Amtrak Bus Stop

Not sure when this new Anaheim train station was built, but it is brand new and such a major improvement from the last one. Got sort of confused after getting off the train because I did not recognize the area and thought that I might have got off at the wrong station. There’s a mini market inside, and looks like they are going to be opening a brewery/​bar on the second floor soon. I think that I might just take the train to go to Honda Center (right across the street) from now on rather than driving.

This is a new Amtrak Station located at bus stop A on 1^st street near Long Beach Blvd. See pics included. This bus stop also picks up passengers for:
Metro 232 (orange bus to LAX)
Commuter Express 142 (blue/​white bus to San Pedro/​Ports O Call)
Torrance Transit #3 (green/​white bus to Del Amo Mall, Redondo Beach Pier, city of Carson, etc)
This is great news to get picked up here instead of waiting for Amtrak bus by Denny’s on 6^th and Long Beach Blvd. That area was so shady and such a strange location for pick ups. This new location is much better.
You must have a confirmed pick up ahead of time or else you cannot get on the bus. No ticket agent or counter is here, it’s just a bus stop. So don’t forget to make your reservations ahead of time.
This bus will take you to Union station where you can connect to Bakersfield, San Diego, etc… anywhere the Amtrak trains travel in Southern California and beyond.
