I love this gym! The light effects moves to the beat of the music and it helps get me in the zone. I like how the gym is super clean, towels are provided, showers are in the locker room, and there’s free parking. You can’t beat that! Oh and Peter’s class is great. He is friendly, motivational, and challenges you to go past your comfort zone. I look forward to coming back!

Great shower space, makes getting ready for work easy. Has plenty of lockers. Spin shoes are available for rent at $ 3/​per class. They serve you cold eucalyptus (?) towels after class.
The Spin room has stadium seating which is awesome + a cool light show that really pumps up the ride.
As we all know, studios can be nice but it’s really all about the instructors, my personal favorites are Tolland Weems and Jenna Phillips. Music is a HUGE factor in spin and their music selection is always fun /​current and the riding instructions keep you entertained and dancy. I’d say skill level (for the two instructors mentioned) is intermediate to advanced and comparable to soul cycle or cycle house.
Holding off on giving 5 stars because the other instructors I’ve tried have lacked the music, energy and skill that it takes to put on an outstanding spin class.
Overall, I’m a fan and will keep coming back.

Tolland’s class is IT. He plays some of the best music ive ever heard in a spin class, and he always has the place totally jumpin.
The studio itself is small, but very well kept. A nice size bathroom and tons of lockers are available, and easy to use

Spacious, nice spin studio in one of my fav LA neighborhoods. I won’t lie, Aura is certainly no Cycle House with Nichelle (but what studio is), however, I do enjoy working out here.
The good: Aura is pretty big, they have nice bikes, cool décor, and what I personally love in a cycle studio: AMPHITHEATER SEATING. The room also looks like a club with very pretty lights that helps you zone out and really push yourself to the max. Tolland is def my fav instructor there. He plays great music and you will certainly break a good sweat. I also appreciate that they have actual lockers and a spacious locker room with nice showers and dressing space. Oh, and free parking is always lovely too.
The things that could be better: The fact that they charge for shoes alone and for it to be $ 3 is quite petty to me. (Wtf is $ 3 for some shoes bruh?). As a pretty avid spinner, I also think they could step it up one more notch with their method (but it is getting better).
Minus those few things, this is a great studio I would recommend.

Good energy and music. Friendly instructor but a bit intense.
I really liked the set-​up inside though. Really pretty lights that were interactive with the music and spin ride. It’s super dark inside though, so if you were like me and had your bike set-​up incorrectly, it is not as easy to adjust once the lights are out. I feel like I get a good overall workout in this class and the instructor is very attentive to each rider.

Peter is the absolute best! I can’t get enough of his classes! Love the music, his energy, his passion, and the way he motivates me to work harder than I thought I could! The time flies by and I always have a blast while getting a killer workout. Also, the studio is always clean, staff is super friendly, and I love the light show during the class.

I absolutely love love love AuraCycle! Classes are always fun and challenging, the studio is super clean, they validate parking. Maurizio and Trent are my favorite instructors.
My #1 workout place.

I’ve taken quite a few spin classes over the last several months and at least 5 at AuraCycle… the class I took with Frankie Morales was by far the best one at Aura and one of the best I’ve taken period. He is encouraging but not aggressive (I’m not a fan of the instructors that yell at you) and put together a really fun session with a great, upbeat playlist.
It was an awesome workout but also a fun time, which makes working out much more enjoyable in my opinion.
The studio overall is comfortable and clean, plus the easy (and free) parking is really convenient. I’ll be back soon, hopefully in one of Frankie’s classes.

I’ve taken a few classes here with my Classpass and this studio is decent, but doesn’t compare when you put it in rank with other West Hollywood spin studios like Cycle House or Soul Cycle.
The studio itself is pretty cool. You face a wall of lights as you’re cycling that changes with the music. The bikes aren’t great. I found the handle bars loosened a bit every time I stood up so I was retightening them throughout most of the class and the seat is hard as a rock so you’re likely to leave with a bruise to the butt.
The staff is very friendly and helpful if you need any help with the bikes. The teachers are motivating, although I didn’t like it when I took a class and the instructor told us to do whatever we wanted for an entire song. Isn’t that the point of a class? To be instructed and have someone push you? If I did whatever I wanted I’d just be lazy and sit there. Also, their music is kind of dull — not a lot that’s recognizable or current.
Other fun facts — Parking is pretty easy along 3^rd and behind their building. They charge $ 3 for shoe rental and provide complimentary damp eucalyptus towels after class.
All in all, I’d say it’s a fine place, but if you’re looking for a quality spin class you’ll get more bang for your buck at a competitor cycle studio.

Awesome spin class with Frankie this morning. He brings great energy, an upbeat playlist, and keeps everyone motivated. Loved the low light atmosphere of the studio too. Definitely will be coming back!

