Went in yesterday after calling and making an appointment for a full set and pedicure with David. My full set is PERFECT! David is a perfectionist and is really good at his job. He’s quick and very precise. He did my full set with minimal filing, they are all the same shape and even, no lumps. He is also very friendly and funny.
The reason I only give 4 stars is because I made an appointment for a pedicure as well but was shuffled over to get my full set first and once it was done, all of the pedicure chairs were filled and the wait was more than 30 minutes, so I wasn’t able to get my pedicure done. Typically when I go to a salon for both services they are done at the same time for efficiency purposes. I really wish I could have had both done, But I will definitely be back to see David in 2 weeks!

I got my acrylics done here for the first time, by Mimi! The store is small and modest, but it’s clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming and friendly as well. Mimi was very patient with me, since I’m very picky with my nails. I’m very satisfied and I’ll definitely be coming back!

First time here and I love how my nails came out. Ask for Cindy. She was awesome. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did them perfect. They close at 7. She stayed late till after 8 taking care of me. Thanks Cindy. I will be back for sure

My sister and I just got done doing our nails here. We got seated right away. Very friendly. I just got gel, but my nails were not filed down, i can see the ruffles on my nails. My sister got acrylics with coffin nails and were also not filed nicely.

Just leaving Quality Nails Spa and I must say I was impressed! I found them courtesy of Unilocal and saw that Mimi’s work was very clean and consistent. I called for a same day appt and they said they could take me in an hour. On a Saturday! When i got there, 5 mins late, mind you, Mimi was waiting for me even though the shop was crowded and people were waiting. Many other nail techs would have given my appt away to take a walk in, so i was already grateful. She did exactly what i wanted, the length i wanted, all the while telling other techs what to do and she’s over 8 months pregnant! Superwoman, i tell you! The design was perfect and so was the service. The price was even better! Fill stiletto set, 6 designs and gel for 40! She’s great and I’ll be back soon. Thanks Mimi!

I just moved to Long Beach about a couple months ago and I’ve been looking for a new nail salon. After reading several reviews I decided to check this place out. I had no appointment and walked in an hour before they closed and asked for a full set and pedicure. Some places would have said no because the services would exceed past closing time. However, Mimi welcomed me with open arms and said okay.
Speaking of Mimi I must say she’s has to be the life of this salon because she is hilarious. But at the same time very professional and it shows in her work! Just look at my fabulous ombré set I will definitely be back.
PS: I read some reviews about the quality of there work and if you ever dislike something let them know. I told Mimi I didn’t like how my diamond was placed and she fixed it without questions asked. If that’s not professional I don’t know what is.

Planned on coming here for a while & tried it out for the first time today. I loved it! The lady helping me, (I didn’t get her name) was really nice and helpful when I told her how I wanted my nails. Their prices aren’t too bad either. My only suggestion would be to make an appointment because they get busy. Other than a little bit of a wait i loved this place! They even have stamp cards.

First time at this nail shop and it was a nice experience. My pedicure was relaxing and thorough and my full set turned out awesome. Thanks to David! He’s the tits. If you want a bomb full set I would def ask for him. I have read that Mimi is awesome too, and I wouldn’t doubt it. She was really nice too. That’s another thing about this place is everyone is very welcoming and nice. I’ll definitely be coming back.

After reading some positive reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I was beyond disappointed with the service and work. the girl that did my nails didn’t really talk to me just kept asking if I wanted a flower design on my nails and asking why I didn’t want one. After she finished my nails she left my hands under the UV light to dry and never came back, I waited for about 15 mins and finally just asked the person next to me if they could find her so that I could pay and leave. My nails weren’t cleaned up properly and the nail polish wasn’t even.

Tracy did my gel manicure and my nails look and feel amazing. You know how the gel can sometimes collect at the cuticles, and as a result it lifts within a few days? Well, Tracy’s technique is pristine, no gel collecting at my cuticles, she took the time to clean up my cuticles and moisturize them as well. There’s not one single area that missed polish nor dents or unevenness. Obviously, I’m very picky about my nails — I can’t help it. I tipped extra just because its hard to find someone that’s this good. The gel manicure cost me $ 20 total. I will definitely be back.

