Wow. Where do I begin. They caused so much stress in my PREGNANT wife because their nurses don’t know how health insurance works. My wife has her first appointment and everything is fine, they do the tests. The blood test took THREE visits because they don’t know how to draw blood correctly (a lab did it perfectly the first time). She goes in for her second appointment and have her wait for 20 minutes then tell her they no longer accept our insurance. 1. If they looked at the system, they’d see that she’s covered (we called our insurance when we got home). 2. If that was the case, why wait to tell her WHEN SHE’S AT THE OFFICE, for the second maternity appointment?
No one called her beforehand, no one asked her questions about her health insurance. Our insurance was acceptable for the first visit. Then confirmed with our company that it’s still good and still accepted at the doctor’s office, but they REFUSED to see my pregnant wife making her stress out and thus affecting the baby.
I flat out would avoid this office at all cost. It will save you a lot of time and energy and your baby will be better for it.

Very nice staff. Always ready to help any possible way. Smiling and cheerful… great customer service… a huge plus in today’s world.

The absolute worst business I have ever encountered. I made this Unilocal account just to review this business. That’s how bad they were. They rescheduled my appointment four times. And when I showed up to my appointment they did not have shots that were supposedly ordered last week, There was no call to let me know that either.
The office was POORLY managed.
Do not go to this office!!!

I came here today for my first round of B12 injections. The ladies behind the counter were very welcoming and helpful with any questions I needed answers to. Bonnie administered my injection and she was the sweetest. I didn’t even realize she had injected me with the shot, she’s very soft handed, and knows what she’s doing. I highly recommend this medical office.

This Dr is the best I have had in years. She is precise, professional and kind. The staff is wonderful and would recommend this amazing Dr to anyone… the others reviews are so off from what the Dr and staff are!

I rarely post a review, but after months thinking about it I think it’s the responsible thing to do. I went to Advanced Women’s Health looking for a female urologist. I waited forever in the waiting room. Once I was able to see Dr. Gevorgyan, she did not greet me nicely or have any bedside manners. She treated my situation superficially and just ordered some urine exams. She even said I needed further procedures without even discussing my options. She just left the room without any time for questions and guidance as to what to do next. She must have been with me at the most 5 minutes (and I paid a lot of money for the appointment). I walked myself out and was trying to discuss the exams with the nurses. As the rest of the reviews point out, the office situation is total chaos and disorganization. The office is so dirty I felt I was going to a sketchy unofficial medical office. Now that I am reading the reviews and it seems like she has no license to practice in California, all of it is truly disturbing. After my urine exam, I had to call in multiple times to request the results since they never took the time to contact me. I never scheduled a follow-​up appointment. I decided to visit the head of the UCLA female urology who has 53 years of respectable experience in his field. Do not waste your money or potentially put your health at risk. I am sure this has been the worst physician visit of my life. My partner, who was accompanying me, was also super sketched out.

I don’t even know where to start! This place has some of the most precious staff and doctors of anywhere I’ve been! Not sure what the other reviews are about but as a very particular patient I can assure you this office bends over backwards to accommodate your needs and make you feel comfortable! I’ve been here several times and have seen both Dr Bahtia and Dr Gevorgyan and they are both awesome! I’m a urology patient and their compassion and ability to make me understand each step of my care is worthy of 6 stars! Thank you to the staff and both Dr for amazing care!

I would highly recommend Dr. Gevorgyan. She is highly qualified and takes pride in her patient care. I had been to a few highly recommend OBGYN’s in the area. They didn’t give my gyn issue much concern or time. When I came too see Dr. G she took my issue seriously and made sure she gave me a treatment plan that actually worked. She thinks outside of the box and makes sure your care is superior. Her staff is attentive and caring.

This is really odd, reading all the other reviews here, considering that my experience with the Dr. herself, and office staff was very much positive.
I’ve had a routine exam as my first experience, and based on that service — I’ve signed up for laser treatment (hair removal).
The Dr. is very knowledgeable, and detailed in describing findings, and answering questions.
I just hope there are plenty others happy with the services who have not left reviews yet.
Would very much recommend.

If you’re not dealing with the main doctor, laser treatment is a success! They just hired someone new to do the laser treatments and my experience was 300 X better than the first time. I wish I remembered her name, but she’s friendly, talkative, and patient. She makes sure that you’re not in pain and are having a good experience. I’m stoked to be able to have an affordable laser treatment center so close to my house.
THANK YOU, doctor, for having someone else do the job because your bedside manners do not exist. Terrible!

