This doctor is very easy to talk to. I believe he is a skilled surgeon because I have to really search for any sign of a scar. He makes you feel at ease with his perfect bedside manner. I have been consistently pleased over a span of about 5years so far… I would recommend him to my friends still having babies and my older friends with other concerns.

I’ve been in pain for a very long time. About 4 months my pain became 100x worse and in was in pain every single day. I’ve seen so many specialists and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. I was refagoerred to Dr. Tahery by a relative and it was the best decision. From the first visit he knew I had endo and had to do a lap to confirm. I went to both of his offices and everyone was so nice. He is very reasonably priced too. Dr. Tahery ended up performing the lap surgery and it went great. I am healing nicely and will soon return to work. I trust Dr. Tahery and he’s the only specialist I will ever go to. I live in Vegas and I drive or fly out to see him. He’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, and honest. He doesn’t sugar coat anything and says it how it is. He’s also very compassionate and really listened to my problems and wanted to help me out. I am thankful for Dr. Tahery for helping me go back to my normal self.

I am in my mid 20s and have been seeing Dr. Tahery for a few years now. I can honestly say unless I move out of Los Angeles I will not see another gynecologist. He is so intelligent and skilled at what he does. I never have to wait long in the waiting room and he always takes care of my concerns and takes his time on my visits. Not to mention his staff is amazing as well. Thank you for always taking care of me!

The staff at both of Dr. Tahery’s locations are nice, professional and efficient. The office is always clean, the exam rooms are clean and comfortable. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 –10 minutes to be called in for my appointment. Dr. Tahery is a phenomenal gynecologist. He is very knowledgeable, resourceful, patient and very thorough in his care for his patients. He has made a world of difference in my life and I highly recommend him. I believe I have found a doctor for life!!! Thanks for taking care of me Dr. Tahery!!!

Scheduling and reminder system is excellent. Staff is friendly and organized. Dr. Tahery is the best. I have never felt so relaxed and comfortable with a gynecologist in my entire life. Interesting, he explains the exam as he is doing it and it isn’t awkward, wasn’t for me anyway. He explains findings after too. He doesn’t rush or appear flustered. Very nice and friendly demeanor. Good energy. Makes me not dread going back for routine visits. I also go to the Glendale office… it is the same. Great. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Tahery and staff have done a wonderful job of taking care of my wife during her pregnancy. The location is convenient, the building has close parking, and the doctor-​patient experience has been nothing but pleasant.

I have visited 3 gynecologist throughout my lifetime. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Tahery. All I can say is that he is an amazing human being. He makes you feel comfortable. He listens and he takes care of you, like he’s taking care of his own family member. He is very passionate about what he does and he’s there to help in any way possible. He will take the extra step to make you well. Love they way he treats his patients. His staff is very friendly and they make you feel right at home, and a priority. Thank you again for an amazing experience you provide at your practice.

The one star is for convenient location, otherwise none. This is the typical med office where its about everything but not taking care of the patients. All I needed was a routine lab work which is usually performed by the nurse. Ok, i get it, money is the problem! So the doctor unnecessarily had to see me, and unnecessarily had to perform a sonogram which added another $ 40 to my copay. And he was OK until I stated that all the procedures will be done in east coast and that all I needed was the lab tests. Then he totally lost interest and dumped me to his unorganized assistants who didn’t know what were doing. I left with the promise that they will call me as soon as they have the results and will also fax everything to my east coast doctor. It took me over 5 phone calls until they released the information (incomplete, the sonogram i paid for was never sent). During the week I got a vague VM from the doctor saying to call the office. I did call the office but got bounced around– the doc is not here, he will be back Wednesday, hmm we are in lunch right now, I will take a message, I will leave e note for the doctor to call you etc etc. Never happened!!!
Instead, my east coast doctor called me to let me know that a parameter of my blood work is above the norm and that I should follow with my primary physician! So to sum it up: they charged my insurance and me, did all this necessary tests and never heard from them! Not even to let me know about the results!!! I am a doctor myself and I take care of patients everyday and I know exactly what ‘taking care’ and ‘caring’ actually means! Oh and not to mention that the doctor prescribed me a medication to which I told him that once I had an allergic reaction and he still gave it to me just so I could wake up the next morning with a swollen face!

