I hadn’t needed a smog check in probably 4 years back then it was only $ 40 but I guess now the going rate is $ 50. The attendant was very fair and honest. I passed and was out of there within 15 minutes. No appointment needed.

Getting a Smog Check is always the most annoyance I have to deal with. The best parts about my experience with A Plus USA Smog was 1. He actually picked up the phone the first time I called. 2. He could take me for an appointment the very next day 3. There was no wait when I arrived and he completed the smog check in 15 minutes. Easy. Efficient. Just the way like things done. Will certainly return!

STAY AWAY! THIS GUY IS RUNNING A SCAM! It is a very common scam for smog check shops that don’t get enough business. They run your car with a rigged monitor and tell you you have to come back after you drive a little more. They charge you for the full price and then charge you again when you come back — THIEF! I called him on it and he immediately refused to answer any questions and ran back into his shop. I was once a mechanic and I know all these dirty tricks. I only tried him because he is close to my office. So many mechanics in LA take advantage of people — Save yourself and save your money. I just wish there was more consequences than just a bad Unilocal review. Stay away from this dirty shop!

Great customer service! Owner arranged to meet with me after work. Located just outside of Century City and close to Beverlywood on the corner of Pico and Roxbury, it was the best location for me since I work long hours in an office in Century City.

Had a Saturday morning smog check done on my wife’s car here with very little notice (called about 10 minutes before coming over). I’m terrible with names so apologies to the owner but he was quick and courteous and made for an extremely painless experience. Price was good for the model and year. Definitely recommend this business.
