Hands down the best Chinese food in Los Alamitos. Amazing lunch specials that include soup or salad, rice, and a spring roll.
All the food is super fresh, not too salty, and perfectly balanced. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a great Chinese meal last night! The food was tasty and fresh, the service was terrific (thanks Lee), the ambiance relaxing, the booths comfortable, and everything looked clean. We know where to go next time we’re craving Chinese.

We have been going there for some time but just returned after being away for a while. They have redecorated and spruced up the place to where its really nice. Before they had too many TVs blaring but now its toned down. Food is always outstanding and I know they do a big carryout and delivery business.

Ordered a few times but reception on phone was soso more times than not. Young miss at counter who took recent order didn’t seem to understand difference between the various levels of spiciness as requested. She had them make it «very spicy» and ignored my question when I asked if it was prepared as was ordered.
Customer service is definitely a problem there sometimes but food is decent, so far.

Are their any ratings for less than one star!!! This singular rating is for a group of four. It was gross, it’s cooked very differently that is for sure. One would have to enjoy gluten-​free main courses that lacked true oriental flavor. Communication as far as ordering was no problem and delivery was prompt. The price was reasonable.

This place never disappoints. When I lived in Cypress they delivered great quality and tasty Chinese food.
Now that I live here in LB near the college, they still deliver great food.
This is our go to Chinese food. Every food on the menu are delicious. When they say 30 – 45 minutes, it’s literally less than 45 minutes. We absolutely trust this place. I highly recommend this place!

I really like and appreciate this place. I’ve never been to the location BUT I order for delivery at least 2 – 3 times per month. They are always prompt, they are always friendly, they never mess up my order, and the food arrives hot! The people on the phone are always courteous, patient, and helpful — some of the folks have heave accents BUT if you just have some patience, the order get completed and everyone is happy. I am a big fan because the food is good and I’ve never had a bad experience with them. I’ve been getting delivery from them for 5 years now and I don’t plan on stopping.

Ordering over the phone was fast and easy.
Everything came just as I had expected — the only thing, I forgot to ask for chopsticks and they did not throw any in.
Food — It was ok. A couple of the dishes we ordered were a little over sauced and was overly salty or sweet but overall still ok.

Bum. We called in order at 11:00 am i got food at 12:30. They had a plumbing issue. I waited for food when i should have walked out. We got NO discount on order or anything. I was weak. Never again.

I wouldnt say that their food is totally Butt, but its pretty good.

I always get the Moo Goo Gai Pan, (Great Choice) and Kung Pao 3 Delight! They are great — and you can customize your order (no onion or extra garlic) Red Wok Blows panda express away, and most others… I always order the delivery — it gets to my Lakewood house hot and yummy!

great food :) very good service, very neat, very comfortable and people are very friendly. People should try this restaurant. No regrets. I had my food delivered once, and i loved it, i definitely will order for delivery again and also will do dine in again.

So… just had food delivered.
1. Ordering on the phone was ridiculous. There was a serious language barrier… I’m patient, but it should not take 10 minutes to order Lemon Chicken and Pan Fried Noodles with Chicken. When asked questions about sides, he didn’t know the menu! Don’t put someone on the phone if they don’t know what they are talking about.
2. Speaking of the food; not good. My husband had the Pan Fried Noodles with Chicken; it was pretty bland to me. I had the Lemon Chicken. It got old quick. The lemon sauce was incredibly overpowering and the chicken itself is completely flat, about ¹⁄₈ inch thick or less! The breading was thicker than the chicken… it was stiff and tough. I ended up throwing it away. When I throw food away [I’m a foodie] it’s pretty bad. The rice that came with it was horribly dry and undercooked.
3. We won’t be ordering from here again.
Sorry Red Wok… we tried it out… but you didn’t make the cut for a second try.

Had delivery from here so disappointed we ordered soup war won ton not one wonton the reason I am giving it only a star was I could not believe when I called they tried to say I was lying I couldn’t believe it I am shocked and floored by this bottom line I won’t waste my time calling if the order was right sucks to spend that kind money to have the order wrong and then be told I didn’t know what I was talking about they always put wontons in it

I really enjoy this place. The Chinese food is one of the healthiest that i’ve tried. (Less oil, salt, and no MSG). The prices are great and portions a good size. I recommend going for the lunch special which is daily from 11 am to 4 pm. You get salad or soup, your choice of entrée, egg roll, and side of rice all for under $ 7. (brown rice is an option) The service is on point as well. The waiter we usually have is Kevin and he’s the sweetest. The atmosphere is nice since remodeling recently. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area. By far one of the best Chinese places I’ve been to!

First time trying the food tonight. We had the food delivered and it was outstanding. We ordered the broccoli beef, orange chicken, lemon chicken and lo mein. The food was hot, fresh and the ingredients were of high quality! Our family will be ordering here again and again!

We order delivery from here regularly. The food is very good, has no MSG and is not overly salty. I love their orange chicken, but everything we’ve tried has been great. Wonton soup, vegetable lo mein, haven’t had a bad dish yet! They deliver fast and are extremely polite. A large delivery radius too seems like. Love Red Wok!

Delicious Chinese food. I am pretty spoiled by living in Los Angeles and eating in Chinatown but I thought this place was very good.
I would definitely go back.
Service was impeccable, very clean, attentive and nice too.
My grandfather and grandmother and I ate lunch for $ 23 total. We had hot tea, 3 delicious dishes. Someone ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, something I would not order and I was blown away by how good it was.
Lunch included rice, a fried appetizer, soup & egg rolls.
Definitely going back when I’m in the area & looking for some yummy cheap eats and great service!

This place is good. really good.
For a delivery, this place is awesome. I moved out of the city a couple of years ago, and now that i’m back, i got the menu in the mail and placed a delivery. The tubs of food these guys send you is definitely worth the price. Order a noodle, a meat or two, and they show up with free white rice, making your order easily feed 4 people.
I would question those 1 star reviews on this place. Where do those people eat in order to feel so elitist (hi, Los Alamitos!) that they think this place is bland or not good?
As for the person that thinks panda or pick up is better? no way, your simply wrong. but hey, everybody can’t agree with everybody. (you know, you cant even get a room full of people to agree that water is wet, but whatever).
Its like the only places that deliver are pizza places around here, but red wok not only offers an alternative, but is incredibly delicious, reasonably priced, reasonably delivered, and outshines most restaurants in general.

not the fanciest place in the world but a very good place for a good Chinese/​oriental food.
Lunch special is $ 6.25-$ 6.75, that’s include any dish with chicken, Beef, veggie or Fish
White or fried rice, hot /​Sour soup, eggroll and good service.
The food is so good and made freshly when ordered
I almost forgot, when you sit down you get wantons chips with hot/​sour sauce and extra hot yellow mustard.
All this food for less than $ 10 include drink
I had the vegetable chicken and love it all the way, Sweet and sour soup is a must.
