My regular PCP recommended Dr. Taheri and his staff and I’m glad he did, they are pretty awesome. Nice waiting room, chatted with a few people and it seems like parking sucks so plan ahead. on the bright side, Rhea, went over everything in detail regarding procedures, pricing, recovery and more. I’m glad they don’t try to gauge you out of buying products or secretly bill you like crazy, they’re upfront and recommended things you could actually benefit from. Ask for Rhea though, she’s awesome. Will be back for sure. See you in two weeks!

Dr Taheri and his staff are amazing. I first brought my daughter back in August 2014 with really really bad blackhead problem. Now her face looks amazing and I just so thankful for the constant service this office provide us!

Found this place on Unilocal & was kinda fooled by the ratings. They have such high levels of ratings because they give a free product when you check in & write a review for them with 5 stars.
Also, there’s really no point in making an appointment to speak to the doctor, because they have scheduled TONS of other patients for the same time as you. It doesn’t matter how early you come to your appointment, you’re still waiting.
I paid $ 120 for a consultation with the Doctor which, with no exaggeration, lasted a total of a whopping 3 minutes. The doctor came in the room and I had barely any time to ask him questions about certain procedures and what he recommended because he was in such a rush to leave. It was annoying having the nurse there in the room as well, since it was so tight knit and felt a little crowded and not very personal or one-​on-​one with the doctor himself.
The consultation included a free chemical peel. I went to my appointment wearing makeup on my face, so I had to remove it before the peel. The nurse didn’t even give me time to properly remove the makeup because she was in a rush as well; therefore, I had the chemical peel done with some makeup still on my face.
The setting of the office is very clean and professional, however. The service was probably the worse I have experienced at a professional private practice. The doctor himself was nice, although he was in a rush. The nurses, however, were kind of rude and I would recommend people to read my review before making a decision on going in!

I just visited Dr. Taheri’s office for the first time. I was looking for a new dermatologist in LA and couldn’t be happier! Everything beginning from the moment I walked in the office was first class. The office is clean, classy, very efficient and the Dr. Taheri took his time with me. He made sure I was well informed and educated on my skin and recent spots that had appeared on my body and how they should be treated. He answered all my questions and I never felt like I was being rushed. I am so happy that I found LA Laser and Skin Care Center.

Dr Taheri is so very proficient in his work. I’ve been getting a rash for the past week which I thought was just a bad eczema crisis but with the right questions he managed to diagnose my condition: pityriasis rosea. This doctor is the best dermatologist I’ve ever had. I could not recommend him enough!

I highly recommend this dermatologist. I’ve seen a ton of different dermatologists for acne and Dr. Taheri is the only dermatologist I’ve ever seen results with. After a couple of months my skin was practically clear.

Knowledgeable and confident Doctor but polite and puts it in layman’s terms so as the patient you understand! He was confident that he could clear up my adult acne which made me confident as well making me immediately feel better about myself. The cortisone shots cleared up my cystic acne almost immediately and fully within a day or two.
I bought his toner to help treat any more pimples that pop up and I like it a lot it didn’t dry out my skin too much.

I love Dr. Taheri’s office! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, as well as Dr. Taheri. I went to another dermatologist prior who basically only charged me bills doing nothing to help, but Dr Taheri knew exactly what to do to help my skin. Great place to go!

I have been to sooo many dermatologists and I have finally found THE one. Dr. Taheri and his staff are the most kind and caring people. I came back from a trip abroad and suffered from horrible hormonal acne. After three months of a strict regimen of chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and extractions, my face is looking so much better. I no longer get those big, puss-​filled pimples and my skin is smooth. I still have some scars but that’s definitely so much better than the cystic ones. Dr. Taheri is not the kind of doctor that’s makes the nurses do everything. He will be the one to do the extractions and spend time talking to you and making sure you understand everything and answer all your questions. I cannot tell you how many doctors I have seen. Probably at least 12 or so, but no longer will I be searching. I highly recommend this office! You won’t regret it!

I have known Dr. Taheri for 4+ years have been coming to him for all my skin needs!!! You name it he does it all Botox, Fillers, Facial treatments and the list goes on. The staff is always so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient in what they do.
I have brought my little ones to him and he was so patient with them took the time to explain everything to me and how to use the medication very professional in my opinion
I have recommended my family to go to him for any skin issues or cosmetic needs which by the way the prices are amazing!!! I LOVE it

Confession… I am in a torrid LOVE affair with this office… and I can’t stop myself.
LOVE the clean state of the art facility, LOVE the kind courteous staff, LOVE the organized office manager Miss Chammy Cham, LOVE the goodly and knowledgeable Dr. TAHERI.
This guy… fuggedaboutit. WOW. So good, Sooo smart. I showed the meds I had been given just months ago by another dermatologist who apparently misdiagnosed me. Dr. Taheri immediately took me off those meds because they were WAY too strong. His reasoning made perfect sense to me. The previous dermatologist had prescribed the HIGHEST strength level steroid cream for some minor skin problems I’ve developed in my old age. Wisdom-​prone Dr. Taheri reasoned that rather than start out with the strongest meds, we see if a lower to mid-​level steroidal cream could give me the same positive results.
Well… he was right. Turns out I didn’t need such a strong med, shame on the last doctor for prescribing them. The danger of starting out with the highest level steroid is that once your body adjusts to it, it is the only thing your body will respond to… meaning that if someday you need something «stronger» god forbid, there’s no where to go because you’re already at the strongest dosage. I was really shocked to learn this.
Not only that, the previous doctor had prescribed an ointment for my face that clearly states «DO NOT use on face!». The goodly Dr. Taheri pointed this out and I was flabbergasted.
Anyhoo, they took good care of me and now my skin is as right as rain. Sagely Dr. Taheri zapped all the ugly sun spots and liverworts off my face, he took care of those pesky broken capillaries on my big, red Irish potato farmer nose, and lastly had his staff give me a chemical peel that left my forehead looking like a new born babe and no longer Mel Gibson-​ish. (I love mel, but our foreheads were too similar and I’m 30 years younger).
Can’t wait to have my monkey back hair removed… to be continued…

