It’s not a fancy place, but my nails look great! They close at 8 pm, but they took me at 7:45. And the price is very competitive. I got a gel manicure for $ 25. I’m coming back.

Terrible place, and very unsanitary — DON’T GOHERE. Total rip-off, they also charged $ 40 for a regular mani-pedi. Very dissapointed you are better off if you go to the place under the City Building which is more sanitary and they charge $ 21 for a mani-pedi combo.

Price list. $ 17 pedi not bad. $ 18 fill in not bad. $ 5 to remove my nail polish before a fill in??? $ 3 to file down my nail before a fill in??? $ 4 nail repair reasonable But to go into a nail place like this meaning it’s not the best place it’s not top notch it’s the kind of place you go in not expecting bells & whistles just your standard corner(or center street) nail place I’ve been here before & was charged $ 75 for a fill in & «spa» pedicure and was hesitant about going back but I needed the nail repair I said it before & I’ll say it again never again I don’t care if it’s the only nail place in sight it’s ridiculous ended up paying a grand total of $ 50 for a fill in /one nail repair & pedicure never again for the second time. Nickel & dimming people is not the way to go. Stay away from this rat hole

One of the worst nail salons I’ve ever been to. I came here out of desperation one day for a gel manicure. My first impression was that the owner was cranky and the interior was not the cleanest and in need of an update. Whatever, though. I needed a mani and could get past this. The UV lamp to dry my gel manicure was this tiny plastic thing that my whole hand could not fit into. There was a fly buzzing around the whole time. My manicurist did not apply a top coat(despite me asking her to), and my GEL manicure was chipped within days. Not cool. When my nails were dry, there was polish on one of my fingers and I asked my manicurist to clean it up. She proceeded to take a cuticle cutter to my finger to SCRAPE it off. OWWWW! Needless to say, I will not be back. For the same price($ 30), I’ll go to better salons.

Today my wife asked me to write about a secret place in LIC, and it is really the kind of tip you can only get from a long time resident of LIC. Just to warn you: It is not about the place, or about their services for mani/pedi, that both of us never have tried(and probably never will). The place is located by the E-train and quite frankly from outside not appealing at all. But hidden inside there is Claudia. Claudia, is a hair stylist that has been working there forever, she is young passionate and most of all, she is the secret queen of Blow dries and hair cut in LIC. My wife has been using a services by recommendation of one of her client and since then regularly(almost too frequently). For me quite cool, instead of waiting for hours for her when she was going to the city. I could not count how many of her clients she sent to her and all of them were happy(100% satisfaction rate is rare enough to mention). And the best for the last her prices are really accordingly to the salon she works in :) that it does not even make sense to invest in shampoo and conditioner any longer. Was this review ???

I came here because I was desperate. One of my nails broke while I was at work and the nail polish came off. So, I typed in nail salon and this was the only one in the area. I was the only one at the time in the salon and there was only one woman there for the day. Apparently, there’s one woman that does tips for the salon that was on vacation so two young ladies who came in were turned away. Just an FYI. The salon itself was… Decent. But it definitely could of been more sanitary. She took out a set of nail tools in this old metal tin that didn’t look all that clean looking, luckily she didn’t end up using them on me. All I wanted was a manicure. She made one of my nails slightly bleed because she was filing so aggressively. The broken nail, she did not shape it or file it correctly. The paint job was pretty bad. Not the worse, but I still had some paint on my fingers that bothers me. Main point, I would not go back here. Even if I had another desperate situation. The manicure is a step above a at home manicure that I could of done myself. Prices are decent. I paid $ 7 plus tip.

It’s not fancy but I’ve been coming to this same place for years. Michelle is fantastic + does amazing nails + eyelashes. Everyone compliments me on both. It’s clean + sanitary. Also Claudia, the hairstylist, is phenomenal + does everything. She’s the only one I trust + I’ve been with her for years.

Terrible. Do not go here! Yes their prices are cheap but at the expense of pain and infection. I went there bc of the great price reviews and came home with an open wound on 1 finger and a nail infection on the other finger. While cutting my cuticles the nail lady took out a big chunk of skin above my nail and when it started to bleed she didn’t say sorry but instead she threw on some unknown blue liquid. When I asked what it was she said it was«professional medicine» The next day I start having swelling on another finger and sure enough the area around the nail is infected. Needless to say I won’t be going back. The extra few dollars elsewhere are well worth avoiding a bleeding finger and an infection.

Pretty good place, but honestly they need to be a little more sanitary. The person who did my nails probably was their first time(male). I went for a simple manicure, since I was doing work around the house and as soon I got in there, the lighting was very dim $ 10.00 for a manicure pretty steep if you ask me! Staff was pretty okay, I guess I’m just use to a different type of environment, If you need something in and out for emergencies for a GUY then you’ll be fine. I see they also do HAIR there so females take advantage of that, the«Hair Stylist» looks like she knows what she was doing, the majority of customers waiting there were really not there for their nails, they were for their hair. I even saw walk-ins coming in and getting denied, keep in mind I was only there for 20minutes.

$ 7 manicures /$ 15 pedicures…$ 20 for both! That’s the kinda prices I’m looking for in LIC. Fantastic nail polish selection. Save your spine & skip using the massage features on the pedicure chairs. I have very simple criteria for getting my nails did: 1) I heart great hole-in-the-wall nail places with the fab mani/pedi special price 2) I cannot stand paying exhorbrant +$ 20 for a simple manicure 3) Get me in, get my nails did without drawing blood, and I’m yours. Fyi: I bring my own nail tools, and you should too — but I’d do that for any nail establishment. It’s the only hygienic way.
