I had to have an ear tube done today. Surgery is never easy. The staff was so cheery and friendly it really helped make me feel more comfortable. The packed waiting room seemed a tad small for my hubby, two kids and stroller who had to wait on the premises until my surgery was over. But, they had plenty of snacks and a stocked fridge with cold drinks for everyone to help themselves. In the pre-​op room the nurse made sure I was comfortable and well informed on what was happening. I even got to watch some TV while I waited. The anesthesiologist was very reassuring to speak with, walking me through everything that was about to happen and assuring me he would be with me in the room the whole time. The doctor then came in and answered any of my remaining questions. Then a nurse came in with high energy getting ready to wheel me into the operating room. The last thing I remember was him singing to a song on the radio in the background and another nurse telling me he was serenading me. lol. Friendly, cheery, professional and informative staff. Everything you could hope for before going in for surgery. I had a great experience here. Thank you.

Took my sister here for a procedure. Was very happy with the staff and service, they give you those light-​up pagers that you get in a restaurant to let you know when they’re out of surgery, which was nice. However, she ended up getting sick in the car on the way home and what I discovered was there was no phone number listed for the facility to call in case of problems. I am not from the western suburbs and called a bunch of numbers trying to locate someone to tell me if I should be concerned. So was not too pleased with this, which I still find hard to believe.

My husband had his cataract removed here today and everything went very, very well. We were asked to be there at 11:00am for a noon procedure. We arrived by 10:30am. We were on our way home by 12:40pm. I was expecting a much longer wait. I thought the waiting room and patient rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Yes, the get well card signed by all the employees I had contact with was a nice touch. I still stand by my statement that I would have liked some conveniences and some privacy.
