Love the store and the staff! Every time I go there someone is immediately coming over to ask if I need help. Everyone is VERY friendly and they take their time to help and answer questions. The store itself is small which I like a lot because you don’t have to walk around for hours looking for something or someone to help. And prices are good too and the store is clean and organized. VERY professional!

I love this little hardware store. The staff are extremely helpful and it is nice to be able to get in and out with little to no hassle like going to Home Depot or Lowes. The place is small, but they pack in the merchandise believe me. I always come here first and if they don’t have what I need I venture to the large hardware stores. But I love this little local place in the hood!

I don’t really do a lot of home repairs but thought I’d fix my leaking toilet. I walked in and was greeted by a young man who showed me exactly what I needed. He also gave me advice on how to install it. I would never think they would give me so much help in such a small store. Thanks anthony and phil! Will be coming back more often

The staff here is very attentive and knowledgeable. They even do small jobs such as glass cutting, and screen replacement. The place looks small from the outside but they pretty much have almost everything you are looking for. I’ve been here so many times for a quick errand and every time found what I’ve been looking for. If you don’t want to drive to the big box retailer then this is the place to be. Plus they give great customer service.

Went to get a key made and had to wait for the male clerk to finish reading about why someone gets gray hair to his female coworker. Then after he was done he preceded to try and pull out gray hair of the female coworker why she was trying to make my key which was very distracting for her and made my visit longer than expected. Unprofessional from both of them. Who was managing these employees?

Philip was awesome! I had purchased some wood screws from Home Depot earlier in the day and thanks to the person that helped me they were the wrong screws. Thank God Ace Hardware is walking distance from my house bc I walked over and Philip got me exactly what I needed and signed me up for the ACE rewards! Thanks Philip and Ace Hardware for fixing Home Depots mistake. Next time I’m coming here 1st!

I bought a piece of plastic that needed to be cut to the same size of the old one I brought. The first time they cut it they did it incorrectly and they had to do it again. They cut it a second time, but when I got home I found out it didn’t fit correctly in the opening. The process of cutting took an incredible amount of time. The purpose of the plastic was to cover a 40 year old fluorescent lamp fixture. At that point I decided to live with a piece of plastic that doesn’t fit properly into the opening. I had to pay someone to install this for me and i could not afford to pay for it again. Besides, I did not know if they will ever cut it right. Every time I look at the light fixture I feel very disappointed and upset. Many years ago I had the plastic cut by All American Home Center. They had good cutting equipment and they did it well and very quickly. Unfortunately, this store is no longer in business. My advice is: don’t go there to have anything cut.

I came to Ace Hardware to locate a pool tester for my new spa. I was able to get the chemicals at Home Depot but for some reason they had no tester.
I parked on Anaheim street in a 20 minute zone right out in front which was very handy. When I walked in the staff was having some sort of meeting but they were quick to figure out what I needed and guided me back to the end cap that housed all the pool equipment.
I found the part that I needed for $ 5.99 and I was in and out of there in about 12 minutes. I wish there was an Ace Hardware a little closer to my house!

I found this store right in my new neighborhood about a year ago. Since that happy day, I just don’t go to the big box lumber stores. Phil is the manager and is always looking out for customers who have specific needs. The staff is great, especially Favi, my fav. Go ahead try to find a more complete offering in such a small space, AND organized! I Love this store! BTW, the Ace branded products are very good, unlike the big guys, who’s brands are usually the worst imports. If you’re a DIY person like me, it won’t be long before they’ll be calling you by name.

Superfast customer service. Prices that rival and usually beat Home Depot. I never thought I’d find a Hardware store I’d like this much, especially an ACE. This store is small but well staffed and people walk in and the employees KNOW PEOPLE BY NAME! At a chain hardware store. Never seen it before. Best ACE I’ve ever been to.

Been here a once a twice a million times now for sure. been listen in thew long beach business journal as a regular“Victor Whites Handyman”.
If you own a craftsman home leave hope depot right now. They wont have anything there to fix your home just modern and wood and framing and wall and paint. but the details like plumbing and electrical and other things that are very necessary to keep these old things alive. Heater valves vent covers old stove pipe parts a very extensive plumbing and brass fitting section for conversion and repair to old equipment.
the very best paint matching done on site. «consumer magazine states that ace hardware Paint is very very good» no fading peeling or loss of Gloss effect. I use it all the time…

Yeah, that’s right, I’m doing a project. I usually walk over to the Ace on 4th but I happened to be driving by and figured, what the heck.
Anyhow, I like that it’s small and I don’t have to wander aimlessly like at some other Hardware chain I might mention, but still always can find everything I need. Also, everyone was very helpful, and that Oscar, what a cutie!

I went into today to find some supplies that I had not real idea about and was helped by a very kind woman who, with the help of very nice man who also worked there, assisted me with my project by recommending to me EXACTLY what I needed. The cashier lady was also very nice and efficient. I will come back here for all my hardware needs.

Love this place. It’s so convenient to just stop by and grab whatever you need. The workers are so helpful and friendly.
Sure, the prices are a little higher than the giant home stores but I think it’s worth it.
One time I needed a key made so I stopped by on one of my runs and I only had a single dollar bill on me and the girl covered the 8 cents I was short — I forgot about tax!

Even though it’s part of a chain, it has a small biz feel. It’s a tiny hardware shop filled from floor to ceiling with household supplies and tools.
You can your keys copied into lightweight aluminum keys. Believe me, you will notice the difference when you carry more than 3 keys!
The service people are friendly and super helpful! I wanted to hang a big heavy picture frame and they made sure I got the right type of nails. Even told me that I could return it if it didn’t work. So no worries of buying the wrong stuff.
Home Depot and Loews lose that one-​on-​one customer service because they’re so big. The workers there seem rushed or just not around.
Ace will be the store I go to first.
