History

Established in 1997.

Ambrosia has set out to be more than just a routine Event Planning Company. Our ultimate goal was to streamline the method by which clients find their vendors and make the planning of their event silky smooth and stress free. Our very unique model has been regarded as a break though because when you visit us you will find all the services available in our event services facility. Our desire was to allow our clients to book all their services under one contract and one payment system. This frees our clients from having to write multiple checks or making multiple charges to secure multiple service vendors in the traditional booking system. We’ve grown to be one of the fastest growing event services companies in the US as a by product of this unique system All 16 of our services are quality services and we present them all to our clients in our single source event venue. We are happy to say it has been a huge success.

I have an extensive background in event planning and coordinating starting as a teacher in middle school and high school. I graduated Long Beach State University with a degree in communications and a minor in management. I currently work as the director of event services for Ambrosia taking care of the needs of all our awesome clients. I love this company for all the wonderful benefits we bring to our clients. World class event service and amazing cost saving deals is just one reason I believe Ambrosia’s the best Event Company in America.

These folks made my milestone birthday special. They did a great job of catering to our «last minute» request for a photographer. My party was less than 7 days away when we contacted them. They got back to us immediately following our inquiry and had a photographer lined up on that same day. Walter was our photographer and he did a great job not only with the pictures but with his interaction with our guests. He called the day before the party to get an idea of what I wanted in terms of photos. He was prompt and checked in with me throughout the party to make sure he was getting the pics I wanted. I would definitely recommend their services and will keep them in mind for future events. Easy to do business with and very professional. Thanks Walter and Michael!

There’s no other place in Long Beach to get so many services for such a low price! My 18th birthday turned out beautiful, and Allen did an AMAZING job with the photo shoots. My court, family, and I couldn’t have been any more satisfied with the outcomes! Not to mention, I had a last minute change of the room where my debut was to take place from outdoors to indoors, and Allen somehow arranged to have uplighting on the spot. Special thanks to Allen and Ed for capturing the day with magical memories to last a lifetime and more!

Working with Ambrosia was wonderful! Their staff was very professional, prompt, and caring throughout each step of the process — from our initial meeting to our pre-​wedding correspondence, and on the day-​of. The pricing was unmatched and the quality was better than we could have hoped for. Specifically we worked with a DJ (Jose), a photographer (Joshua), and videographer (Ed). Each vendor had great attention to detail, incorporated our specific needs, and produced a finished product that made our day special. We HIGHLY recommend using Ambrosia and would gladly use their services again for another event.

I would definitely recommend Ambrosia to anyone who is planning their own wedding. Allen was able to put together a great package for us. We hired them for photography, DJ, photo booth and a day coordinator (best decision ever). My (now) husband and I were very happy with their services from the beginning to the end. It was a pleasure working with everyone on our wedding day. They made you feel very comfortable and at ease. Walter was able to pick up that we’re not photo crazy and didn’t make us do too many poses or hold them very long. I feel like when you’re being told to do something you don’t like or feel comfortable doing, it definitely shows in pictures. Annie was fantastic as our day coordinator, I’m so happy Allen paired her up with us. All our family and friends loved our photo booth company (Strike a Pose), just wish we had more time to enjoy it ourselves. Our wedding was a success thanks to Ambrosia. Thank you!

I was planning a surpise proposal for my fiancé, and I was hoping to find a photographer that was flexible, enthusiastic, and affordable. Fortunately, I came across Ambrosia Inc on Unilocal,and I found just what I was looking for. The staff at Ambrosia really cared about the details of the event. Sean was our photographer. He called me before the event to touch base with me and to make sure all my needs were met. He was accommodating, professional, and really down-​to-​earth, which made for an awesome experience. Our photos were ready within a week, and they looked great. Sean captured the emotion of the proposal so well with several candid shots, and our more structured photos looked terrific, as well.

We meet Allen and booked him as the photographer for our wedding. He worked with us for the engagement pictures and they came out great. He helped us pose to make sure that the picture came out good. LoL. The wedding pictures came out great also with tons of pictures. Also booked the photo booth thru him as well and was a great hit at our wedding. He made the process painless and easy. My fiancé and myself hired this company for our photography/​videography for our wedding. Allan has been more than accommodating, reasonable and professional. He returns emails promptly. My Mom was a wedding Coordinator for over ten years and she was very comfortable in our decision to hire this company for her only daughter’s wedding and I am recommending him to my best friend, whose upcoming wedding I am in. Thus far, we have only done our engagement photo session (our wedding isn’t still for another several months). Walter shot our engagement pictures and what an amazing experience. He was professional, kind, took some amazing pictures, and was willing to work with my fiancé and myself when it came to suggestions and using our own props. All around a great experience. I have 100 worries about my wedding, but everything involving Ambrosia I’m not worried about

My husband and I were fortunate to have Michael and Walter of Ambrosia photograph our wedding day, (May 16th 2015)!
From the beginning, correspondence with Allen was great. He was always available and helpful when I had questions, and even now (a couple months later), Susan is still answering questions I have and assisting me with whatever I need regarding prints, etc. Customer service at Ambrosia is fantastic!
The day of the wedding, Michael and Walter were professional and creative, while getting all of the crucial shots. We wanted the traditional photos, but we also wanted creative candid shots, and they delivered beautiful photos that truly captured the essence of our wedding. Both Michael and Walter were so sweet and easy to work with, it was really fun and comfortable the entire time!
We are still enjoying their amazing online gallery! The interface is very user-​friendly, and organized wonderfully.
Thank you all at Ambrosia for being a part of our wedding, and capturing our day with such excellent talent and customer service!

