Got a great package deal with warranty for washer and dryer about 2 and a half years ago. NOW WASHER WONT DRAIN!!! Will call warranty company and hope they stand by their word. Will update you in the future.

I walked into Howard’s with the measurements of my Trash Compactor and handed them to the sales agent. I purchased the GE compactor for $ 898.00. My Kitchen was being updated replacing my cabinets with new doors. Howard’s called me to say the compactor was in, my contractor went and picked it up, and to our dismay, realized that this compactor was too large. Apparently GE doesn’t make a 12 inch compactor anymore. So I told them they ordered the wrong size. I need to exchange it, and there response was, sorry, we do not exchange or allow returns. I was surprised at the total lack of customer service, but they could not have cared less. I donated this to a family that could use it. Oh and by the way, I just replaced my Monogram refrigerator, Double oven, Monogram cooktop, and dishwasher. I will _​_​_​not _​_​_​ever walk into a Howard’s again!

I tried to buy a dishwasher from Lowes but their installers were terrible so I canceled the sale. I went to Howards — Laguna Niguel, CA location, bought a better dishwasher for a lower price than I could find on the internet and the installers were great. I asked them to show up at a certain time and they arranged the schedule to suit ME! It was a good experience at a great price.

Bought a washer from Howards on a saturday and they said it can be delivered on monday. Sunday night got a call saying the delivery will be made monday between 12pm. and 3pm. At 2:50pm, still no call so i called them. They couldn’t give me an answer except they said they should be there by 5pm. I got a call at 3:10pm saying it will be delivered within 1 hour. At 4:10pm, still no deliveries so i tried calling the salesman Ben, he doesn’t answer! What a good customer service!!! Gonna cancel my order. Will not buy anything from them!!! Btw, I gave 1star but that was even too much!!!

My boyfriend and I initially heard that Howard’s started carrying mattresses a few weeks back and since we have been in the market for a few months now, given our past easy experiences there, we thought we’d give it a try.
Super Bowl Sunday we get to Howards and are treated by a few workers. We go over to the bed section, which there is a large selection of, were greeted by Derek. He picked our brain and listened to our sleeping patterns, problems we have with our current mattress set. He went through the options, from memory foam, to spring, to hybrid and even the selection of adjustable bases (Which I have ALWAYS wanted but never thought I could afford). Anyway, we found one we fell in love with, along with the adjustable base to go with!!! We sat down and he got us financed within minutes; painless, comfortable process. Im not one to usually finance, but the deal was impossible to pass up.
Long story short, I wanted to wait a little while to review to give the mattress a real test. We found an AMAZINGLY comfortable mattress that we BOTH love, a cool adjustable base that got rid of my snoring completely (not to mention it vibrates and has this cool «G Spot» that puts you in a position that Derek says «Gives you the equivalent of 1 hour of body rest for 15 min. of laying. And it’s the position they launch astronauts into outer space in. Its pretty amazing), went though an easy finance and had amazing customer service from the time we walked into the store to the time we had the bed delivered. OH! Did I mention we got the be the NEXT DAY, and the installers were in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Ill be a life-​long customer at Howards and a lifetime sleeper of the Serta Bellagio Mattress!

We have purchased several appliances at Howards. The latest one purchased in 2013. An LG expensive refrigerator. I’ve been having issues with this fridge for the last few months. And 2 weeks ago it completely died. I have been left with a useless refrigerator. I have small children and no working refrigerator. I have had the WORST experience EVER!!! One excuse after another. I finally spoke to corporate this morning and STILL nothing has been done!!! Howards is «looking» for a loaner refrigerator. I’m so frustrated! I need a replacement ASAP! There is no sense of urgency on anyone’s part. FRUSTRATED!

Have had very positive experiences with this firm. When first moving into my new house chose Howards for a new Dishwasher. Opted for an extended service contract as this was 2013 and I didn’t have the expectation that my unit would last the 25+ years my first Whirlpool did. Great unit but did need to use the service contract. Since have purchased a very high end double convection oven, a fancy washing machine, a chest freezer, and now am about to accept delivery on a new stove top which they were gracious enough to hold for me as it was a Christmas present. With the exception of the dishwasher, have not spent more on service contracts. Had an issue with the Electrolux oven but it was under manufacturers warranty. Always good service, especially Randy, the installer, who is amazing.

