History

Established in 1998.

Dr. Mary Blakeley started Willow Creek Dental in 1998. Her demeanor and dedication to quality care allowed her to quickly grow her patient base, prompting her to move in 2006 to the corner of Lincoln & Quebec in Highlands Ranch.

Thanks to the loyalty of our patients, we outgrew out space and moved to a new state-​of-​the-​art office in Lone Tree in January 2013. We are conveniently located off Park Meadows Drive near 1 – 25 & Lincoln.

Dr. Blakeley believes in providing comprehensive dental care with a compassionate approach. In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, she has received advanced training to offer Dental Implants, Invisalign, Sleep Apnea treatment, and TMJ Disorder Therapy.

I decided that I wanted to be a dentist as a teenager growing up in Pine Bluffs, WY while working for the local dentist for three years. After attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I was accepted into the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry and completed my DDS degree in 1997. I decided to move to Denver and quickly realized that my passion for dentistry would best be utilized in my own private practice so I started Willow Creek Dental in 1998. As my practice has grown over the years, I was excited to welcome Dr. Kylee Brightside and Dr. Amanda Campbell to the practice in July 2014.

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and our six children. After playing volleyball in college, I now enjoy coaching volleyball and watching our children in their sporting careers.

I love the relationships that I have built with my patients in the Highlands Ranch and Lone Tree community and look forward to practicing here for many years to co

Dr. Mary Kissinger-​Blakeley told me that I had TMD along with my related teeth grinding. It would mean that I would have to have a series of treatments that would cost me thousands of dollars (nearly a price of a car)! I was in the exam room with a 2 other women (a patient coordinator and another dentist that seemed like she just started at this office). Dr. Blakeley’s approach and manner was Cold and Distant: this is what you need… she pretty much suggested that I just have to deal with the time and cost. I asked for another alternative and she brushed it off by saying that I could get all crowns put in, but my teeth would still wear out. Awful «bedside» manner! If this site provided a Zero rating, I would give it a big fat 0! RUN as fast as you can!

WCD makes going to the dentist fun!
Dentist? Fun? Those usually aren’t two words you hear in the same sentence, but every time I go to WCD (and I’m there a lot!), it is an enjoyable experience. Their customer service is unmatched and you can tell that everyone there loves their job. I have never had a negative experience with anyone there, but I have to say that Kapka is WCD’s #1 asset. Aside from being kind-​hearted, funny, and an all-​around delightful person, she has amazing technical skills and is fantastic at her job. I look forward to going to the dentist because she brightens up my day. I couldn’t ask for a better dental practice, and I’m so glad I found WCD!

Willow Creek Dental provided the best dental care experience I have ever had.
I came in because an old crown had broken off, and I basically needed a new tooth. The consultation room had doors, so I felt comfortable that my privacy was being respected. I was pleased that the doctor suggested a procedure that would be half the price of the procedure I anticipated. Paying in full up front also resulted in a 5% discount. I can’t complain about that.
I had a root canal with Dr. Stubbs, and he made it quite the enjoyable procedure. He had a lot to chat about, and he even sang a little bit during the appointment. I have never felt so comfortable during a root canal, and I have had several.
Getting my new tooth was such a pleasure. I experienced no pain during the procedure, and I even got to watch a film via Netflix while they were making my new tooth. Yes, they actually have the technology to create a tooth that matches your other teeth in mere minutes. They took their time to get a perfect fit on the new crown, and it fits so much better than my last crown did. I am very satisfied with the work they did.
I have to highly recommend Willow Creek Dental in each and every way. The staff is attentive and concerned about the patients. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. Most importantly, the people who work there are very concerned about your emotional welfare. I am delighted to admit that I am excited to return for further improvements upon my dental health.

I readily admit that after some bad childhood experiences I would rather see any other provider but the dentist. However, after my nearly 10 years of going to Willow Creek Dental, I have become very comfortable with dental procedures and attribute a lot of that to Dr. Mary Blakeley and her staff. I love that I can come in for a cleaning and my hygienist Katie and I can catch up like old friends. For other dental work, Annette constantly checks to make sure I am comfortable. WCD has the latest technology and they true care about their patients’ overall health. I love WCD!

