I absolutely love this man no pain friendly staff the people who have given bad reviews clearly tried to take advantage if you’re looking for quality dental work for a reasonable price come here he actually accepts payment plans and works with your budget

I am surprised by the bad reviews here. My family and I have been going to Dr. Rifman for over 20 years now and think he is pretty fabulous. He numbs you completely and with little pain (no one does shots better than him). He is thorough and does a good job. The office isn’t fancy and he is very dry, but I have confidence in him. I have had other dentists comment on his work. He recommends good people when I have to go for oral surgery, and is one reason he gets only 4 stars: the people are good but pretty expensive (although maybe all dentistry is) and even though I have a dental plan (I picked this one so I could keep him as my dentist) I do find his prices a bit high. But he is good, and I have had some bad dentists and it is not worth it to go through that again.

Dr. Rifman gave me a small sample size toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Then he charged me $ 25.00 for it without first asking me if I even wanted it. Using it didn’t help my sensitive tooth. Also, this toothpaste is not recommended for people with a sensitivity to milk products. Dr. R. didn’t ask about this or inform me or my friend before giving it to either of us.

This dentist doesn’t seem to care at all about the pain you are in. He doesn’t bother writing prescriptions for pain meds. I came to him by random. I picked him from a list from my insurance provider. Turned out I have an abscess in my gum. It’s extremely painful and he didn’t bother numbing my gum or giving me anything for the pain. His assistant was taking X-​rays of my teeth and tripped over the chord yanking the apparatus from my mouth. I won’t be going back to this dentist. I do not recommend him. I noticed how unpopular he is on Unilocal just before I went in and sure enough he is as bad as they say.

Submitted a false claim to my insurance and also sent me a bill for a filling he never did. When I confronted him about the claim (I have ZERO fillings in my mouth) he said I just couldn’t see it because it was one of the «invisible» ones. When I refused to pay, he reported me to a collection agency. I am currently in the process of disputing the claim and reporting him for insurance fraud.
P. S. He’s a smoker.

Tried to push us ito buying some medeival contraption. Doesn’t listen. Did a really poor job on anesthesia. Didn’t get fully numb till after the appt. Despite being asked to wait for 2^nd insurance, preauthorized treatment for another doctor and that doctor started callig us! What a racket! We were told cost would be one figure and suddenly it was 4x that. (Nothing changed-​no additional problems, they just screwed up reading our insurance!)