Purchased new kitchen appliances here after several months we found the dishwasher did not fit Derek the manager made an exception and allowed us to bring it back even though we didn’t have the box. He saved the day, thank you very much customer service is so important, you made this customer happy I’ll be back again.

So far my dealings with this company hasn’t been anything but ridiculous. We have been shopping around for a stove and decided to go to Howard’s August 23, 2015. We spoke with a representative in the store about stoves and pulled up a specific stove we were interested in on our smartphone. We asked if we can order this stove from this store since it wasn’t on the showroom floor. She advised us she didn’t believe so. I said, are you sure because you do carry the name brand. The representative finally agreed to look into it and sure enough she could special order. We went ahead and started the ordering process and paid for the order in full (no deposit). We were briefed that it would take up to 10 business days before we expect it to arrive. I followed up at the 10^th business day and of course, they did not show it as «received» at there warehouse. I gave it another week and followed up again and they still did not show that the stove has arrived. I asked if there was anyway they could track the shipment and they let me know they could not. I found that hard to believe… so, I actually contacted the company that makes the products. I received a response back the following day that the only stove with my specific type was going to there west coast distributor the week of September 14. With that information, I waited to follow up with Howard’s until that week. When I did call Howard’s, they let me know they expect to have it at there warehouse Sept 18, 2015 and to wait for there phone call to schedule home delivery. I did not hear from them, so I called them and asked. They let me know again, it has not arrived and they didn’t have an answer. So, here we are now, the following day— I called them this morning and still no answer. The store is aware that I am upset that it has taken more then the normal 10 day waiting period and it is going on 25 days with no stove… But they do have my money for a stove I don’t have! This is ridiculous and DO NOT recommend Howard’s to anyone looking for an appliance or any other product for that matter…

After a TERRIBLE experience with Best Buy my husband and I decided to try Howard’s. Entering the store we were greeted by a smiling young lady who asked what we were looking for and directed us toward the TV area. Immediately Derek, the store manager, walked up and introduced himself. Derek helped us select a television appropriate for our needs. Most importantly there was no hard sell, no rushing us, no bashing certain less expensive brands and he patiently answered all our questions. Derek was extremely kind, even took us in a back room to show us the specific TV stand for the model we were interested in. My husband and I shared our awful experience at Best Buy and Derek assured us we would receive excellent customer service! And boy did he stay true to his word! That afternoon we purchased a Samsung 60″ Smart TV and it was delivered free of charge the next morning at 8:30 a.m. Our previous TV had already been disposed of but he did offer to haul the old TV away free of charge. The delivery team set up our TV and the picture was beautiful and extremely clear. After they left we successfully connected our TV to the Internet but we could not get the Smart TV function to work. Via telephone our cable company checked all connections and rebooted our router making sure everything was working properly. I telephoned the store, spoke with Derek and he arrived at our home within 15 minutes to personally help set up the Smart TV app. He even walked us through not only Smart Hub but also all the other different functions of the television. I have never had such wonderful and personal service!!! If you’re tired of being treated as just a number at places like Best Buy give Howard’s a try!!! This store has ALL our future business!!! Thank you Derek for a wonderful shopping experience and reminding us in today’s world there are still people who care about making the customer happy!

The customer service and ease of purchasing was not bad. Delivery went well; however, soon after receiving our fridge it began making several different obnoxious noises. I could hear the fridge in my bedroom (across the house) with the door closed. Obviously something was wrong. 1^st time out they said water leaks into the fan, then freezes «so when this happens you just need us to come out.» All fine and dandy, but what about when my warranty expires? Then I will have to pay to get it cleaned out because I was delivered a faulty fridge.
Additionally, they have come out 3 – 4 other times due to more unrelated issues, such as the compressor, the ice bucket only delivering crushed iced, the ice chamber filling the freezer with «snow», having to order other replacement parts, having to order pads for the compressor. Honestly, I can’t read a lot of the technicians writing to be able to say everything, but those are a few things I saw on their notes.
We were told the last time they came out it would be the last time. But, nope. We had to call again this week, and they want to send another tech out. On numerous occasions (nearly every call) we have told them when we are available and they have scheduled us for different times, and only switch us back to what was originally discussed when we threaten a charge-​back on the credit card due to this ridiculousness.
Like I said, in the store, they were great. I, however, will never do business with such an unprofessional company again.