Dr. Michael Tahery is AMAZING!!! He is gentle, caring and very understanding. He listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions. His staff are very friendly and helpful. Prior to my surgery he met with me, to make sure I was okay and not nervous. After waking up from surgery, he came to the recovery room, to check up on me, ask me how I was feeling and wanted to make sure I wasn’t in any pain. The BEST Gynecologist!!!

Dr. Tahery’s bedside manner is superb! He is extremely compassionate and he makes me look forward to my visits. I can honestly say that I have never in my life been to a doctors office and EVERYONE was so kind. They are rated#1 in my book!

He was the first obgyn I have ever made an appointment with and I literally was scared for my life going to this visit. But he is so professional and made me feel so at ease. The office staff are friendly as well, and making appointments is never an issue. Usually I find having to wait a month in advance for appointments at any other offices, but I didn’t have this problem with Dr. Tahery. The only issue is the traffic to get there, but honestly if you want a doctor that is going to make you feel comfortable pick him!

I don’t know where to begin.
My first and only visit, the office staff forgot to write my appointment in the book although I had made and confirmed it a week prior. The office was disorganized looking and dim and no one was exceptionally polite or helpful. Since I had traveled a long way I was «allowed» to stay since the doctor had an opening at my scheduled appt time anyway. Weird right? My gut told me to leave, but since we traveled so far we chose to stay.
The doctor didn’t come in for another 2 hours after that time still! We went around the corner to eat a late lunch and got a call he was back in the office so we ran back (2.5 hours now past the scheduled appointment time) and actually was reprimanded by the doctor about being late! What!!! Ugh.
The rest of the appointment actually went all right. It was very quick and I was not given a throughout exam but since I had seen a couple doctors already and had brought recent imaging results, that did not bother me. I was instructed where to shave myself prior to the surgery (later I found out you should not shave yourself prior to surgery, the surgeon should on the op table to ensure you don’t get an infection). I felt confident when I left he would be the correct surgeon to address my health issues. That was until…
In the weeks following, the office kept forgetting to schedule my surgery with Cedars (the hospital they would have used for my procedure). Finally it was scheduled only because of my own persistence, then I never heard from this office again until the week OF my surgery. I called in the weeks prior because I was told I should have received pre-​op & post op information a few weeks before my surgery, by friends and family that had surgery experience. My calls were never returned. Finally 4 days before surgery, a staff member called and told me I needed to have new lab test done. So I gently expressed my concerns regarding what appeared to be a lot of office disorganization and also inquired where to get the lab test done since I was not local to the facility. I was upset I was not told this earlier than 4 days before the surgery. Apparently that was grounds to receive a call from Tahery yelling at me, calling me names and berating me in general. I have witnesses to the call as well since there were others in the room and I put the call on speaker. I will not write what was said by the doctor in this review, but it was awful. I shared the details of the call with my insurance company who told me to cancel the surgery asap and discontinue seeing this office.
I wish the story ended there. In the months following we have been over billed and doubled billed for things. Little things, during that 1 visit that was all of 10 minutes. They took 3 months to even bill my visit to the insurance company (which is way outside of the norm fyi). My Visa was charged for a copay once and yet I received another bill for my copay. In fact if I wasn’t so meticulous about my files, they would have gotten away with extra money!
I urge anyone to comb through the filtered negative reviews because all of them spot on and describe my overall experience here. In fact, I would have to agree the most with the review that referred to Tahery as a charlatan. In all my years I have never dealt with a medical facility this poor. I can’t even speak to this guy’s skills as a surgeon which I’m sure are fine, but professionalism, kindness, legit billing practices and office organization are not.

