Established in 2015.
Why Knot? Party Cruises was established in March of 2015, after buying the Star from Star Party Cruises in Alamitos Bay.
The new owners are husband and wife team Travis and Angel, who have a passion for the sea, boating, hospitality and fun! Their family and friends help run the boat and business, making every party as personal as possible, and their guests feel cared for and at ease.

Business Owner
Travis and Angel Johnson are the husband and wife team who decided to take a leap and buy a 1940’s party charter boat. With their background in hospitality and online marketing, and love of the ocean, boating, adventure, and people, they plunged forward with their family and friends to build the business. The crew’s eager-to-please, friendly, and fun attitudes have helped build Why Knot? Party Cruises hold successful, exciting, memorable, and unique party cruises.