I’ve always been passionate about skincare and anti-​aging. I always go to spas and get facials, waxing, laser hair removal, and more. I came to Dr. Taheri’s office, and was welcomed immediately by the receptionist. I then met with Chammy the treatment coordinator and senior consultant. She was very bubbly, friendly, and super enthusiastic about my upcoming hydrafacial. She was very informative when it came to providing me information with the other services that their facility provided. I learned a lot about coolsculpting, and the added benefits. I also learned about their different laser treatments, and I found out more about the hydrafacial itself.
I also learned that my insurance could potentially cover 1 microdermabrasian a month. I wish had known this prior, because my other dermatology clinic, today me I couldn’t. I met up with Erin, who was my esthetician for my hydrafacial. She was very nice, warm, and extremely knowledgeable about the benefits of the hydrafacial. Being that I am a fanatic when it comes to skincare, I was super excited to try a new facial technique I’ve never had before.
During the hydrafacial, I would compare it feeling like a much more gentle version of microdermabrasion. You still feel the exfoliating tip, but it’s wet, and you can feel your skin being both cleaned and hydrated at the same time. She went over a couple times over my face, each pass she was adding a different serum to my face. Afterwards, I got a lot of extractions off my face, more than I would at a regular spa. However, I left the clinic with a smile on my face because my face was super clean and more hydrated than I’ve ever had.
After getting many facials in the past, I have to say this is the best facial I’ve ever had. For $ 150, you can get a hydrafacial. I have to say the price is absolutely worth it. For $ 100, you can go do a microdermabrasion. What I like a lot better about a hydrafacial, is that it brings back moisture to your skin, after you have your face exfoliated and extracted. Your face will feel hydrated throughout the day. My face has not stopped glowing since I left.
I also left with a couple products, the facial wash and exfoliating wipes. I will update later to let you all know how it was. I’m sure it’s going to be good. I definitely will come back, and down the line I am definitely going to look into getting a coolsculpting treatment to get rid of some problem spots.
After I was done, I met up again with Chammy, and she asked me how my treatment went, and I told her it was amazing. I will definitely coming back. Everyone there was wonderful and so nice.
Tips:
Parking on street is 2hrs. You shouldn’t be there longer than that. Also they complementary parking in the back as well.
For all your skincare, laser treatment, microdermabrasion, hydrafacial, they got it all.

Here’s the thing folks, I’ve been frequenting dermatologists as well as medical /​regular spa’s for facials for the greater part of my adult life (7+ years). I can honestly say that I’ve never had a more pleasant experience than the one I had here today. The staff is SUPER friendly, knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and they don’t pressure sell you on any specific products or treatments. They listen to your concerns and give you their honest opinion and clearly go the extra mile to recommend and prescribe you options that won’t break the wallet.
Dr. Taheri himself is personable and welcoming. My esthetician Erin was fantastic and probably gave me the most in depth extraction I’ve ever received which, for someone with acne prone skin, is much appreciated. Chammy greeted me warmly and was just super personable as well.
The office itself is clean with a great variety of equipment and procedures offered right there in-​house and also has free valet parking available as well. Today specifically, I received the HydraFacial, my first one ever, and I must say after loads of chemical peels and microderm abrasion treatments I really think the HydraFacial is a superior treatment. You leave with your skin feeling clean, exfoliated, smooth, and hydrated with very little to no irritation or redness at all. I can’t recommended enough trying this treatment for anyone who gets regular facials of any kind.
I left with a few complimentary acne products from Dr. Taheri’s line that I can’t wait to try and see how they help. He also provided me a prescription for a few non-​invasive and generic acne treatments as well. I’ll plan to update this review in a few months on my skin results after trying his recommendations.
Final Verdict:
All and all this is, hands down, the best Med Spa /​Dermatologist I have ever been to both in Chicago and LA combined. I plan to frequent this office for all my future skincare needs.

I have been a patient of DR Tahari for almost 10 months and Dr Tahari is friendly, caring, and professional and makes his patients his top priority. I have seen tremendous results since I started as his patient.
It is easy to get an appointment and he has a well trained staff that is just as professional as he is.

Called for appointment. Triple-​checked with the secretary that they accepted my insurance as in-​network. Get to appointment and they notified that I’m out of network.
After taking part of the day off work to see a dermatologist it would have cost me too much to take another day off to see someone else. Really wish they could have figured it out when I made the appointment before wasting my time and money.