I realized that I go to Best Buy or Frys without thinking. So, I thought, why not look at another chain? I did. Prices were higher. No loyalty points, like the Best Buy Rewards program. Took forever to find help who was unknowledgable but was friendly. I guess I’ll go back to Best Buy.

Ok, so here’s a update on my new washer and dryer. They were delivered and OMG. worse delivery people ever (dropped my washer) except the ones that came the next day that my husband threw off our property (dented my dryer). I’m still giving Howards 5 stars because they made up for the horrible delivery company they use. When all was said and done. my new washer and dryer needed to be replaced. Manager Derek was so apologetic and bent over backwards to make us happy. CHANGE DELIVERY COMPANY!

I’ve bought 2 ranges, an over-​the-​range microwave, and a dishwasher from Howard’s in the last 7 years (2 ranges was because we moved, not because of any product defect). They’ve matched or beaten the big guys’ prices and all I had to do was ask – no haggling and no sales associate mind games here! I also liked that they had my microwave and dishwasher in stock, so we were all set to get those installed right away. Tim was especially helpful and efficient during our last purchase. When our beloved refrigerator bites the dust, I’ll definitely give Howard’s a shot at my next appliance purchase as well.

Just bought a fridge two days ago and I priced them out on the internet and went to four different stores. It came down to Howard’s and Sears. Sears had a super special but Howard’s matched it.
I’m a sucker for good service and Miguel at Howard’s really took care of me. I bought it from Howard’s and not Sears because of his great service. He even helped me get it delivered quickly.
Was my first time at Howard’s but I’ll definitely go there next time for my next appliance purchase.

Came here with my wife to pick up a fridge for our new apartment. I was bracing myself for some sleazy sales person who was going to do whatever he could to get a sale from us before leaving the door.
Sure enough, the second we walked in (to a store that felt much smaller than other Howards I’ve seen) a gentleman approached us and quickly showed us over to the refrigerator section.
I explained to him that I found a fridge on Best Buy and Lowe’s websites and I just wanted to see if they could beat their prices. Turns out that they couldn’t beat either store’s Labor Day sales… and they were going to charge for delivery for the fridge that would otherwise be free delivery at other locations.
Well, after some wheeling and dealing, we were able to get a display fridge that was nicer than the one we had been looking at for around the same price as Best Buy AND the guy threw in free delivery. So, it all worked out in the end.
So, I would say Howards might not have the best prices around, but at least they’re able to come up with compromises to make everyone happy. That’s what made me happy. It was a quick, painless experience and we walked out of there getting something better than what we were originally expecting to buy.

I went to purchase a new refrigerator with my parent’s today. We were helped by a wonderful women named Jody. She was Kind and the went extra mile to ensure that we experienced an excellent service at Howards.
Jody is wonderful and very knowledgeable in her field. My parent’s was so impressed that they have decided come back and purchase appliances at Howards in the near future.

0 stars! I stopped by and hope to check out any micro window units for air conditioning. Number one you only carry one brand of AC unit and number two you don’t even carry the smallest one of the AC unit that you do have.

I have bought numerous tv’s and a few microwaves and several dvd players from Howards, and never been in the store. I do the purchasing at work, and this is our vendor we must use for this sort of thing.
They are a bit pricey — I could spend a third of my budget if they would just let me buy at Walmart. But, I have no say in that. Doing business with them over the past many years has NOT ever caused me to buy a personal item here. Too pricey.
The shipping is quick, and they are reliable, so I say Howard’s is A-​OK. Especially since I am not personally paying for this stuff.

There’s something about the name «Howard’s» because it is such an old store and has been around for ages!
Most Howards I go to are hard to find and in some weird rental space…
The feeling of the store is always mundane and the salespersonnell are all the same. Not super friendly. nor super helpful! There always standing around together chatting and watching sports… (more like a hangout place if you ask me).
Lastly, their prices are not the best and products are limited.
