Found this spot through Unilocal and omg did they do an amazing job! Love the whole gentlemen ambiance they create here. My son is so picky with his haircut and hates doing his hair. Anthony was my son’s barber and man he did such a great job. He was patient and understood exactly the haircut my son needed since my son is lazy to comb his hair. Anthony took his time and it’s always nice when you feel welcomed. I know nothing about haircuts and he went above and beyond by taking a moment to explain haircuts to me and son so we know how to comb it. Thank you again Anthony we look forward to our next appt!

Forgot all about this place, but then Sergio felt the need to be passive aggressive in a comment yesterday. It’s weird. One star for being weird about a negative review that’s over 9 months old.

All these chaps are awesome. I particularly like Sergio he’s always solid, and cuts are on point. Very professional, great conversation. Just an all around awesome local Barber Shop!!!

It’s always a great experience coming here, I actually go back and forth from here and Razorbacks down the street because my schedule doesn’t always work with the certain people I like to get my haircut from, I go here for Anthony, and I know I’ll always get a great cut, with a cool guy to make me feel comfortable at the same time. I really recommend this place!

Was referred to by a friend after looking for a new barber shop, and I wasn’t disappointed. Chill place, 25 was a bit steep but they did a nice job. Will go back again.

Very pleased with my cut from Constancio. I specifically requested him and left confident with this style I have never tried. He took his time and paid attention to detail and also suggested styling tips and which products worked best. The whole vibe and atmosphere is really cool here and laid back. I haven’t been in a barbershop in a while, since I would always get my cut from my friend, so I thought it was time for a change. The place is really close to where I work, so I called in for an appointment to get a haircut. The atmosphere here is awesome, and all the guys here are cordial and talkative. I got my cut from Robert, and I think he did a good job on my hair. I didn’t really give him too much to go on off, but he still managed to make my hair look amazing.
TL;DR If you’re looking for a top-​notch barbershop with barbers who make you feel at home, this is the one for you. My haircut cost $ 25, which is a little pricey, but it’s better than paying $ 30 or more at any other shop.

Tyler your man if you want a fade or classic hair cut. Overall this place is hip, friendly, and professional. If you have high standards this place will do nicely.

I took my fussy high school-​er to The Lodge. Tyler spent A LOT of time with Alex, making sure he was happy with his new ‘do. Additionally, he showed him different styling options, which is very helpful, because you know he’s not going to listen to his mom! ;)
HIs haircut has grown out nicely and we’re going back this weekend.

Live in SF and was down in long beach visiting my brother. Had been traveling for a month and needed a haircut desperately. My brother gets his hair cut at the lodge and suggested I check it out. Called the morning of and was able to schedule an appointment.
Robert cut my hair and was really nice and personable. In addition to that, he paid close attention to detail throughout the entire cut and took his time even when there was a long line of people waiting. This is unusual coming from SF. I’m used to getting rushed in and out so it was a nice change.
I’d highly recommend the lodge and Robert to anyone that’s looking to to get their hair cut and find a barbershop that genuinely takes time to cater to each customer.

Where do I begin? Best hair cut experience I’ve ever had. These guys are the coolest around and they know how to cut with the best of them!
I walked in today and was greeted at the door and a minute later I was in the chair and on my way to an awesome haircut.
Anthony gave me the cut I didn’t know I wanted until I saw it. He really took his time to give me an awesome look.
I love the laid back, fraternal feeling these guys give off doing their art while discussing topics from here to the horizon. Make no mistake though, they cut no corners when it comes to hair. After Anthony was done, all the guys complimented Anthony on his work and some even came over to check it out because I looked so different (I had lots of hair on the top and other weird things going on; don’t DIY your hair unless you’re a pro) than before.
The post-​cut massage was awesome and the hot towel shave was something I’ve never experienced but nonetheless a welcome surprise. I will be coming back for a follow up and to buy some of their hair products.

I did my first walk in to a barber shop. I am not the typical barber clientele. Firstly, I’m a woman, secondly, I’m a chemo patient. I’m losing my hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. I had already buzzed my hair down, but even then, it was starting to get thin and patchy. I decided to go to a professional to get a razor cut and take all the hair off.
I did a walk in on a Thursday afternoon. The entire salon was full, but after explaining my personal situation, Sergio agreed to take me. I really liked Sergio’s demeanor. He has a deep but quiet voice. His friendly, calm manner put me at ease immediately. He walked me thru the steps of everything he was going to do.
This was a 1^st class pamper experience of the head! Women… we are totally missing what a relaxing experience it can be with the hot towels, menthol rub, head and shoulder massage. It was heavenly!
Sergio’s was totally a professional… and made my head shaving experience, one of my highlights of my chemo week. Thank you Sergio for being part of my healing journey! In addition, the salon was very clean– that is always a biggie for me.
So I say to women patients… this is a safe, friendly and welcoming place to shave your head. If you are a woman, and want a pamper place… this is bang for your buck! And if your guys are needing a good referral… tell them to go here… they will look and feel good!

Great haircuts by Anthony. Awesome fades. The ladies love it, and I’m always happy leaving this place.
The barbers here are cool guys, but not coolguys. Much better attitude and atmosphere than other shops on the same street.
Customer service and products are top notch.

Tyler, the sculptor, has it handled when it comes to a great haircut. And it’s full service.
Greeted at the door, asked what I would like to drink – bourbon, whiskey, or a how about a beer? No charge for the beverage, by the way; mice to see there are still generous owners. Every barber in the place has a full beard, aka a full-​commitment to his craft.
Seated, asked how I’ve been, anything new, and then about how I want my hair cut. It’s people first at the Lodge. Then, Tyler let’s me talk while he expertly crafts the best hairstyle this side of Paris. Finishes with a shoulder massage, straight edge neck shave, a generous application of bay rum aftershave (smells like cloves), and puts it all in line with a pomade shine.
All that, and it’s still way too easy to get an appointment. So, come here for your next haircut. But don’t f*#% it up and tell everyone.

Though not a barber myself, I know a thing or two about barbershops. I was looking for a new barber, and read great things about The Lodge on here. So I decided to give it a try. And boy was I impressed.
I got my haircut by Tyler, who is a great barber. He pays great attention to detail and I completely trust him with my hair now.
But what really stands out to me is the place and the other barbers yourself. They have all known each other for quite some time and are all friends, which means the conversations you have with whoever is cutting your hair will be overheard by the others on the shop, and it turns into a great group conversation. I love it her and I’m proud to call this place my new barbershop.
Plus they use this massage thing on your shoulders when they finish cutting your hair which feels like an angel is giving you a massage. Amazing.

My head sucks. Just ask your dad. I’m kidding. But, yeah, there’s not much you can do with my head. My forehead keeps sliding closer and closer to the bald spot, which Tyler nicely called my «Cowlick». Yeah, a cow licked it ’til it was bald.
So it was a nice surprise when after the friendly conversation with the whole room (it was like a Barbershop movie but with white bearded people) and the hot towel and the refreshing beverage and the talcum powder I discovered I had a perfect haircut.

Awesome Barbershop with a Badass Crew! Love coming over to hang out and getting my haircut; not just because the haircut is always Tits but the atmosphere these guys provide is cool.
Like any of you, Ive been to many a barber shop/​hair salon. Only this place gets my hair and shave perfect 100% of the times. In fact, I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair since switching to Sergio!
