Doctor is good. He knows what he is doing. I had to go to him (a very close friend and a family member of the doctor’s referred him) for an eye infection and I got rid of it with a prescription from him. He helped me with my budget too, my insurance doesn’t pay much on my prescriptions so he wrote one that would heal my eyes and go easy on my purse. Today I picked up my new glasses and while I need to still take time to get used to them — I am very pleased with the way they came out. I am also very happy with the staff he has, each are on the ball and are very helpful, and also very patient.

I went in today after 2 years to renew my prescription and get new glasses. Honestly I was expecting radical changes in staff and service as I usually always do at health care offices and such. When I got there I was greeted sweetly by the same girl who worked there two years ago. And there was also a new girl who was real caring and sweet as well. That’s so important to me. Good customer service. I waited for about fifteen minutes in which I also picked out my new glasses and which they helped me pick out the ones which were covered. I went in to see the doctor and he is GREAT! The exam was thorough but quick. He cared about how I was doing every step of the way. Also had conversation about other than the eye exam which puts his patient at ease and comfortable with him. I highly recommend this place. Check it out!

For contacts and lenses for glasses than Others I’ve used. His front desk help is truly outstanding. Especially the blonde hair young woman who seems to handle most of the admin stuff — I can’t recall her name– very sharp minded, but she has great people-​skills also. Friendly staff.

Dr. Pham has been my optometrist for at least 5 years, so clearly I like him. He and his staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. They do a good job at explaining my options.
The location is convenient as well. I also appreciate the office’s hours of operation.

This was my first time going to an actual eye doctor. Usually I go to Costco, but I recently got insurance. So I decided to try it out. I had gone there a day before to make a appointment. The place is pretty nice and clean. The girl, Evette, helped me out and gave me a price on how much everything was with my insurance. Made an appointment for the next day. Which is a lot faster than my usual place. Dr. Pham is the optometrist who helped me out. Super chill guy. It didn’t take long at all. If you’re looking for a place to get contacts and exams, I recommend this place. Everyone is super friendly and it’s inexpensive. Especially if you’re low on a budget. And they would gladly work it out with you even if you don’t have insurance. Check it out yourself! :)

A++ doctor, excellent staff, ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend! Receptionist who answered the phone was super friendly and checked my insurance within minutes. Made an appointment for a Saturday and she told me I might have to wait as they were really full. When I got there, I was seated in the exam room as soon as I was done filling out the new patient form – not even five minutes had passed. :)
Last time I had my eyes checked, they told me I was at risk for glaucoma, but Dr. Pham re-​tested and reassured me I was fine. Phew. My insurance covered most of the cost, but he made excellent recommendations so that I can get good quality glasses without hiking up the price. He even gave me a discount on the frames, which was awesome!
I don’t live far from here so it is convenient, and I’ve walked by so many times without even thinking about going in, but I’m so glad I did! Pretty much the best eye doctor I’ve been to. Thanks Dr. Pham!

Last week was my second time visiting Dr. Pham. I was long overdue for an eye exam and needed a new pair of glasses and contacts. I called in prior to coming in for an exam to ask if they could take me without an appointment. The receptionist said it was fine and then asked me if I had insurance. I currently have VSP. She then verified my insurance and told me that I was good to go.
I live less than 10 minutes away so it did not take long to get there. There is only metered street parking since the place is in Downtown Long Beach, so remember to bring some quarters!
I was immediately greeted as soon as I got there. The ophthalmic assistant at the desk asked me for my last name and before I knew it, I was already sitting in one of the exam rooms waiting to be seen by Dr. Pham! All kinds of win.
After waiting about five minutes, Dr. Pham was in the room and the exam was underway. It was quick! He gave me very honest recommendations on which options I had to try and save more money. I opted to use my insurance towards the eye glasses exam and eye glasses, instead of using it towards my contacts. I am actually blind as a bat and my eye glasses require high-​indexed frames. Originally, I wanted to take the cheap route and just get whichever plastic lenses my insurance covered. Dr. Pham advised me that I should probably get the high-​indexed lenses because it would be more attractive. He was right, I would have been walking around with coke bottle lenses. Perhaps it would have been a little too retro. HA!
Dr. Pham said he would give me a 20% discount off the glasses and will throw in the ultraviolet ray protective coating if I got the high-​indexed lenses. Prior to this place I was never offered a discount so I decided to go with it.
I spent about 10 minutes walking around the place looking for my new frames and decided to go with a pair of matte black Guess frames. The entire process took less than thirty minutes.
They told me it would take about a week to get the glasses back in from the lab. It took six days including the weekend which was great! I could not have been more satisfied with my overall experience and newly prescribed glasses.

This is a fantastic office with a wonderful staff.
Dr. Pham, in addition to being a professional and highly competent optometrist, also provides exemplary customer care. Event though I have moved to another state, and faced an impossibly complicated situation with my health insurance, Dr. Pham has consistently provided help with resolving every issue.

Wonderful people and excellent service!
After having a bad experience at another local optometrist, I decided to stop in at Quality Eye Care to have my exam done again with them. Yvette went out of her way to help me talk to my insurance company and got them to allow another eye exam for free (even though I had already used my allowance of 1 for the year). Dr. Pham took me in for my appointment right on time, was friendly and professional. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I originally overlooked them because they weren’t as ‘big’ as the other place. Don’t make the same mistake! Make this your first stop. Can’t wait for my glasses to arrive!

They were able to take me very last minute and at the end of their day. Not only were they fast but they were helpful and nice. Can’t wait to get my new glasses!

Dr. Pham is very professional. He genuinely cares for all of his patients, super friendly, and most importantly… takes his time to explain the condition (s) of your eyes. After my first visit with Dr. Pham, I don’t think I would go anywhere else for my eye care. My son recently got his vision test done by Dr. Pham as well and he too was very comfortable under his care. I would recommend this office to everyone in need of a good honest optometrist.

I came here to look at frames only. I wasn’t very impressed by the selection they had, especially with them not having Ray Bans or Oakleys. I spent no longer than 1 minute inside the store before I left.

I’ve seen Dr. Pham twice, for both glasses and a contact lens exam. He is professional, friendly, quick and takes the time to explain the condition of your eyes. I had a lot of questions with one of my prescriptions, he was very helpful. Turn around time for glasses and contacts were both quick!
I had to pay more than usual for contacts than I had in past years, I have really good vision insurance and never been charged based on my prescrption, so I wasn’t thrilled when he said I had to pay again. But the service is good.

This is my second visit with Dr. Pham. He’s a great doctor; social, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He likes to use the best lenses, not the most popular (like Acuvue), which I really appreciate. I’m wearing monthly lenses and I absolutely love them. Not to mention they have the best fit of any lenses I’ve worn.
I will definitely be going going back for my next check up!