Just left this Nail place and i went there because it had a 4.5 stars, I got ombré style. HORRIBLE Job. Never again. Now I gotta go spend more money somewhere else to get them fix. Wow. Completely disappointed.
Another lady before me wasn’t happy either with the job she got so she came back to get them redone and get her money back and to top it off she was overcharged $ 20 wow.

First of all, I would like to say that David is a miracle worker. He was able to fix a huge mistake that another shop made on my nails. Le did a wonderful job on my feet. The Unilocal reviews were very accurate because this shop did a great job!

This review is definitely overdue.
I go here almost as often as I go grocery shopping, you know, but in the nail maintenance sense.
I had an emergency issue, long after my fill was needed (this is like 3 weeks plus, folks) I broke a nail at work and had to call to see if she could see me after I got off work at 6pm. She said yes, and when I got there after 6pm, the staff was already really busy but stayed to make sure we were all taken care of even after closing time. I definitely appreciated that — especially because it was in the middle of the week and dipping my finger deeper in my keyboard at work was throwin’ me off.
I always get compliments when I get my flashy nails here and even if they’re plain stilettos, I get compliments on the shape and nail color.
The music is great here, too. Sometimes they have movies playing because you know, this aspect is SOOOOOOOOOOO important when choosing a nail place…
But in all seriousness, if I could recommend anything about Quality Nails, I’d recommend:
–trying it out period if you’re looking for a nail place in Long Beach.
–CALLING to make an appointment before coming in. This would save you an extra 30 min to an hour wait as a walk-​in.

I came here a few times and am finally posting my review. Unless you’re getting acrylics or something fancy, they will let their most inexperienced person help you. I always get a French manicure on my nails and a regular pedi. No gel or acrylics. The one I got a few days ago is already chipped and gone. Seriously?!? It actually started chipping once I got home.
The lady that helped me messed up countless times for a simple French manicure. I had to ask her to fix multiple nails because the lines were uneven and messy. When doing my toes she kept ripping out my skin, making the pedicure anything but relaxing.
She was rushing and going super fast. After observing her for some time, I realized she kept looking over at her coworker, wanting to finish faster than her. I feel as if they rush through clients to get to the next one in order to get tip.
Overall, I am disappointed in this place and would only suggest coming here if you are getting acrylics or you request a certain person.

My favorite and best spot to go to!
I was looking for a local place and I found it! Everyone– including Mimi, Mina and Le have been so good I could never complain!
I can bring in any design of how I want my nails and they are on spot! Please go here if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

Low price for my gel mani but it chipped in less than a day. Not happy about that. Gel mani’s should last at least 2 weeks. My previous gel from a different salon in Texas lasted almost 3 weeks. They fixed it but I had to wait and be inconvenienced for something that shouldn’t have happened. I’m not coming back here.

I usually go to the swapmeet but I decided I needed to change the place. I chose quality nail because of the reviews and location. I got there when it opened so there wasn’t a wait. Immediately I was seated and my pedicure was started then Nina came and started on my fill and 2 nail change. She took her time with me and showed me where the other nail shop did wrong. She has soft hands and was very gentle. She advised me on getting a new set to replace the old one from the prior shop. I asked for a design with the 3d flower and she said of course which put me at ease because the other shop said my nails was too small.
I will be coming back. I paid 68 for fill, 2 nail change, gel mani and pedi, matte and design. Good price for getting everything I wanted. Ask for Nina she will take time and take care of you. She said, beauty takes time so I take time for you. She’s great!

Mina was THE BEST. She was super personable and didn’t try and make awkward small talk like other places I have been to. We actually had a really nice conversation and my nails looked terrific. Go to her you won’t regret it!
Also, their bathroom smells and looks CLEAN. They take their implements directly from the autoclave so there’s no cross contamination of instruments. I don’t doubt that if the state came in they would pass with flying colors!
The only suggestion I have is to get more gel colors! ;)