My wife and I enlisted the help of Ambrosia for the photography of our wedding and to provide a photo booth as a favor to our guests. We could not be happier! Michael did a phenomenal job and our pictures are perfect! He was so wonderful to work with. The photo booth was very fun and our guests had a blast with it. The whole of our services was very reasonably priced, especially for the high level of service that we received. First, I want to thank Ambrosia events for doing our engagement photos. Michael was our photographer and the first initial contact for ambrosia. He has been great with ensuring that all is promised with the package deal we got with their company. We were very impressed with how great of a job Michael did for our engagement shoot. The pictures came out great!!! So many compliments we got for the pictures. Michael was very professional and fun to work with. We had such a great time taking the photos. The photos are 5 stars! The only negative thing was the photos took almost a month to receive. My best friend had Michael and I believe Alise as photographers. The photos are the best I have ever seen for wedding photos. When the wedding website came out with all of the photos everyone told my best friend that the photos were amazing and they want to use Ambrosia for their weddings. The photographers are also very professional and nice, not too intrusive. The price was REALLY GOOD for 2 photographers and rights to all of the photos, website etc. Less than $ 1,500. High quality pictures. They wear shirts to your wedding that say their company name on them. They are respectful and capture real moments. I would recommend them to all friends and family. I bet my best friend will use them next for her baby baptism, whenever that is!

I have no idea how this company has a 5 star rating… If I could put no stars I would. This company is so unprofessional. Not only did they lose all the information (including my quote) on the wedding twice, they called the day before my wedding asking where I was… I had to tell them that it wasn’t until tomorrow! I paid for photography, video, and photbooth. Well the pictures are repetitive and Allen seemed to be in a bad mood the entire time, giving off attitude to family members. Many of the hours I paid for wasn’t even shot. Its pretty embarresing when you’re paying for a photographer to just sit there while there was tons of opportunity to photograph my family having fun on the dance floor. The video is horrible quality and choppy and not even set to the music that I asked for. The photo booth people ate the whole time, yelled at my 7 year old nephew, and stole almost all of my candy and cookies and cakes from my sweets bar while we were outside taking the send off pictures. Allen still has not done anything to fix this except saying sorry. «Sorry» does not get me my money back from overpaying for shitty service. Please, save yourself the headache and go with a different company!

We booked Ambrosia for Hair and Makeup, Limo Services and Videography services. The price was unbelievable, it’s practical a steal.
Allen was our main contact. He is helpful, friendly, professional and just super. You have no idea how many times he amended our contract to satisfy our request. Honestly, I almost did not have a limo on my big day but thanks to Allen, he made it happened. He is just simply awesome.
Hair and Make up was Edelyn. She and her crew of professionals works magic. They were prompt and accommodating to my crazy bridesmaids.
Roman Worldwide Transportation was a great. It was a smooth ride and the driver was really nice.
Josh, our videographer. He was a ninja. He was always on the move, multi-​tasking. Our wedding video came out perfectly. It captured everything we remembered and more.

My husband and I chose ambrosia’s video and photography services for our wedding day. It was the best decision we made! We met with Allen and he explained to us in detail everything we needed to know about the services we were getting. He will work with what you’ve got. Allen was very professional and he made sure that our special day would be captured in all it’s entity.
On our wedding day, Allen and his crew were amazing!!! They were on top of everything from telling us how to pose and capturing each important moment. His crew was very friendly and professional. They definitely knew what they were doing. They also traveled from our wedding ceremony which was at garden grove, to our reception venue at la mirada. They were so kind and were always on point with their job. I even told them what types of style of photography I wanted and they took the time to research and study the poses so that my husband and I can do them!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMBROSIA SERVICES TO EVERYONE! In fact, we are looking forward to receiving services again from them. Perhaps a birthday party or for any events really. They touch up your photos and put awesome effects on them. They provided us with a cd of all the pictures and also the video of our wedding.
If you’re looking for a crew to tend for your video and photography services, I say pick ambrosia! They also have other services, just speak with Allen.

Found them on Unilocal,I was looking for a videographer literally a week before the wedding and I’m so glad I did.
We were on a really tight budget and they were totally great at working out a package that would work for us.
We got to see samples of their work on YouTube and I really liked Oleg’s work and was lucky to hear he was available to shoot.
There were a lot of things that didn’t go according to plan that day and i was seriously stressed and worried that there wouldn’t be any good shots but when I saw our highlight video I couldn’t be more happy. I am so glad we hired them to shoot our wedding.
Not only did they get great shots for our video but they literally had the highlight up and ready for us to view by Monday morning and our wedding was on a Friday night.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer and will definitely keep them in mind for future events with our family.

My wife and I chose Ambrosia for our traditional wedding ceremony, our reception, and a wedding party. Michael and the whole team at Ambrosia were nothing short of spectacular.
They are a dedicated group of professionals aimed at creating a perfect event which works around the customer’s terms. They are always looking to improve themselves and try new techniques and styles for each customer, and it’s this flexibility which speaks volumes to their character as a company and a team.
I have no hesitation in recommending them for anyone looking for a great photography team. Our albums and videos came out great, and the even the most discerning members of our family and friends were impressed. We used Ambrosia as our photographer to our wedding last Sept. 8, 2013. We met Allen the first time and we booked him right away. He was wonderful. Answered all our questions and helped us put our wedding ideas together. Allen and Michelle did an excellent job! We sent them pictures of what we wanted our wedding would look like and they did what/​how we wanted. Special thanks to Allen for taking great pictures with our family members especially having a baby at our wedding party. Can’t stop smiling looking on how great they all turned out!
