History

Established in 1966.

Our law firm has a long and rich history in Southern California. Perona, Langer, Beck, Serbin, Mendoza and Harrison was originally established in the early 1960’s. In 1966 Jim Perona hired Major Langer, who in turn expanded the firm’s practice areas. Mr. Langer was instrumental in developing the firm’s commercial business and expanded the general civil litigation department.

In the late 70’s Ron Beck joined the firm as an associate. In the 80’s the firm continued to handle some insurance defense work, but turned its attention to plaintiffs’ personal injury and other kinds of contingency fee civil litigation. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s the firm concentrated its practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury work and general civil litigation.

Today, Perona Langer represents severely injured plaintiffs in personal injury cases, has an employment law division representing workers who have claims for wages, overtime, discrimination and harassment.