I moved to LA from NYC about 2 months ago. Have been an avid spinner and trained with some of the best instructors in NYC (Flywheel, Cyc, Monster Cycle, etc.). Was really nervous about coming to California and not finding a studio or instructor that I really meshed with and challenged me as much as I was challenged in NYC.
I have 100% found an amazing replacement. Aura is above and beyond my favorite studio in LA (and potentially across the country). I found classes on Classpass, but have been riding /​buying packages beyond that.
1. The facilities are excellent. Am such a sucker for eucalyptus scents — so the post-​class towels are perfect
2. The staff is excellent. Super welcoming, talkative — remember each student who comes through the doors.
3. Bikes/​shoes are on point. Brand new studio + lighting effects are fabulous
4. Instructors. most importantly. Peter Tucci is incredible. He is above and beyond my all time favorite instructor. His music is carefully mixed and choreographed. He brings such an energy that his classes are immediately drawn in and hooked.
Peter is one of my friends, but when it comes to reviewing instructors, I want to be 100% honest. He really is the best. And his passion for spinning and really challenging each individual on a personal level is a great reflection on his overall character.
I love Aura — and the only «con» that I can think of is that I am not the biggest fan of the lotion scent ;)
Also — free parking with a fabulous attendant.

I have been to a few cycling studios and this waste least impressive so far. It was my first time at this studio and I was greeted at the front desk with the most unenthusiastic staff. I told the woman twice that I was new and was hoping that they would have some key points for me and give me a tour or at least show me where the hell the lockers were, but that was not the case. Such a shame because the front desk sets the tone of the business. If they don’t perform their job at a high level things can appear less than intended. For a studio that boasts the name «Aura» they should know better.
When the class started I noticed that it was a large studio space with the most beautiful light show. It really amazing how their light set up was! I loved the club type atmosphere but the class was as lackluster as their front desk. The class was repetitive and not too many different exercise. The bikes are so packed together that I was even bumping elbows with the person next to me. To top it off I’m positive their bikes are the most unsafe. The knobs to change up the resistance and to adjust the bike are so close to where you would do the arm exercises that it is easy to injure yourself. Too bad the class instructor did not even fix our forms or warn us. I was definitely not happy when I bumped my face in to the knob doing a push up!
On the upside they do have a clean studio and have lockers and a shower (with soaps) and free parking but I will not be returning on my own accord.
*They charge $ 3 for show rentals btw so be prepared to pay at the front.

As a classpass holder, I’ve tried tons of different spin studios-​but I found Aura to be the best. The lights and atmosphere in the studio are amazing and help you get in the zone. I took class with Tolland-​I really liked all the music he played and he really encouraged you to push yourself to where you almost feel like you’re going to throw up (in the best way possible).
I left class feeling so good, energized, and happy to have finally tried out Aura’s spin class since I’ve been a fan of their TRX classes at the Sunset studio. The only con about AuraCycle is the $ 3 shoe rental :(BUT the free parking is a HUGE plus… trying to find parking on 3^rd street on a Saturday morning (or any time really) is a nightmare. Also the eucalyptus towels they have available after class are so refreshing.
I can’t wait to book my next class and maybe try a different instructor!