Been in the office twice. Both times, the wait was absolutely crazy and we all had appointments!!! Call in to change an appointment and hung up after being left on hold for more than 5 minutes. Spent money on a package of treatments because it is close to home and figured I’d be in and out. But, I would rather let them keep the money then go back and have a 5-​minute procedure be a 45-​minute ordeal because their scheduling is so bad. My time is valuable, too! If you’ve got nothing to do but wait, this is the place for you.

Warning!!! Please do not trust you skin to this women. My skin that was treated has 2^nd degree like burns and completely peeled off. She does not care about her patients. Do not cheap out on your cosmetic or medical procedures no matter how good the deal seems.
Recently I purchased an amazon deal from this office for laser hair removal. It looked ideal since it was cheap, close to me, and preformed by a doctor. I have the perfect dark hair pale skin combo for laser hair removal so I wasn’t too concerned. I should have been worried about the thousands of vouchers that they have sold.
This is irresponsible since there is no way all these people with vouchers can be seen in a orderly fashion with one doctor.
The wait times are ridiculous– up to 3 hours with an appointment.
I had to purchase to the topical numbing lidocaine for $ 35. This cream did not numb at all! Even if it did I was left in the room waiting for 1 hour and a half so any effect wore off.
The doctor was 1 hour late to the appointment. Didn’t greet me and insulted me about the area I was getting treated. She
Spent 3 minutes on an area that should take 15 minutes. It was honestly the most painful experience in my life. I felt the heat radiating under my skin like it was boiling. I have had laser before and the pain never was more than a moderate level.
After she finished the doctor walked out abruptly and didn’t even say a word. Turns out she didn’t even know what I was been treated for. I told the medical assistant that she didn’t finish and the doctor walked back in and asked me why I didn’t tell her. She did two zaps on the area and walked out again with an attitude. I was shocked.
I was in so much pain for a week and could hardly walk or use the restroom. I cried when I looked at my bikini line. I should have listened to the other Unilocal reviews.
I am taking my complaint to BBB and whatever else authority I can. I don’t want anyone else to go through this painful, dangerous, and embarrassing experience.
I repeat get a refund while you still can!

I came in for laser treatment and I have to say it was a lot better than I expected! The doctor was really nice and she knew I was a little nervous so she made sure to make me feel at ease by answering any concerns I had. The office itself is very clean and well kept. I will definitely be back for more treatments!

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. I purchased one of the laser treatment packages. My consultation (after waiting 45 minutes) consisted of the dr asking me if I had any questions. No information from her about the treatment, no pre-​treatment care. Nothing. Just do I have any questions.
At the first session I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to be taken back. The room was dirty, there was oily residue from the previous client on the medical bench, the dr sneezed without covering her face, and she burned me. Thankfully, I was able to get my money back.

It looks like I am one of many here who had a bad experience, although all I did was a consultation for a laser treatment. I’ve done laser before in several clinics and never had such a bad experience as in this disorganized establishment.
First, appointment booking: I told them I’ve done laser before and I want to come in for a touch up/​follow up session. They said, it’s their policy to talk to a patient first. establish if s/​he qualifies, talk about the dangers, risk, etc.
Fine. Policy.
When they called to confirm my appointment I asked again if I can have the laser treatment after the consultation (once they establish my candidacy), they said no, first consultation, then they’ll schedule me for a treatment. Fine, I said again, its the policy. But when I came in for an appointment, I was asked, right away by the receptionist and BEFORE the consultation if I want to do the laser treatment the same day… WTF??? WHERE DID THE POLICY GO?!
I told them about my attempts to schedule a session after a consultation… and that I made other plans and could not stay long… no reaction from the staff… that was a red flag #2.
I decided to do the treatment after the consultation. Little did I know that I would have to wait 40 minutes for my turn ! Did I say I was on time? Yep, noon, sharp. On a side note, there was a girl who came in after me, she got a call from the office asking if she can come early. She did, but judging by the fact how long I had to wait, she waited even longer. Whats the point of asking someone if you can come early then!!!
Anyway, I was finally attended to, the consultation was a joke. I told them I did it before, i need a touch up, everything I could tell them over the phone. But after 40 minutes of pointless waiting I had to leave! I could not stay any minute longer…
Anwyay, I am requesting a full refund from Groupon. I do not wish to receive any medical treatment in this facility where they do not respect its clients/​patients and I most definitely do NOT want to wait 40 minutes or more every time i come for a treatment (there would be 6 of them).
Don’t waste my time people! Pull your sh#$%t together. You can surely attract new customers with groupons, living socials and the like but you will loose them pretty quickly once the clients come for a first visit. what a letdown. Way below the standard.
To all UnilocalERS: do not ignore the bad reviews, they are here for a reason. And if you do come to this facility leave (RUN) at the very first sign of a RED FLAG!

