Actor’s Choice Photography

James Pratt and his Actor’s Choice Photography is a stellar photographer, and one of the good guys in this business. James is kind, patient, and actually cares about how actors approach their career. His style is very laid back, and he is totally open to having a consultation to get a handle on what you are trying to do in the particular session. James obviously loves what he does, and as a result, the product is awesome. I know mine were. His attention to detail is amazing, and the session is fun and relaxed. I love James, and I will continue to go back to add to my portfolio.

James (the photographer) is fantastic. He takes his time an gets some great shots. For me, we shot in the studio, an he had the right equipment to make them look great. I have shot with other photographers who just took me outside, snapped a few shots, and hoped to get something, this is not the case with James, he really seems to care about getting the best possible results. The package I got also included the retouching of a couple pictures, and he does them in three different resolutions. that is very cool. I am having them made into prints now, and hopefully they will get me lots of auditions. I think they will.

I just had a wonderful photo shoot yesterday with James Pratt of Actor’s Choice Photography, and he was fantastic! He made me feel very comfortable and he gave me great feedback and direction during the shoot to get my best possible shots. We shot in his studio and his lighting for each shot was amazing. I was shooting eight different character looks and he helped me pick out the right wardrobe and helped me find the right attitude for each look. I also used the make up artist he suggested, Kurumi Uchino, and she was wonderful as well. She did an excellent job with make up and hair for each look, and I would have never been able to do it on my own.
James is friendly and professional, he makes sure you get amazing shots for a very good price and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had my headshot done: I usually don’t like my pictures, but he was able to capture my natural expressions and I love my photos. We did outside with natural light and inside with studio light. Every look we did, my versatility shows and I’m very happy with them.
He was very professional, he gave me the images right after the session, and my agent also loves them.
It was totally worth it!
