We provide free take up and disposal of the old window

and door screens, we recycle them and we use green

Established in 1982.

Danco began by cleaning windows and found their customers asking if they made window and door screens. Danny then decided to learn how to manufacture screens, got his contractors license and thus began Danco Screen Service.

I wish I had checked Unilocal before I had deal with this rude people.
The owner didn’t tell me they don’t care for other people’s time. Beginning, they said I can pick up screens anytime between 9−5pm but once they got money, they started giving hard time. Suddenly the owner called me, «You come to pick up now, otherwise we are leaving in 10 min» I asked them next available pick up time but «Don’t know, We have different schedule every week. Call me next week» the owner hung up the phone like this.
The screens are humble and ripped already only in a few month.

These folks are wonderful. They gave me a very reasonable quote and the screens came in exactly whenthey said they would They came and installed them promptly and I love my screens! They were not rude at all, like some comments suggest.

I wished I would have read these Unilocal reviews before I hired these people. I totally believe all the negative one star reviews since I can see the rudeness in both him and his wife’s voices. They are very intimidating when they talk to you. Dan came to install my screens and couldn’t install 2 of them because they were missing the hooks that keep the screen on. I asked if he had any of the hooks and he said he doesn’t carry them. Why wouldn’t a screen company carry the hooks that hold in the screen??? When I questioned him again he got somewhat rude with me so I backed off since I was alone at my house. I just couldn’t wait for him to leave. I would never recommend them to any one.

After going through many months of fighting with our 96″ screen doors we conceded and sought replacement. I have to admit, I was hesitant about this company because of the poor reviews. However, Dan was very easy to work with. He came out, ascertained what needed to be done, and had me turned around in just under a week (he had to custom make our over sized screen doors). Additionally, I spoke with some of my family and apparently I got a pretty good deal.

Called for estimate. Some guy answered the phone and said hello very casual so I thought I may have dialed the wrong number. I asked if I was calling a screen company and he rudely said «you called me you should know!» Just a rude way to greet your customers. So I’ll pass. Customer service is important too!

NO I did not have the wrong number unless the one in Unilocal is wrong. All I did was push the call link in Unilocal.I called on a weekend when you are closed. Even then don’t pick up the phone if you can’t answer your phone professionally and identify yourself as a company.

I had a really terrific experience with Danco Screens. I wanted to get a good number of window screens as well as pet guards. I poked around on the internet for a bit before I came upon their website. Dan came out a few days later and measured everything to make sure things would be exact. Then he came back a week later to do the install. Everything went super smooth and they always called the day before to confirm the appointment. The quality of the material as well as workmanship was very professional. I’m happy with a job well done and reasonable prices too!

After working with this company again in the last two weeks, I decided it’s time to write a review.
About 3 years ago, Danco Screens replaced all the window screens and two sliding screen doors in my home and I’m happy to say that after all this time, my screens still look and work great!
I had called various places looking for screen replacement services and a lot of them sell the parts so you can do it yourself, or require you to bring your old screens or the measurements in — I didn’t have the time or the patience for that so those were not viable options for me.
When I called Danco, Danny gave me the run down on what they do and what to expect, which was much more in line with what I was looking for. He told me that 50% is due on first visit and the remaining balance is due upon job completion. Upon the first visit, he measured all the windows and the two sliding glass doors.
In all the places I’ve lived, I have always had those sliding screen doors that are flimsy and get stuck or broken when you try and open and close them, so when he recommended going with the heavier duty screen doors, I decided to pay the extra amount for them.
Upon their second visit, they installed everything and gave me a crash course in pulling the screens out properly and how to replace the wheels on the door screens later down the road, if necessary. They also offered to wash my windows for what I felt was a competitive price. They washed my windows and did a fantastic job (totally worth the money)! After they were finished, I paid the remaining 50% plus the extra for window washing.
I must say, almost 3 years later, it’s a breeze opening and closing my screen doors (and I haven’t needed to get any replacement wheels either). My window screens are holding up great! I’ve contacted them to replace screens on another property since then. Overall, I am very satisfied with the products and services Danco provided and will reach out to them for business services in the future.

Let’s just say, that their customer service and approach or interaction with me, was the worst I have ever experienced in my entire very long life! He is Rude, and obnoxious, even childish! He begins a conversation complaining or Scolding-​badgering was more like it about My failure to return their calls to reschedule! Scolding, accusing, loud… blah, blah, bah, babbling wasting my time on the phone then passing me over to his wife, and continuing to comment about me on the phone as if I could not hear him! Then I get Her, I am just trying to schedule an appointment for a screen that was paid for and could not be installed from the outside; which he had told me could be done! But that is not the issue. She could not get off the subject of how long it took me to call them back either and how they have had all kinds of problems, health, family and otherwise! I am sorry for their loss, and their problems, we all have problems of all kinds, and you should NEVER take it out on your Customers! Your interaction with your customers on the phone should be polite, professional or at least civil! They have a lot of business and are evidently very busy, and it is very difficult to schedule an appointment. Having to deal with what I just dealt with is a very BAD EXPERIENCE! I called them 6:05PM, finally got off the phone at 6:11PM, You would have thought I had called at midnight and woke them up out of a deep sleep. I never write reviews but I just could not let this one go. I see I am not the only one who has experienced their lack of knowing how to treat customers over the phone. Sorry but this was inexcusable! We all have busy lives that do not necessarily revolve around a 9 to 5PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY WORK WEEK.

The worst service I have ever seen. The screen didn’t fit right after he came out and measured the door. Then when he was ask to fix it, the service came with an attitude and he tried to blame the door which was there long before his screen. The screen ripped in a week and the coating on the outside already started to show wear after one week. It got to the point of almost a fight, when he put his hand on me. He was ask to leave many time but continued to argue with me. Accused my wife of lying to him when ask question on the phone. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Good luck if you go with him, you got better chance in Vegas. $ 500. Piece of crap.

The worst business interaction I have ever had. It is a husband and wife run company. The wife wad rude on the phone and the husband was one of the most inefficient and incompetent workmen I have ever dealt with.
It took 5 months and 6 visits to finally get screens that fit. In the process of changing out old screens the man dropped one of the screens into the neighbor’s yard and when I asked if he would go get it, he looked at me like I was crazy (and he never went and got the screen). After his 4th visit I asked if he planned on wiping down the windows and window frame after he got black finger prints everywhere, again he looked at me like I was crazy and I ended up cleaning the windows and window frames myself.
In summary my interaction with this business was horrible and I hope no one else has to deal with this company in the future.

If I could give this place a zero I would. They had to come out several occasions. Once to measure, the second time to install half of the screens (the other half they made did not fit), a third to install the remaining screens, and a fourth to come out and fix the remaining ill fitting screens. Each time we asked them to come back to finish the job they would take weeks to schedule a date, would miss appointments, and were very very rude over the phone and in person! Save yourself some time and money while giving business to a more friendly place!

A great place to get broken or torn screens repaired. Fast service, quality workmanship, and friendly staff, all at a great price. I had to replace several screens last year, and Danco did them quickly and efficiently, so I returned this year, and had another screen replaced. I can definitely recommend Danco for anyone needing help getting their screens fixed or replaced.

Poor time management skills, incredibly rude, snappy and just makes others feel like crap. Probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I would stay away.
There are a lot more hard working companies and people out there who know how to treat their customers properly.