Advanced Women’s Health is an awful office. It is dirty and the staff there is thoroughly incompetent of any medical questions you may have. As you sit and wait, so do the staff. I observed the receptionist and noticed she was not writing any notes down regarding the phone calls she was getting. I can personally attest to this because she never called ME back on a year long issue I had with the billing (more on this later). The staff gossips and stands around rather than doing their job, whatever that is. Very unprofessional. I am not sure where she hires these women but it seems to me this is how she keeps her profit high and payout low.
Dr. Anna Gevorgyan is the the epitome of a doctor who is only concerned with the money that flows into her ‘medical’ practice rather than really caring for the patient. I was seen by her last year on June 2 – 3, 2013. She saw me, asked about my symptoms, took tests, and sent me off on my merry way. Her staff rescheduled me for my appointment for the following week for a routine check up to see how the medication worked out. My lab work was sent to two lab offices.
Before my second appointment, the office called me to tell me that they no longer can see me because they realized that they did not accept my insurance. I was billed for both lab tests (totaling abut 300 dollars) because of her staff’s inability to thoroughly check medical records. I have been receiving and fighting them about the same billed for a year now.
I had to have someone to speak on my behalf, sit in her office, and demand action regarding her unprofessional manner on handling the bill. It was an «usual» event to have someone do that; however, we wouldn’t have taken such action if she staffed better people to handle of administrative business.
My advice:
— Stay away from Dr. Gevorgyan.
— Those who complain about her should report her to the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, Business Bureau, as well as the medical board of CA
— Go to Dr. Robyn Lawton in Fullerton, CA

Honestly, I like Dr. Anna G. so I’m sorry to leave such a low rating but the wait times have been awful. Plan on waiting at least an hour before you’re seen. The office is somewhat disorganized so you’ll need to have lots of patience if you want to go to this place.

Long wait time

Worst. Place. Ever. I cannot believe this is a medical office! So dirty, unkempt, unprofessional. I’m not usually the one to write bad reviews, and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but… Dr. Anna Geovorgyan has the worst bedside manner possible. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a healthcare provider quite as unprofessional and untrustworthy as Dr. Geovorgyan. Everything in these reviews — the scheduling faux pas, the disorganization, the disrespect — everything is true. Do not go there! Utter waste of time and money. Thankfully, Amazon Deals refunded me my money after I enumerated in great detailed why it is that I would never in my right mind let Dr. Geovorgyan into my nether regions. An obgyn? Women’s health practitioner? Really? Nightmare! So glad it’s over.

This is absolutely the Most unprofessional physicians office I have had the misery of interacting with. My aunt’s surgery was scheduled in early December. She is an older lady who was scheduled for a surgery which she needed to address the pain that she is in constantly. She did not eat the night before to prepare for surgery and made many arrangements to get ready for her surgery and was looking forward to finally getting some relief from her pain. A few hours before the surgery someone called and canceled. They said that they would reschedule. I have called many times and have spoken to office staff and the person who is responsible for scheduling. They have given me every excuse in the book and yet they don’t schedule her surgery. I don’t know why except for the fact that this office must be incredibly disorganized. They also are dishonest: I ask for the person who’s in charge of scheduling they tell me what she’s sick, she’s out of the office, she left at 2 o’clock and every other excuse… I have called so many times. Her Dr. Is Gevorgyan… she has never called to apologize or check on her patient. They keep offering her more strong painkillers rather than rescheduling the surgery. Also, they want to redo all the pre-​op examinations which would be re billed to insurance… since she is a senior it is on the states tab!!!
The absolute worse part is when I called to complain (after being nice didn’t work) the lady hung up on me when I asked for her name. They are liars and unprofessional. Why would you want them operating on you?
