Very fast delivery service, nice sized portions, I would definitely order here again!

I ordered delivery. They where on time. Food was well packaged and hot. I got plenty of napkins and utensils. This is total BS! Servings are too small to serve a family. I like to order several entrées for everyone to eat. This is good for one person. They give more steamed rice than entrée. I don’t even want the steamed rice and won’t even bother to eat it. Way too expensive for what your getting. Most of the food needs seasoning so very badly. Extremely bland. Overwhelmingly boring food. Kung NO pow. Don’t bother ordering chow mein or fried rice because it is extremely lackluster. Most of the food was such a disappointment. I think I fell asleep through eating half of it. I didn’t even bother finishing my plate. It wasn’t worth the calories. So annoyed with the $ 109.00 I waisted on this food no one wants‼ The peppered calamari was actually quite tasty and flavorful but the portion was absolutely abysmal. The piece of lettuce underneath the calamari turned into what could be described as wilted mushy steamed spinach which caused the underneath side of the calamari to become mushy. Not a good idea to put a moist item on the bottom of a crispy one. I can’t believe how little they are willing to put on a plate for the price. A big mac box is bigger. I will give it 2 stars because the meat was cooked to perfection. It was very moist and tender. I ordered pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp. All of the meat was cooked perfectly. They all just had no flavor whatsoever. I’ll be moving onto another restaurant. I will not be back. What an epic waist of money!

Found this place from a flyer in my mailbox and couldn’t be happier! I feel like the food has the quality of Chin Chin with the affordability of Panda Express — and they deliver! I’ve probably tried half the menu since we started ordering from them and everything I’ve had has been good and the portion sizes are great! I often have yummy leftovers for lunch the next day :-)

Save yourself a sick day and eat at home. Terrible place. Of all the places to eat in the area that are good, why did I choose this place? They’re fortune cook was good.

Not good. Worst pad Thai I’ve ever had. Nothing was even remotely close to spectacular and it’s took almost 2 hours for deliver. Absolutely never again. Oh yea and about $ 70 through seamless including delivery fees /tax/tip. :-/

Ordered food online & paid online. Got a call that it «typically takes 1 hr, but was busy & would take 2.» Waited over 3 hours. Called & said needed credit card info over phone in order to make delivery. No food :(

This place is bull– we ordered at 8pm and called an hour later to hear that the order was still on its way… 40 minutes later 1:40 after called again to check. Still«we’re busy it’s coming» and then 2 hours after that«it’s not made yet– sorry» we know it’s a holiday but be honest it will take 3 – 4 hours and not lie and keep saying its on the way– we are sitting here waiting and NOTHING– terrible service seriously terrible

Don’t order from this place! I ordered delivery hours ago, they delivered my food but a bunch of food was missing. When I called them they said that they could not bring the rest of the food because now we are«at the end of the line». I asked to speak with the manager and spoke to Jenny who basically said«sorry can’t help». They even charged me for it! This isn’t the first time I have had problems with them. Once I ordered veggie fried rice(because I am a strict vegetarian) and it came with meat at the bottom! Another time we ordered and they quoted us 30 minutes and it took over 1−½ hours to come. Oh, also, we live 4 blocks away.

Ever since they changed ownership, this place has gone from a charming high quality Chinese food restaurant to nothing more than a fast food joint with low quality food to match. People who work there are rude and totally unconcerned with getting your order right/fast/hot. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and went to this place religiously and always loved chatting with the man who waited on us(always the same guy). Now I’d prefer to drive however many miles I have to rather than the 1 block walk from my apartment JUST to avoid this place. Horrible.

Terrible just simply terrible the service is bad the insinuation and innuendos were just more than I could handle. I use to come by here every couple weeks for a quick lunch generally pleasant good value they would often have either soccer or tennis on TV but with this place has transformed into a pittance of what it once was. Ordered my meal asked for a soft drink and water eventually I got just my soft drink no water. I had ordered a soup my main meal came and I still had not received my soup I asked about my soup, her response was you still want it? When I received my check it was a total of eight dollars and some odd cents I put down a $ 20 bill when she picked it up she said«you want change?» what! I don’t think I’m going to be tipping 120% on a lunch with terrible service received. I left zero.

Oh no!!! Chyn King is under new mangagement. At first the food was really good following old ownership/management. But now… yuuuuck. The must have changed cooks. I got my usual shrimp and broccoli, szechwan eggplant and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp broccoli taste like uncooked flour and then I bit into a staple. Not my fav chinese restaurant anymore after 10 years. Sad. Any other suggestions?

I don’t know what happened after the remodeling and the whole staff changed, but I miss the way it used to be! The service isn’t nearly as good as it used to be. The woman who does Togo orders always snatches and her greeting is a hit or miss. Too many times my order is either missing something or the wrong thing all together. GETITTOGETHERGUYS! I work in fine dining, you can do better

Really tasty, reasonably priced, quick, friendly delivery. The beef in the Mongolian Beef dish was tender and so good! I am a fan and will definitely order from them again!

Incredibly rude delivery staff. Stood between myself and my door demanding«cash tip» when I already tipped thru the app! Incredibly unprofessional and irritating. Last time I checked tips were for exceptional service in the first place. In app tip coupled with a delivery fee also. Mediocre food that took 70 minutes to arrive. Will never order again.

My husband and I used to order from here all the time when he lived near La Brea/Wilshire(when we were dating). Consistently good: fresh tasting ingredients, good variety of menu items, and a light hand with the salt and oil(hard to find with some of these Chinese joints). Owners/service were always cordial, attentive, and open to substitutions. Our favorites were the veggie fried rice(large chunks of real vegetables, not just the typical frozen peas/carrots medley), wor wonton soup, hot/sour soup, orange chicken, and dry sautéed green beans. Wish we still lived in the area and could eat there more often!

Got dinner delivered and was fast and Fresh and delicious! lemon chicken is very tender and tasty, the rice is good and ordered a crab Rangoon for appetizer and the buttery crisp crunch wrapped around the hearty filling was one of the best Rangoon I’ve ever had! I highly recommend for a quick filling meal at a good Price

I’m always looking for that go-to Chinese joint that makes great, savory dishes at low prices and in large quantities. I haven’t quite found it in LA just yet, but Chyn King is close. I’ve had the kung pao tofu($ 8), the braised tofu($ 8) and the vegetable chow mein($ 8). Of those three, I’d say the kung pao is the best — it has a nice savory sauce with golden-fried cubes of tofu and a nice mix of vegetables and peanuts. The braised tofu bills itself as spicy, but it’s actually more sweet than anything else and has a somewhat gooey sauce that I didn’t think was great. The vegetable chow mein was straight-forward and lacked vegetables(though they did add fried tofu at no cost, which was nice). Brown rice is an option which is awesome. You don’t see that often at Chinese restaurants of this type. They have a small parking lot in the back, but street parking in this area is generally pretty easy around lunch. The service is efficient and pretty good on a whole; one guy is really friendly and happy and knows everyone while the other guy is curt and not particularly happy. All in all, Chyn King is my favorite spot to get Chinese food in the Hancock Park/La Brea area.
