Michael D. Waks graduated from the State University of Albany in New York in 1978. He received his JD from Southwestern University School of Law in 1982. He immediately opened up his own Law Firm and has been representing seriously injured accident victims ever since.

Mr. Waks has been awarded an AV Rating by Martindale Hubbell which is the highest rating that entity can award and means that Mr. Waks’ legal skills are «very high to preeminent «and that he also «exhibits the highest professional and ethical standards.» He has also been selected as a «2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Southern California Super Lawyer.» He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Club.

Mr. Waks is the Principal at The Law Office of Michael D. Waks. He personally handles each and every case that the Firm takes on. The Firm motto is «I take your Injuries Personally» and I mean it. My clients mean everything to me and I do not let Insurance Companies take advantage of them.

I graduated from SUNY Albany where I received my BA and then went to Law School at Southwestern University while also working full time as a Law Clerk in a big Insurance Defense Firm where I learned exactly what I did NOT want to do. It was that experience that convinced me to represent the interests of injured individuals against corporations and insurance companies. I have never regretted that decision.

I would give him six stars as my attorney, Micheal represented me on a personal injury case. Riding my bicycle on May 23, 2014 a car struck me causing me to fly over the vehicle landing on my right shoulder. Fortunately a specialist was able to restore my right shoulder although it will never be the same. I am pleased with the settlement awarded to me and highly recommend Mr. Waks to anyone faced with any legal issues. His professionalism and the way he treated a pure pleasure.
