Brent Heflin Reality

I’m writing this review based on my experience with this property management company… I am/​was looking for an apartment in the Long Beach area and saw a for rent sign outside of an apartment on 3^rd, was told that the apartment I was calling about was rented but there was another available for immediate occupancy. This was awesome because this was the exact area I wanted to live in. I met with a friend of Brent who showed me the apartment… This was two weeks ago… I dropped off my application and application fee, copy of driver’s license, paystubs… mind you, these documents have all of my personal information, including my social security number and bank info! I was told by Brent’s friend to go through him because Brent is busy and let him get back to me… I’ve been calling and texting him and have been told the same thing, «Haven’t heard back from the owner», so now, apparently Brent is not the owner. Then I was told that the owner was on vacation and just got back into town (this was Monday) and he would let me know when he hears something… I saw the apartment on July 6^th, turned in my info on July 7^th and here we are… July 17^th! and I have to be out of my apartment on Saturday. This is extremely unprofessional and I understand that I am not buying a million dollar property but they sure are acting like I am… all of these for an apartment. I’m more concerned with the fact that I have NO idea with what is going on with my personal information! I most certainly do not recommend this company! I also just found out that there were complaints reported to the Better Business Bureau on this company earlier this year. I just want my information back.
