I recently purchased a home that’s been empty for a couple of years, so it wasn’t surprising to find a number of plumbing problems that needed fixing. I spoke with a few plumbers on Unilocal and decided to try Applewood Plumbing, and I’m so glad that I did!
Mark, the owner, was polite, professional and his prices were very reasonable. He’ll quote a flat fee for the project, which is great and STRESS-​FREE because we both agree on a price before the job is performed, and obviously it’s a price that we’re both happy with! So, there’s no worry about the plumber taking his time (if he’s working on an hourly fee).
Mark’s son, Tyler, and Chris were the plumbers that did all the work and they were great! They were very professional, and I didn’t feel that they were rushing through the job. We did determine that one of the toilets could not be fixed, and that we would have to install a new toilet. My car wasn’t large enough to accommodate a new toilet, so Mark had Tyler and Chris follow me in their van to Home Depot and they brought the new toilet back to our house. On their time! WOW! That’s what you call service!
I was so pleased that a few days later, when the water heater broke down, I called Mark at Applewood Plumbing and he gave me a great price to install a brand new water heater. He had Chris come right over and install it. And this was on a Sunday! Mark didn’t charge us an additional «weekend» fee, and Chris was off that day; but he came over and did a GREAT job.
Plumbers can be scary. We’ve heard plenty of horror stories from friends, so I was a little nervous going in, but I can’t tell you how happy I was with Applewood Plumbing, and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Went great! Response and work times were super fast. I always get worried about cleaning up after jobs, but Zach and his helper have left things spotless. It took them a little over an hour to remove the old water heater and replace it with the new one. Zach was courteous, kind, and informative. I gave them 4 stars because I thought the overall price of the water heater installation was kinda high and right now I’m trying to save, but I didn’t call any other plumbers so maybe their price was low. I’ll call Zach next time we need plumbing help. &Renae, who called to schedule both visits was friendly and knowledgeable!

I called Applewood Plumbing on a Saturday needing a new water heater and vent upgrade. Mark came out the same day to take a look and by Monday my new water heater was installed! So fast, and such great customer service! Mark, his brother, and the other plumbing tech were all very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I’ll defining be a returning customer! Same day I made the call they sent a plumber out and gave us a free bid. There was a nice explanation of what they do and why. very professional and friendly! When they installed the new water heater, Zach was prompt and completed the work in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend Applewood Plumbing to friends and will use them for other plumbing jobs in the future.
We had three bids to replace our hot water heater. One company was over $ 2,000 which seemed excessive and the other just wanted to bid over the phone. The in-​person bid and price is what sealed the deal.

We recently had to have our garbage disposal replaced, other companies we’re going to take too long which was really important as our sink was beginning to smell and applewood came to save the day!

Applewood Plumbing replaced my whole main sewer line using a trenchless pipe bursting technology. They dug two holes and pulled a new line through the old line. The best part of this is you can’t even tell they were here because they dig up small areas and fill everything back in instead of digging up the whole sewer line which would mean fixing sidewalks and driveway. Every employee of this company is great to deal with, and the owner is a good guy. They are nice, clean, and do a great job. I was very impressed with the amount of equipment that they have. They also ran into some problems that many sewer line repair companies would probably charge more for, but they stick to what they quote you. A big thank you to your whole company, I wish every plumbing company was this good to deal with!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from Applewood Plumbing. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and efficient!
We had been without hot water for three days, so when the plumber arrived, I was thrilled. He introduced himself, shook, my hand, and I led him to the laundry room. He checked out the hot water heater, and said it was fine, relit the pilot light, and checked my drains, finally deciding that there must have been a small clog in those lines that caused water to back up and put out the pilot light in the hot water heater. We tried to cause it to back up again by running the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time, but it wouldn’t back up. In the end, he said he wouldn’t charge me for the visit. I insisted, but he said that the visit didn’t warrant a charge. In the end, I gave up and told him that, because of the obvious integrity of the company, they would be my plumber from now on.
Their customer service is wonderful, they have integrity, and I will never use another company. Applewood Plumbing is awesome!

I would recommend Applewood Plumbing to anyone. They Re-​piped the gas lines in my new house and installed a new hot water heater. Mark first talked me though the entire process, letting me know the possible problems that might be encountered. He also kept me informed as the work was being done as to what was happening.
After the gas lines were inspected, Mark sent two of his techs to turn on the gas and install my new water heater. All his employees were polite and friendly. They got right to the job and didn’t waste any time. I will definitely call on Applewood for any future plumbing needs.

