Thank you for letting us check in at 4:00 in am really appreciated it, even when the light fixture dripped water. The hotel rerated my bill and let us have a bit later check out. Traveling with 4 children is really crazy. Thank you so much for making the trip easier

Decent hotel. We had to ask for clean bed sheets but other than that it was a nice experience. Overall it was very clean and breakfast was delicious. Too cold to go in the pool.

I love this hotel. Their service is comparable to Hilton, Im very sensitive, didnt experience any insect bites, pillows and comforters smells fresh n clean. I enjoyed the hot breakfast, but i missed the evening cheap beers and nachos. got an excellent friendly service from the asian lady she personally assist me with my waffle and saw her greeting each customers. clean room, comfy bed, fresh clean smell, Value? Yes 4 star. will comeback

After 3,000 miles of travel you want a place to rest. The spacious suites are great. If I rated just on hotel it would be 3. Rooms need updating and some TLC. I observed it is in the process of franchise change. I added a star due to the excellent customer service. I am a local who has been gone for 4 years. $ 25 one time pet fee is awesome! I stayed 7 nights so well worth the cost! I needed to extend my stay but due to a launch the hotel was booked! No worries. I was placed in a standard room for the night. and returned to my suite the next day. thank you Sir for going the extra mile and looking for availability! Breakfast is awesome! Evening reception seemed drab with snack options… Add veggies and it would be much better! I would stay again!

Brenda was amazing! Had a house fire 6 days before Thanksgiving that was so stressful she worked with the red cross to assure my son, dog and I had a room the room was clean all the rest of the have been amazing but Brenda made us feel at home which her and I clearly knew we weren’t

We stayed in this hotel when we decided to go to a little getaway close to Solvang, the girl at the lobby was very friendly and very efficient! The only reason I am not giving this hotel a 5 star review, it’s because we had to switch rooms due to the fact there was a bit of a leak coming from the mini fridge, overall the room was very nice, the beds where very comfortable. I would definitely come back here again!

We got in yesterday. Friendly staff. They have a pretty decent continental breakfast we. They offer waffles sausage bacon eggs toast where are you so bagels and muffins. Also offer cereal with yogurt and hard boiled eggs and a variety of juices and coffee

This place is not closed, we actually stayed here 9÷5÷2015.
The room was old and dated in need of upgrading the television was from the 80’s and the pillows were flat and smelled.
Very noisy and hard to sleep in.
Most entertaining place was breakfast which was plentiful, however needed monitoring. Pretty much was a feeding frenzy and people were more or less the rudest pushiest, inconsiderate sharks I have ever seen. There was this one couple who waited for the server to load the steam table with bacon and sausage and proceeded to take what she put out on a plate covered it and went back for me. Between the two of them they had about five pounds of eggs and breakfast meats.
Wouldn’t stay here again on a dare. Very shady people roaming around the parking lot at night. Stay in solvang much safer…

his place is horrible. No forced A/​C, we were sweaty all night while our kids were frozen Popsicles by morning because the box a/​c unit was right next to them. The «queen» size bed which was really a full size bed (false advertising) was hard as a rock with the most ridiculous size pillows which are munchkin size. When we requested more pillows we were told they were fluffy and they were very thin like tissue paper. This was previously was called Comfort Inn and it should be called Uncomfortable Inn. Don’t stay here, waste of money.

I called the hotel # listed and was told that they are converting to a Quality Inn and my October reservation is intact.

My husband and I love staying here! The staff is so friendly and helpful especially Mike. We feel so comfortable here and always look forward to visitng.

We were very happy with our stay. We stayed in the suite with full kitchen. They have Granite kitchen counter tops and granite shower this place was nice looking and clean. Everyone was friendly. Free breakfast and snack and alcohol for dinner. Breakfast was: cereal, bagel, waffles, toast, apples, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, sausage, drinks– coffee, juice, milk, soda. Dinner time was free wine and beer and nachos. The wine was bud light on tap and the franza box wine. Max 2 alcoholic drinks per person. Free to anyone staying in the suite rooms. They have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. They have decent coverage free wifi. Fitness center and laundry mat and office center. I have no complaints on this place. Happy to stay here. Rates were very reasonable compared to all local hotels for what you get with everything

