Albert Vein Institute

My experience was excellent as this did not have the feel of a regular doctors office. I felt as though I was in a friendly environment the whole time. The staff was above industry norms in their reassurances and their friendly attitudes. I would highly recommend this facility.

I have an aunt in Colorado that will not stop raving about how great her confidence is since she had her «spider vein» treatment in December. On a recent trip to Denver I was able to meet Dr. Albert and the staff during her last follow up session. Great staff and friendly nurses. Super impressed that I actually met a real life thoracic surgeon in Dr. Albert who was welcoming and very intelligent. My aunt’s procedure was flawless and I could not be more thrilled.

I was referred to Dr Albert by a friend he treated. This was my third Dr to visit. I have nothing but RAVE reviews & compliments for Dr. Albert & his entire staff. Everyone was professional, kind, helpful, and seemed to love their jobs & their team. I waited 8 years to have my veins fixed because I have such a fobia of needles. EVERYONE was reassuring & fabulous. I am completely thrilled with my results, and I would hands down recommend Dr. Albert and The Vein Institute.

I had endovenous laser ablation performed on both of my legs to treat for varicose veins. After going through all of the steps to get the procedures approved/​covered by my insurance, I scheduled two separate appointments and had each leg treated separately. The first procedure went as well as could have been expected. The second procedure, however, was actually not even performed by Dr. Albert but rather his P.A. Kristin. This was an unsuccessful procedure as my varicose vein was not removed properly. I went back for a follow-​up and Dr. Albert agreed and was going to pursue getting my insurance company to cover the procedure. I was in no hurry to go through the procedure again (recovery is not fun) so i did not schedule it. Within a few weeks i received a bill for 2,500 $. Apparently just because the staff gets insurance to cover does not actually mean it does. The bill also has false charges for procedures that never took place. Go elsewhere for vein treatment!

I had my saphenous veins cauterized by Dr. Albert himself when a «complication» occurred during the surgery. The tip of their machine broke off in my leg and they had to make an emergency incision to remove the tip. They were unable to retrieve the tip and I had to be monitored every day in fear it might be swept into my heart. My life was at risk and I was terrified. Please keep in mind I had a 1 year old son. I wasn’t able to engage in any type of exercise of any type. Dr. Albert said he was waiting for an operating room at a nearby hospital but I couldn’t live every day like that. Dr. Albert also said I would have a 5−7in scar on my upper thigh after he removed it. I eventually went to an emergency visit on Fort Carson that had top of the line equipment for removal of shrapnel. It was safely removed by the amazing doctors at Fort Carson within 2 days. I have about a 2in scar on my left upper thigh. Dr. Albert charged me for the complete surgery, never offered to help with any expenses and I am still suffering from leg pain and poor circulation. He never spoke to me in person after I had the piece removed. He is very unprofessional and worried more about his monetary things than my life and the life of my son’s mother. I look at this scar daily and feel so much anger and sadness over that period in my life.
