Precision Collision

Repaired my car almost two years ago, following a stupid accident. Precision Collision came recommended, so I dropped my car there. A month later, I got my car back looking brand new. The only minor niggles I had were that the front fender somehow came loose and misaligned. Secondly, the repairer did not clean the excess masking in the door jamb, both issues quickly and easily fixed.
Fast forward almost two years, to now – suddenly, my power windows and locks have stopped working. It was found the wiring harness for my driver’s side door was broken, the connector damaged. At no time was I advised of this by Precision Collision – not happy.

Precision Collision was a DREAM to work with! I (through no fault of my own) hit a support beam in a parking garage. I have USAA insurance, and after reading Google reviews, I decided to take my car to Precision Collision. I’m glad I did! Between them and USAA, I had to make ONE call on my own. Everything else was taken care of after I scheduled the initial estimate. Precision Collision took care of EVERYTHING, they kept me in the loop progress was being made on my car, they finished the work exactly when they said they would, and the end product was that my car looked as good as new! I recommend their services without reservation. Thank you to Doug, Gail, and everyone else who works there!

Took my late model truck in for repair after hitting a deer. I eventually drove off with a truck looking dealership new, but it took a couple tries.
First pickup came earlier than estimated (a very good thing), while inspecting the front bumper it was very apparent it was re-​installed incorrectly. Specifically, it was installed crooked and off center (they are bolted on and adjustable). After about 20 minutes it came back out good-​to-​go.
A couple days later the headlamp they replaced stopped working — not their fault, a manufacturer defect. I called them and they asked me to come in right away, they’d take a look and provide a way ahead. They needed to order a new assembly, which would take a day, at which time I could bring the truck in for a quick fix. I brought it in first thing and was told it would be ready by noon. I called shortly after noon and it was not ready. They explained the assembly they ordered did not come with all the parts they needed and it would be a couple more hours. They 1. should have called to explain the situation upon realizing the problem and 2. known what parts they needed to order from the start. Everything check out when I picked up the truck. However, after driving at night I realized they never adjusted the new headlight. The top horizontal edge of the beam was hitting about 25′ in front of the vehicle — fortunately the other headlight could provide some light on both sides. This was corrected with a screwdriver, but by no means should be something the customer should have to correct.
Overall, the front office was pretty good, Gail being very helpful and friendly.
But the workmanship and quality-​assurance needs to improve. The two times I picked up my vehicle it had a «Q-​A» checklist inside, both times signed off. Whoever is signing off on these needs to pay more attention to detail.
I would recommend with hesitation.

Wow… from the owner to the techs on the floor, this is what a service provider should be. Had to go back twice in the same month and both times I was overwhelmed by the professionalism, friendliness, integrity, and skill of the people that work ay PC. The work is impeccable also. My BMW was rear-​ended at a stop light and they not only fixed the crash damage, but they also maintain a relationship with a paintless dent repair expert that is amazing. I spent some time with the owner who actually gave me a ride to the metro, and his story is fascination… classic American success story. With all of the poor excuses for service providers that exist in this area, these folks are a true breath of fresh air. I love my car, but I have zero anxiety about it being in their care.

I didn’t know one body shop from another, so my method to find one to fix my ’08 Acura MDX was as follows: I looked at Acura’s list of recommended body shops, cross-​referenced that with my insurance company’s list of guaranteed shops, and then visited Unilocal.Luckily my diligence led me to Precision Collision. I had the pleasure of working with David Richmond. David was very professional, as were the rest of the staff, and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns thoroughly. They kept me well informed throughout the repair process. The damage was estimated at roughly $ 2,500. Now my Acura looks like it was never in an accident at all! The only wrinkle in the process was the fact that the new crash bar they ordered hadn’t come in by the time the repairs were done. David assured me that when it came in I would be contacted. It came in, I brought the vehicle back at my convenience, and the work was well done. Now my ride looks good again. It will look great once I get Precision to fix some previous damage, but that’s another story. Thanks Precision Collision!

I didn’t get any auto body work with the company. But their customer service was excellent. Lenny was great with keeping in contact and updating me on the status of my claim. They were also very friendly and helpful with the process of me getting my belongings from my veichle. I hope never to be in an accident again… But if necessary I would definitely return to them for service!

