I have been getting massages for over a decade.
I can honestly say I have never experienced a «massage» quite like this.
The only reason I called this place was because it had a 4.5 rating on Unilocal when I did a search on my phone app. And when I called a man fluent in English answered the phone and made my appointment.
It wasn’t until I returned back to the hotel that I did more research and there were only two reviews. I knew better.
I am not going to go into a lot of detail but six things that really bothered me:
1. The lady who greeted me and became my masseuse did not speak English very well. Several times during the pre-​massage questions she said, «I don’t understand.»
2. I called and made an appointment for 7:30; though I was placed in a room I was not seen until 7:50.
3. The massage table had a flannel children’s sheet on it with a cartoon pattern
4. Only one towel was used to cover myself; typically massage places make the table like a bed and they lift the layered sheets only to expose the areas they are massages so the remainder of your body stayed relaxed and warm. With only a rough brown bath towel covering my lower torso I was uncomfortable throughout most of the massage.
5. I requested the Swedish massage. What I received was not a massage but more a series of rubbing. I have never experienced that before. It was awkward. At one point the female masseuse got up on the massage table, straddled it and used my rear end and a chair as she rubbed my back, neck and shoulders. I was mortified. I will say the only part of my body that was specifically massaged in the traditional way was my shoulder by my neck for about 2 minutes of the entire time of my session.
6. She stopped at exactly 8:30 and when I went to pay she charged me $ 70.00. I stated the time she started and finished and she dropped off 10.00.
This was not a relaxing experience nor did it feel professional.
I will never return to this establishment.

Brand new. Spotlessly clean. Many rooms. Showed up with no appointment so had to wait ten minutes. Got a very good 60 minute massage. Very friendly staff. I will be back!