I was recommended to WCD by a co-​worker and have been very pleased with my experiences there thus far. Staff is very friendly and make you feel at ease. Facility clean, welcoming — and has massaging chairs! Other offices also make you wait part your scheduled appointment time, WCD cares about their patients and their time!
Only negative is the booking/​billing department is pushy. Feel like I have been pushed into procedures that were not urgent. We know you have to make money, but sometimes it feels like a car dealership trying to make the sale by the end of the day.
I will keep recommending to friends and family.

I was refered by a co-​worked to Willow Creek. I had billing problems with my previous dentist, and also wanted a second opinion regarding my last diagnosis.
I’ve only had one visit, but after I left, I thought to myself, wow, I’ve finally found a dentist for myself and my family. Here’s why:
— I wanted Dr Mary, and was able to get an appointiment with her in a couple of weeks. Actually, they had a cancellation, so they called me to see if I wanted to come in earlier. So, I got in within a week.
— I first met with the care coordinator, she was very nice and wanted to understand all of my concerns, what I look for in a dentist, and took her time explaining the process, billing, etc. She’s also a snowboarder, so I immediately trusted her.
— I had my xrays. They do digital, lower radiation, so I won’t turn into the Hulk.
–The hygenist was very friendly, but I was most impressed by her experience and knowledge. She answered a lot of questions I had about some pain I was having.
–The office is very clean and bright, your looking outside during your procedure, not a blank wall. They do have a monitor with a presentation of the staff and bios going the whole time. However, it would be nice to have Sports Center on.
–Finally, they found two small cavities that required normal fillings. My last dentist said I needed a special Ceric Only, $ 900 filing.
I will report back if anything changes, hopefully everything stays the same. I’ve refered my wife and daughter as well. We’ll see what they have to say. Finding a good, honest dentist is so hard, hopefully this review will help others.

So, I do not have the best of habits in terms of going to the Dentist, I actually have quite the phobia of them, rooting from some major work I done from an accident when I was young. It had been a couple years since I been to the Dentist. I didn’t want to go, at all, but my wife, who also goes there as well was being persistent (if you know what I mean).
In order for me to go to the dentist, I need some sedation, as in laughing gas. Willow Creek Dental does offer sedation dentistry, laughing gas and I think valium?
I am also somewhat of a germ-​aphobe, Willow Creek recently moved and their new place is brand stinkin’ new, I love it, when I left the chair, I personally witnessed them wiping down the chair and its surroundings, all tools were clean and in wrappers, I witnessed the Doc take the items out of the wrapper.
I have been there a few times now slowly overcoming my negative ideals about the dentist, it’s a chill environment, that let you watch movies or listen to pandora.
I have used Dr. Braasch every time I have gone there, he is gentle, listening to my concerns and is considerate of my fears, comfort and most of all my pocket book.

I went to this dentist on recommendation from my husband. The receptionist was very friendly, and I didn’t have to wait very long. The dental assistant was nice enough and I had shared with her that I have terrible teeth and apologized for whatever she may find. I saw her write down on the exam form «patient states she has terrible teeth.» I can just imagine they were thinking! CH CHING!
She started the examination and then I met the dentist. She stated that they needed to break up the cleaning in THREE visits and it MAY not be covered completely by my insurance. Seeing that I was already there, I went ahead with the cleaning. Upon completion, another appointment was scheduled for the next cleaning. Then I got my estimate… for $ 11,000, after my insurance!
The more I thought about it, the more I started to question them. So the afternoon before I was to go in, I decided to cancel my appt, and get a second opinion. The receptionist was not as friendly this time. I was informed very icily that I might be charged a cancellation fee since I had not cancelled within 24hours.
Sure enough, I received a bill in the mail for over $ 300! First of all the teeth cleaning that might not be completely covered was NOT covered at all, I was charged a $ 95 cancellation fee, and I was charged for X-​rays. I was 7 months pregnant at the time, and you can’t get X-​rays when you are pregnant. Worst experience I have ever had at a dentists office in my life. Unprofessional, rude, and they think they can take advantage of people.
