOVED my Chickpea Veggie Salad that I had here for lunch. I was raving about it during lunch and how I would order it over and over again. Too bad it didn’t stay in my tummy for too long. I’m pretty sick right now as my body continues to try to get whatever was in the salad that didn’t agree with me out of my system. And it sucks. Vomiting yesterday after eating it and today woke up with the tail end of a migraine(with aura/numbness) plus continued vomiting. Overall, not a good first impression Potbelly. Shame on you for poisoning me with your devil vegetables. Side Note: Isn’t it crazy that you can have migraines while you’re sleeping? I wonder how many migraines I’ve had in my sleep and haven’t even known about it? The human body man, the human body. But really, the salad was yummy. That’s why I’m giving them 2 stars. Maybe I sound delusional. Maybe I am delusional(you know, with the migraine and all). Yeah, I’m probably delusional and doped up on meds. But I think i’ll replicate this recipe on my own sometime when i can guarantee the freshness of the ingredients.

When I worked downtown, I would go to Potbelly’s once a week for lunch. I loved the place! I knew there was a Potbelly’s near my house, but never actually went. One Friday, I decided I needed to get me a smoked ham sammich. The food was as good as I remember, so I cannot complain on that count. The help, however, sucked. For people that don’t know how to order at a Potbelly’s, there is a process to placing your order. They weren’t explaining this, and they were just staring at the confused customers while the line continued to build. It was absolutely ridiculous, and I was losing patience quickly. How hard is it to greet people and explain the process? Seriously. Many people have commented on the crazy parking and entrance situation. It’s a pain to get in and out. I do like the food, so I will probably be back when I get a taste for a good sandwich.

I sat outside solo with a Turkey sandwich and Ice Cream Soda while listening to Pandora on my headphones. It was a nice and sunny day today! The bread was a little hard but gosh, I love potbelly’s. It beats Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mike subs which are in the same location but they don’t have outside seating either. Plus, Potbelly’s is easier on your wallet! Will definitely return again!

I have been to many Potbelly’s before in the city and in the suburbs, I guess Friday is when people who never have been decide to go and the help doesn’t want to seem to assist these people. Now I love me some Potbelly’s, but I think the training some of these employees should go through is putting them in a downtown location to see what it takes to earn a buck or two. I will go back to this place since its the only one near work, but I must say it will be not during the busy lunch hour or a half hour after that. Additionally, the location of this place is terrible, give this place a proper location along with easy entry and exit, this place would compete with the city locations.

This is a chain so you know what to expect, but nothing prepared me for the lunch hour queue that went out the door. This is a hard to get to location(whomever came up with this entire shopping area’s design needs a reality check, w/only one entrance driveway???). They’re friendly, fast, organized, and frenzied. Yum?!
