I began working with the Dream Team Directors 3 years ago on a project for a client. They worked with us to capture a conference and one-​on-​one interviews with panelists which they turned into an awesome and educational video. Since then, I have worked with them on many more projects, from covering press conferences as the in-​house camera for my clients, to joining community activists on protests around LA to document local advocacy efforts. They have always handled every project with great care and attention to detail, while quickly turning around beautiful content on tight deadlines. Many thanks to Daniel and Bayou!

The Dream Team Directors are exactly what their company name evokes in your mind… not only a dream to work with but also critical in making other peoples’ dreams come true! We were thankful to find them and work with them many, many times. They are professional, approachable, honest, talented, dedicated and fun! I would recommend them all the way!

Expectations exceeded! As we know, some people plan their wedding since the moment they discover the meaning and purpose of marriage. To be tasked with identifying the «correct candidate» to record multiple moments which you will retain for the rest of you life is nerve wrecking. Daniel and I (groom) crossed paths in the fall of 2014. I was able to witness his passion toward his job.
Once a date was set for our wedding, I asked my wife to be, Jessica, to consider Daniel for the job. Jessica reached out to Daniel a few days later to coordinate a face to face meeting. The meeting was a blast. Daniel was able to understand our personality, small nuances which were meaningful to us and understood our vision and expectations of final work product. In our opinion, money well spent should be on video/​photography — because nobody will remember the expensive linen or extra flower arrangements.
Daniel’s final work product was magical; we love it. Daniel’s approach during this process was to capture content which defines who we are as a couple. This process began by generating a documentary of our dating life which was incorporated into our wedding video. Daniel was able to capture «the correct» moments which meant the most to Jessica and me throughout the wedding.
Daniel demonstrated the utmost professionalism, attention and truly listened to our needs during this process. Our experience with Daniel was very positive, FUN and creative.

These guys!!! Whoa!!! Step back!!! Take a deep breath! Okay…
We needed to make a very professional quality film for a medical technology we’ve brought to market. This couldn’t be your average garden variety $ 1000 video. It’s going to be viewed by doctors! and hospital CEOs! and investment bankers! and other big people like that.
But we didn’t have $ 100k to spend. So we started off with a budget guy who shot some video and started editing. I don’t want to knock him, but it just wasn’t getting where we needed it to go.
Called Dream Team Directors. From the moment they picked up the phone it was a whole new level of game. Daniel immediately picked up on what it was we needed. (He’s very quick and to the point.) Sent him what we had so far; in less than an hour, he sent us a full analysis of the state of our product, and what was needed /​missing to bring it up to the level we needed, point by point. Called us and made some very clear recommendations and suggested we re-​shoot it that weekend — Sunday, just 3 days away. The price was reasonable, we felt. You don’t get Steven Spielberg for $ 1000. Alright. And he was obviously a seasoned expert filmmaker who knew his trade backward and forward. I like working with people who are on their game!
Sunday: they brought in a world class videographer. No exaggeration. A professional who shoots all the footage for new products coming to market for one of the largest tech companies in the world (can’t name names). Took us to an outstanding studio — I mean really excellent, perfect for what we needed. Lighting guys. Whole 9 yards. Even brought in some talent. Boom! Spent all day shooting the video. He asked us a lot of questions, which is excellent, because our product is technical and it needs to be right. This team went to work and knew exactly what they were doing. (It’s fun watching competent professionals do their thing. Instead of us saying, «No, no, do it like this» — we were sitting back watching saying «whooaaa… double rainbow…»)
One week later we had our first edit. Absolutely stellar. Aesthetically stunning. Great music. We were thrilled! Another week and we had our final edit — beautiful, and technically on-​point everywhere. A $ 50k video, prime-​time commercial quality, for a fraction of the price. Showed it to our first investor (not even the final edit!), and received an investment on the spot — without even a pitch.
We have more films to make and will be using Dream Team Directors for every one. Thank you guys for a very professional, artistically gorgeous film!