What a great company that treats you right and delivers it’s service with dignity to your door. Never have I had a complaint with Applewood and they’ve been helping out for years. When I called to make the appointment I was told they could have a plumber out the next day. I had plans to go out of town the next day so I told her the earlier they could come the better. They ended up coming first thing in the morning… what a nice surprise!
The plumber was very nice and showed me where my hot water heater was leaking. He replaced my old water heater with a new one. Prior to installing, I was informed/​shown that the new tank has a dent. They said they could replace it with a new one or take $ 50 off. I would have preferred a new tank but I was in a hurry to go out of town so I took the $ 50 off.

I live in and older home and needed one of my outside water faucets fixed. It hasn’t worked since I moved in but I noticed it was leaking and I couldn’t shut it off. I called Applewood Plumbing and Brady came out the next day. What should have been a relatively easy fix was not. He was in and out of the crawl space many times and basically busted butt. Now I have a working outside faucet for the first time. Brady did an excellent job!

They installed a new hot water heater for me over the weekend. The plumber recommended I put a water pressure reducer in. High water pressure was the cause of the water heater failure after only 2 years of service. Also put a new emergency shut off in. Did a very good job. Clean, professional, and friendly. Would use them again.

We had constant problems with tree roots growing into our main sewer line. Applewood Plumbing completed a sewer line replacement in just one day. They also installed a clean out device. They are great to work with. My only poor experience was with clean up. They left a large section of the old clay pipe behind. I could not put that out with the trash and it took a couple of calls before they came to pick it up. I have called them for many plumbing problems and this is the ONLY experience I have had that wasn’t top notch.

We were told by another company that we had a main water line break. Because the repair was going to be so expensive, we were in the process of gathering a few estimates of the cost to repair it.
Applewood wasn’t the first company we called but they were the first that showed up. They were able to identify another possible reason for the increase in our water bill, made a simple adjustment, and told us to just watch and see what the next water bill amount is before we do any sewer line repairs. It’s been over a month since the sewer inspection now, and we believe they were correct!
There are so many plumbing companies out there that would have taken advantage of our situation in order to get the job. But these guys were so professional and honest. We will recommend this company to everyone we know and we plan to use them in the future when we need plumbing services.

Amazing job! They were able to problem-​solve an issue I was having with my tankless water heater and install a new garbage disposal. My house is on the market, so I was eager to get the plumbing repairs done and really appreciate their service!

I had a Whirlpool water heater that was starting to leak — it was 4 ½ years old (with a 9 year warranty). Given the cost of replacing it with a no-​charge tank and its reputation I decided to get quotes on just installing a whole new water heater.
Brady from Applewood came out and checked the current water heater and gave me a quote. He explained the various brands of water heaters and their reputations and his recommendation. After some research I choose a Rheem and called Applewood back to setup the time for the install. They worked around my schedule, Brady showed up on time and installed my new water heater in just a few hours.

Brady replaced our very old garbage disposal. There were some issues with the pipe configuration, and he very efficiently and throughly repaired and replaced that as well.
There are so many good thing to list about Brady it’s hard to choose just a few! This is the second time we have used him; the first was to install a tankless water heater. He is courteous, friendly, prompt, fair and an overall pleasure to do business with. We finally feel like we have a plumber that we can trust… I won’t use anyone else. :)

They were awesome. Arrived on time, provided us with estimates, and stuck to their original estimates even when the scope of work turned out to be a little bit more involved than they had initially realized.
They fixed a leaky faucet, replaced some hose bibs outdoors, fixed the air switch on a jacuzzi tub that hadn’t worked for two years, and replaced a leaky shower pan. Once the demo on the shower pan was complete they realized they also had to replace the pea trap, which they did free of charge.
They were courteous, prompt, and fast. we haven’t had any further problems with anything that they have touched.
We had several bids from different plumbing companies for the same job, and we felt like the Applewood guys were more decisive and confident than other plumbing services we had consulted. The Applewood plumber that surveyed our home’s plumbing like an experienced clinician; he knew exactly where to look for access doors, wiring, etc. We showed other plumbers the jacuzzi tub access based on where we had seen Applewood looking; one of them told us we would need to have the whole tub removed and replaced until we told him that Applewood had found other access. Needless to say, we went with Applewood plumbing once we realized that he seemed to know what he was doing better than the other plumbing companies. Very happy with the service.

This is my second or third time using Applewood Plumbing, and they are great! We started to replace our old toilet and quickly discovered that we had a leak in the water valve. I called Applewood first thing on Monday morning, and they were able to send one of their plumbers out within an hour! Talk about fast!
The gentleman came a few minutes early, he got right to work and fixed the leaking valve and installed the new toilet. Since he was there, I asked him if he could look at a problem we were having with our hot water heater, he immediately saw what the problem was and was able to use a part that I had already to fix it. Every time Ive used Applewood, Ive always very happy with the whole experience. I will definitely be using your services when I have any plumbing issues!