Located in Lompoc, this gem of a place offered a reasonable rate of $ 85 for the night. Just a block down the street was a Motel 6 advertising $ 85 per person. I had no issue with the rate.
My issues were elsewhere. The lobby was welcoming enough. And the receptionist at the front desk who checked us in was very friendly. She warmly invited us to the Welcome Reception that would be going on for another 45 minutes by the pool. She promised beer, wine and nachos.
Hungry from our travels, we decided to go check it out. The room was packed. We got in line. The popcorn machine was still hot, but only a handful of kernels were left. I tried to grab a plate for the nachos when a sweaty, frantic employee (who obviously needed much more help; it looked like she was manning the «reception» all on her own) rushed out and corralled all the newcomers to the front of the room to «check-​in.»
She asked if we were in a suite or members. I shook my head «no.» And she promptly asked us for $ 3 each and pointed to the sign on the wall. No thanks. We walked out.
Our room came as advertised — there was a king sized bed and a nice flat screen television. However, the mattress was so old and lumpy that I woke up feeling 50 years older. The mattress we had at our campsite the following night felt much more comfortable! The best thing about the place was the waffle maker that made a perfect waffle in exactly 2 minutes.
Had the Holiday Inn Express next door had vacancy, we would have booked there. Unfortunately, the were booked solid and I woke up in the morning with an aching back and what I presume was a loss in IQ points. Should’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

«General Manager and Hotel Manager are thieves!!!» Originally reviewed August 22, 2014 on Trip Advisor. If I could rate this hotel a –5, I would. I attempted book a room for Tuesday Aug 29 late the night before. For whatever reason, the room was booked for Aug 28. The error was caught on the next morning. I made numerous phone calls immeditaley to Expedia and the hotel manager. Expedia was willing to work with me as long as the hotel approved. The hotel and general manager refused to reschedule my reservation. They are thieves!!! They stole $ 126 from my wife and me!!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT A CHOICE HOTEL EVER AND I WILL PASS THIS ALONG TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AS WELL AS EVERY TRAVEL POSTING/​REVIEW I CAN FIND!!!

Smallest room iv ever stayed in! Pool and full breakfast would be the only reason to come back, also the staff at breakfast get 5 stars!!! But the rooms are Way To Small !!!

So, we couldn’t find any other places with open rooms. Indeed this place smells as others have claimed … It’s hard to pinpoint what it is, a thick musty odor covered over with the slight aura of cleaning products. It resembles an old van that your alcoholic uncle had been living in, using as an ashtray, and experimenting with noxious chemicals in attempt to get high on a budget. If you can, stay somewhere else.

My family and I stay here almost every time we visit family. They are nice and very accommodating! Their complimentary breakfast is always a winner with my kids and they call it the «waffle place» because they love the waffles. Never had any major problems and any minor problems were seen to and taken care in a timely and professional manner. It’s a great place!

I stayed one night and chose this place because it was only 89.00 on a 3 day weekend. There are probably nicer hotels in the area but not with the same value. For 89 bucks we got our room and free continental breakfast and not just a muffin and banana a real breakfast. At night they offer snack food, for only 3 bucks you get 2 beers or 2 glasses of wine, nachos, popcorn, juice and soda. They have a coffee machine in the lobby that distributes nice strong coffee and hot water also to make hot chocolate with the packets they provide.
The Wi-​Fi is extremely slow, but I wont complain much since its free and runs through the entire hotel. The staff was nice. I dont like that its right next to an airport but its a private airport so we didn’t hear much action, I also dont like that its right by the prison. There are 2 elevators for this hotel 1 is broken and the other feels like its going to break at any second and send us in to a free fall.
Everything being said I would stay here again as long as the price wasn’t what I over heard the front desk quoting someone «$ 159.00/night».

Stayed one night (Sat-​Sun) booked online and I think I paid like $ 130.00 including tax. There are nicer hotels on the same street before you get to this one, which I’m sure I could have gotten for the same price had I booked earlier, but I lagged so we ended up at Comfort Inn. I was neither disappointed nor impressed. It was clean, friendly service, quick check-​in, quiet and cheap.
Free wi-​fi, free breakfast and a «happy hour» (none of which we used) and several other added little bonuses that a lot of cheaper hotels don’t have so that gives them a couple extra points.
If you’re only needing a room for one night, this place will bode well, but I’d say any longer of a stay and you’d be happier staying at one of the nicer hotels.

Good value accommodations and relatively close to the Wine Ghetto.
Be sure to book a suite since the pricing isn’t too far off from their standard rooms. The extra space is much appreciated.
Breakfast items are included and the staff is very good.
