THE best hot dog you can get in K-town! 3 bucks for a juicy bacon-wrapped hot dog with grilled onions and jalepeño. So good.

For the love of humanity, you must have one or two or three of these delicious hot dogs. These street hot dogs might possibly be the best hot dog you’ve ever had. I live down here in Orange County and have previously drove all the way to L. A just to get my hands on one of these bad boys!!! Please do yourself a favor and eat one of these things, make sure you get one of the grilled jalapenos and plenty of onions and stuff on it!!!

There is absolutely nothing better than a bacon hot dog after a night of partying in Hollywood at 2am. I’ve long relied on Alberto’s, Alejandro’s, Big Mike’s, Pita Pit, and The Hat to meat those late night pre-hangover needs, but the bacon hot dog is the Hollywood /downtown LA standard. The pictures don’t do this gastronomic delight justice. If you happen to be in Seattle, make sure to find a hot dog cart and go with the cream cheese. It’s amazing…

it’s about time the bacon hot dog carts are getting the recognition they deserve – and they are the best fast food out there, but certainly not as cheap as i remember them… i prefer these dogs w/not too much of the sauces tho. i like to taste the jalapenos & grilled onions.yummy.Tina’s right… they deserve a million stars**

Either I was drunk or this was seriously one of the best hot dogs I’ve had. This one was on Hollywood and Cahuenga. We were the last ones to get a hot dog before the police shooed the woman off. I remember having one years ago and not liking it very much, but this time was completely different. The bun was super soft and the fried onions on top of the crispy bacon wrapped hot dog were delicious. The woman even had condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise(I must have ketchup w/my hot dog). I almost wish I had remained ignorant of this discovery bc I’m not going to be able to pass one up again, and these suckers cannot be good for you!

midnight? check! drunk + starving? check! BACONHOTDOGS??? checkity check check!!! how did i go this long, living in LA, and not know about the bacon hot dog carts??? OMFG. we went to a show at the Wiltern(wilshire + western) about 2 weeks ago. after the show i was STARVING. walked down to the Denny’s for some french fries to go(need to do another review on that, by the way. GREAT fries). as i walked back to the front of the theater to meet my boyfriend, i realized i was surrounded by carts. carts filled with grilled bacon dogs, onions + peppers. i said, ‘why the eff not?!’ we each grabbed a dog and ate them on the street. WOW. i swear to GOD i’ve never tasted anything so amazing. a charred dog with a piece of bacon seared onto it? are you effing kidding ME? throw in grilled onions, peppers and mustard and you are in late-night-drunken HEAVEN. we were back at the Wiltern last night. no offense Eddie Vedder, but all i could think about during the show was BACONDOGS. as soon as the show was over, we got the hell out of there to get to the carts. PLEASE people. do yourselves a favor next time you’re out in Hollywood at a show or bar: try a bacon dog. you won’t be sorry.
