Absolute on Hoover

I was at «Absolute on Hoover» this morning my 95 Jaguars service engine and transmission warning light were on, the young men were nice friendly and helped me to understand what was wrong. After a complete scan the problem was minor and they fixed it no extra cost.
The garage is neat very clean and smell’s nice the first time I’ve been in one so orderly even the mechanics are neat and clean so are their fingernail! I’m very glad I found this place!

Rovers, especially older ones, can be quite finicky. These are serious vehicles with a lot going on. And they’re European so nothing is really going to be cheap or simple.
Like my old review, I will re-​state, these guys are life savers. I had a heart attack moment a few months back. During my short commute to work my temp gauge spiked and I nearly overheated and blew my engine on my ten year old discovery. Called Absolute and they said to just have AAA tow it over. I had it to Absolute before noon. Had my car back at 5pm with a new water pump (phew, the least scary scenario for me) and an oil change.
Thankfully I haven’t had dire trouble with my car. But it’s still in the shop more often than I’d like it to be. But with Absolute I just know that they truly understand Rovers. My car always feels brand new every time I get it back from them. The garage full of vintage and new rovers is a testament to how rover nuts value their service.
Yeah it’s pricey. But that’s rover maintenance for you. And these guys have aced it every time. Can’t say that’s been true of any other mechanic I’ve had.

Been taking my 2001 BMW M3 to Absolute for over 2 years the service is great, their work is solid and turn around time is quick but most importantly they’re honest. Recently my M3 was leaking coolant after doing research online I narrowed it down to needing a new water pump and drove my car in expecting to do this pricey job, after the guys at Absolute inspected the car they told me I didn’t need a new pump, I needed to replace a connection point that had a bad seal. This fixed the leak, cost hundreds less then expected and I got my car back the same day.

Not sure why the rest here complain about the service,
I took my car there few times and I always got a good price (better than the dealership for sure)

They get it done, but at a real cost. The part sold to me for $ 240 is less than $ 60 at BPNorthwest. I understand a mark-​up but eh, that’s excessive to me.

Took my jaguar there with an evap leak that no other garage could figure out. This was the first shop that actually knew what they were doing. Awesome customer service!

Absolute On Hoover provides absolute great service. I came here after I googled jaguar repair shops. They provide excellent service for an excellent price. I needed my brakes replaced when I first came in and I would now return here anytime my car needs any work done.

I recently purchased a 2005 LR3. A few rattles in the rear tailgate/​hatch were driving me crazy. A Land Rover dealer wanted the car for «at least 2 days» to diagnose and repair the problem. Alan only needed an hour. Problem fixed! Thrilled.

If you own a Range Rover, you know how expensive it can be to maintain your car at the dealership, especially if your car is out of warranty. In searching for a place where I can take my car and not have to pay an arm and a leg, I can say I am happy I found Absolute Rover. The repairs are offered at very fair prices and the work done is high-​quality… these guys service Range Rovers, not every car under the sun. When I have to maintain my car, I no longer have to hesitate. Five stars.

This shop always provides with no fuss, direct, efficient and most of all QUALITY service. They will suggest other services to enhance performance and maintenance of my vehicle, but will never pressure. I always leave satisfied with the service provided here, their prices are very reasonable. Never going back to the dealer!
Also, I wish I could give an extra star for by far being the cleanest non-​dealer car shop I have ever laid eyes on.

I just took my Range Rover in for service. I spoke with Ken. He was awesome. Turn around time was very fast and the service was great. I would highly recommend this place.

I have a Range Rover HSE with several engine and suspension issues. Called to get more information and the guy (I believe his name was Alex) was very rude and practically hung up on me. Don’t expect great customer service from these guys.

I have 2 Land Rover vehicles. I take them in regularly. I drop at least $ 400 at very LEAST, every time, and thats because I decline many of the «other services» they «suggest».
I believe they are skilled when it comes to this specific brand of vehicle, but DO NOT EXPECT:
1.warm friendly service (his wife is friendly), even though I’ve taken my vehicles to them for over 5 years. They will send you a Christmas card.
2. a discount of any kind for loyal consistent service and/​or referrals. Like I mentioned before I have been a loyal customer, with two Rover vehicles, for over 5 years, and have paid my balance IN FULL EVERY visit.
3.them to take responsibility for their mistakes. For example, on a recent visit, I noticed, after taking my car in for service, that the ALIGNMENT was off when I received the car back. It was not «off» prior to the service. I asked the owner about it and he became very DEFENSIVE. He never offered to correct it and sent me on my way. Hence, I have not gone back for any «minor» services and am looking for other options. I’m even considering bringing my car back into the dealer.
4. local car service. They might call you a cab. They’ve been at this location, dealing with LUXURY cars and charging LUXURY prices for many years, the least they can do for customers, at least loyal and local is offer car service to the nearest coffee shop, etc.

A very good experience. The job was done on time for the price discussed. I had asked for full service on a used Defender I bought and he noticed (rightly) that some of the fluids had already been replaced and pointed that out and did not charge for that. I told him to put new spark plugs in and he told me I didn’t need to if I wanted to save money. Honest dependable service close to home. great.

Always professional. Way cheaper than the dealer. Once you are out of warranty its the only place to your Rover.

Front brakes took a day and cost $ 414.

I usually go to the dealer for everything but once I had to go to Vegas and needed new brake pads before I left. I called the dealer and they couldn’t fit me into their schedule prior to my departure. I found Absolute Rover on the Internet and they were awesome. Same day appointments and much closer from where I work than Hornburg Service up in Hollywood. Most of everything I do is covered under the extended warranty so I still have to go to the dealer. However, brakes and rotors are not covered under the warranty and the dealer price is way expensive. Last time I took my car in for scheduled servicing, the dealer told me I needed brakes and rotors and quoted me $ 1,700. I took it to Absolute Rover and got it done for $ 1,100. Just called them up and they told me to bring it in and had the car back to me on the same day.

Absolute Rover rocks! The check engine light was on in my car, I needed a smog check to register it this year (wont pass with the light on), and my mechanic is MIA.
There is another LR repair shop near my home that I’ve used, but they are super expensive. So I decided to give Absolute Rover a shot and couldn’t be more pleased.
The service was fast, efficient, friendly, and they were very honest about what my car needed and what could wait until I had more money. They even fixed a cosmetic problem at no charge — — that was a nice surprise!
If you have a Land Rover try Absolute Rover, you will not be disappointed and you will have money left over for dinner so you can still write restaurant reviews on Unilocal ;)