I’m so excited to write this review right now. Not because the class was good, but because it was just so terribly terribly awful/​bizarre.
I just started classpass and this was my first class of the month. Let met just say… wow.
I took the After Hours class with Adam. Thank you, AuraCycle, for an experience I will never forget. Also, thank you for giving me ammo for a great topic of conversation on my next date. I will now be THAT much funnier because of this gem of an experience.
See…the concept of AuraCycle actually was cool to me. Some people may be turned off by the flashing lights and the bumpin’ music, but honestly… I can get down with that. The parking was easy and free and the studio itself was super close to my work and home. Seemed promising.
Let me preface this by saying that before classpass, I was a Cycle House fiend. I probably have half the items they sell, two water bottles, and have taken every single one of my friends to Maranda’s class. At one point, I would do double rides and would pretty consistently go around 5 times a week. I was a woman obsessed. I know a good spin class when I see one. Or perhaps I’ve just been utterly spoiled by Cycle House.
I consider myself a fair person, so let me start off by sharing some positive things about AuraCycle. Aside from the A+ parking situation and close proximity to me, the studio itself is very clean. The space is cool with ambient lights and a modern, sleek look. Very pish posh LA, which I actually dig. The class I went to was relatively empty (now I know why), so at first I thought «This is great! I’ll be able to get more individualized attention!». Nothing wrong with the bikes in my opinion. Seemed relatively new and worked fine. Towels are placed on each bike beforehand and they offer cold eucalyptus towels post-​workout. They have plenty of digital-​lock lockers to store your things, which is nice. They bathroom is nice and clean and they have water refilling stations.
See…AuraCycle reminds me of the apartment complex I just moved out of. It also reminds me of some pretty heinous girls I know. They’re pretty on the outside… but when you get down to the core of it… they’re like a living nightmare. (Okay, maybe I’m being a tad dramatic, but whatever.)
Now…let me get to the good (technically, bad) parts. Another reviewer mentioned Kimmy Schmidt and I felt like I had found my AuraCycle review soulmate when I read that. The entire time, I felt like I was transported into that scene in the show where Kimmy goes to the cultish spin studio and there are over-​the-​top lights and music and a crazy instructor. Yup. Spot on.
Alright…where do I begin? I could barely hear what Adam was saying, (did he ever really say anything of substance, though? I’m not sure.) so most of the class, I kind of made up my own rules for how much resistance I should have on the bike based on what I knew from my previous spin classes at CH. That being said, when I could hear his instructions, I was a little confused by #1 how little resistance we were told to put on the bikes #2 how many breaks there were #3 how little the pace was changed up. On a purely technical standpoint, this wasn’t really a good workout.
Here’s where things get weird. The music is blasted so loud that at times, I was kind of just unsure whether the constant grunts, animal noises, and CUCKAWW sounds were coming from some remix version of each song. Nope. It was Adam. At one point, I started cracking up in class and said «WTF» out loud. I felt like I was constantly looking around in wide-​eyed horror… trying to see if someone… anyone was seeing/​hearing what I was. It seemed like everyone was just chugging away and didn’t find anything odd about it. Wut?! From cracked out fist-​pumping, to banging his chest, to at one point (I sh*t you not) pulling his shirt over his head Beavis and Butthead style so that his sleeves were still on, but his entire chest was exposed and flexing his pecs… if anyone got a good workout, it was the instructor. This must be what kids look like when they’re at raves.
Throughout class, we were told to stop looking in other directions and to look at him. No, sweet Jesus, no. I’m sure you’re a perfectly nice human being, Adam… and so I feel pretty bad writing this all, but I honestly do not know what the heck I got myself into when I signed up for this class. I’ve experienced different teaching styles for spin-there’s the inspirational, motivational route, the drill sergeant route, etc. This was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
I couldn’t wait to get out of that class and tell everyone on my phone list about the most bizarre spin experience of my life.
TL;DR — Kimmy Schmidt’s «Kimmy Rides A Bike» meets crazy rave meets crazy animal noises.

Had a great 6 AM workout this morning with Hallie. She was encouraging, friendly and helpful and had just the right amount of energy for a 6 AM class. It was my first time at the studio, so I was mentally writing my Unilocal review while ‘climbing up the hill’ simultaneously. (Don’t judge me)
Pros:
— Free, easy parking (lot located on S Harper and 3^rd)
— Nice studio, cool lit up wall to keep you entertained while riding :)
— Great instructor
— Clean, spacious showers (3 total)
— Cold towel after workout
Cons:
— $ 3 shoes
I’ve done my fair share of spin around the area, SoulCycle, Flywheel, etc and I really like Aura as a good alternative to Soul. I would definitely return based on the location/​convenience/​experience, but the $ 3 for shoes each class would make me hesitate.

I’m a huge fan of the Aura franchise. Their yoga studio is fantastic so it’s no surprise that they’re cycling studio is too.
I love that everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I didn’t feel like it was super clique-​y like a lot of other studios I’ve been to. Their locker area and restrooms are great and have plenty storage space. There’s also ample parking– free and metered. Rare in LA so this makes AuraCycle stand out from the rest.
I took Tolland’s class and he was such a good time. For me, the music sets the tone for the workout. If your playlist is wack, I more than likely won’t be returning. That wasn’t the case here. Tolland played all the throwback jams and had me dancing in my seat. It made my ride THAT much better. Their lighting inside the studio makes it feel like you’re sweating it out at an intense nightclub too. So fun!
Only negative is the $ 3 charge for shoes. Idk I just don’t like that I have to pay for shoe rental but it’s nothing too serious I guess.

Overall great spin classes. I like the times they offer: 7:30pm on a weeknight is key for post-​work, and 3 morning classes on Saturday & Sunday. So far, I’ve always been able to book last minute through classpass. Just note that some classes are 45 minutes and some are an hour! I have to say, this class is the sweatiest spin class I attend. not sure if it’s just hot in the studio, I’m working harder than usual, or a mixture of both!
They offer free parking in a garage on Harper Ave. It is 90 minute parking. one time I went to lunch after and spent more than 90 minutes, and the parking attendant was not happy with me. The garage is a bit of a mess when one class is letting out and the other is about to start. If you’re easily frustrated, grab a cheap meter on the street.
Perks: filtered water station, towels, eucalyptus towels after class, lockers, the have the coolest mirror with lights inside class.
Cons: spin shoes are $ 3.So, I always choose the studios where shoes are free over Aura. It’s small but manageable.