These guys were great, from start to finish. Clear communication, friendly customer service, and prompt repairs. They kept me informed on the status of my vehicle all week and even gave me direct info on the dealership they use for direct delivery of my rental vehicle. They gave me a walk thru of all the repairs at the end and they even vacuumed out the inside of my car and put air in my low tire! Very pleased with the work and service here.

Bottom line tgis place is the best. I started going there 15 years ago had left side of truck totaled and they redid it perfect. Then had a whole frame swap from ford raptor from bent frame. took a while but was big job and ended up great! Then had 2 more entire paint jobs done to right side of truck after being gouged by tree and looks great. Now supercar needs paint work and it’ll be done here because they do what they say they are going to do and are reliable

Friendly service, great work. We had three cars repaired in last two weeks. Will definitely use them again if we need any more repairs.

I just purchased a brand new Honda Accord on 14Mar15, and unfortunately someone bust my window, and stole all my tires off of my vehicle, and to add to that they scratched it up a little in the process (11Apr15). Their was significant damage under the vehicle due to the vehicle being set on cement bricks, and the tow truck having to tow it with no wheels. Luckily I was reffered to PC from Sheehy on Richmond Highway in VA. Gail answered the phone and was very professional and willing to help. PC had my vehicle for nearly 3 weeks, and every step of the way Gail kept me informed of everything that was going on via email. *Added bonus* they keep you informed via text as well. I picked up my vehicle yesterday (30Apr15), and my vehicle appeared and rides as if I just purchased it from the dealership. I highly recommend Precision Collision in Lorton, VA for repairs to your vehicle.

My family recently had the back window of our F150 replaced by Global Glass, an associated company of Precision Collision based on the referral of a local dealer.
John did an outstanding job ons the install and was a genuinely nice guy to boot. While waiting, I had the opportunity to tour the Precision Collision facility and was extremely impressed by the professionalism and competence of the crew. Rob, aka RT, takes a tremendous amount of pride in his shop and makes great effort to ensure a quality product.

I have had my car repaired here after the accident. They did an amazing job. They gave me a lifetime warranty on their work. The overall experience, especially the customer service, was excellent. I definitely recommend this body shop — you won’t regret! They are very clean, efficient, very professional — from the moment I turned my car to them and to the moment I picked it up, I did not do a thing (they called my insurance and arranged everything). Gail and George were working with me, I really appreciate their help. And the owner is a great guy — he is very approachable and easy to deal with. I can go on and on, however, you need to visit them and see yourself!

5 Star work from a 5 Star staff! Every part of doing business here was above par! They went above and beyond by checking on many request I had and sending daily progress pics! They treated my Bentley as it was there own baby! Bravo! Sarah and Tasos are customer service rock stars!

I went to precision collision this morning to have them look at my car. I was greeted by the owner, Robert Plate. Mr. Plate was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the procedure in repairing the damage on my vehicle. There was a very welcoming energy upon walking inside of the store, and all of the employees seemed interested in helping. I made an appointment so after the repairs are completed I will post an update.
Would highly recommend based off of the customer service provided, they’re awesome!

Couldn’t have asked for better customer service! Angelique really took care of me. She was very upbeat and had a can-​do attitude. She followed up with me a few times a week on the progress of my car. Also, the work done on my car was amazing. Looks like nothing ever happened to it. I would recommend this place to anyone I know!

Wonderful! I had a minor accident that damaged the bumper of my Honda Fit. USAA sent me to Precision Collision. They are do professional! They said 3 – 5 days and it was fixed in 48 hours. When they removed the bumper they found more damage and fixed that. They buffed my headlights which were pretty scratched up and fixed a broken tail light not part of the accident for free. My car was washed and detailed. The staff was great! Especially Angelique Davis. So professional and you can tell the employees enjoy working there. I hope I don’t need them again cause that would mean an accident. But, I recommend using them if you do. A++++ service!

I’m used to being taken advantage of in the auto dept b/​c I’m a female and I know very little about cars. However, Precision was great! I had a very short wait time until I got my car inspected. I did not have major repairs, only a few minor ones. They got my car back to me very quickly. They thoroughly explained what they did. Prices were lower than average, yet they provided quality service. Highly recommended.