I had my first visit today. Waze makes you take the alley, which is where the parking lot is but if it’s full there is one hour street parking nearby. The office is clean, small and quiet, and Delena is pleasant. The wait was minimal and the rooms are clean and bright. I had my 2 year old in the umbrella stroller and we maneuvered easily, although the elevator up was quite small. I only waited a few minutes for the doctor, which was unusual in all of my medical experiences, and Lucy was efficient with her vitals. He hit the ground running with questions and I don’t think we were formally introduced, which I thought was weird but didn’t take offense. I was never rushed or interrupted, I was respected as a mother taking care of her child (I made my appointment the day before so I couldn’t find a sitter last minute!) and when I informed him of my last delivery experience and why I want a new OB, he was compassionate and understanding, and informed me of his preferred method of practice. He’s fine with doulas or NP’s present and unmediated labor and delivery, which is what we want again; but without attitude or demeaning words! I am looking forward to building a relationship with him and his staff, but so far I like it. I read all the reviews and made sure to call my insurance and confirm that he is in network and contracted, he is for me (!) so I am confident in the charges we may accrue. Do your due diligence when looking for a new doctor so you aren’t surprised, that simple! Lastly, I had 12 minutes left on my meter and wasn’t rushed at all!!!

Love this doctor. Sweet, kind, courteous, smart, thorough, super patient. Nice staff. I have referred all my friends to him. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tahery for many years. I wouldn’t have it any other way. He is the best! He really knows his stuff and I am very comfortable with him. He is a superstar when it comes to surgeries and he knows a woman’s mechanism from A-​Z. His staff at this office is nice, but honestly the staff in Glendale is even nicer. Thank you Dr. Tahery for always taking care of me!

If you are a female with any kind of medical issues with your lady bits that you need to get worked out. Dr. T is the man. I’m not gonna go all into it ’cause that’s none of y’all’s business but I’ll just say this. Dr T is very accessible, professional, knowledgeable and all out a nice guy. I’m a very avid supporter of energetic hygiene especially when it comes to healthcare. if you are going to have a Doctor who is dealing with your holiest of holies, that Doctor needs to have a good energy about them. They have to love what they do and they have to be likable and like YOU. I can’t have you down there and interacting with me if we don’t like each other. This is too important of a relationship for there to be any tension or awkwardness. Besides his STELLAR bedside manner, he is patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. While I was dealing with a common but scary issue, he and his staff made me feel like I was their only patient. To give you an example, one of the many times I visited his Santa Monica office for testing, I was laid up in the torture chair (JK) and his nurse took care to make sure I was covered as people were constantly entering and exiting the testing room. It couldn’t be helped. I was having a lot done, but the fact that she was being considerate enough to look out for me like that spoke VOLUMES. You know how you go to most doc’s offices and they just lay you up and make you feel like you are just a slab of flesh? Not this place. Their level of professionalism is off the charts and Dr T is amazing. If my next gig doesn’t have Dr. T on the plan I’ll gladly pay for my own insurance just so I can keep him. I don’t see any other Doc being any better. Considering the reasons that brought me to him, I couldn’t have had a better experience. All of the positive things everyone has said about him here are true. I have to once again give his staff a special shout out because they work hard and made me feel so cared for. It wasn’t like I was just another body. They treated me like a person and they are fantastic… the lot of them. I’m very thankful.

Dr. Tahery is the best doctor I have ever visited. He is kind, empathetic, compassionate, and incredibly easy to talk to. I feel very fortunate to have found him. Dr. Tahery makes sure you leave his office feeling at ease and confident with your course of treatment. When I came to him, I was having a lot of pain in my lower abdomen. Dr. Tahery was able to diagnose and treat the problem very quickly. He is an incredibly talented surgeon and is able to perform surgeries that are minimally invasive but extremely effective. On top of all that, he is very intelligent and has a wonderful heart. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Tahery is the best. He has been my ob/​gyn for a year but he is great. All doctors should be like him. He takes his time to explain your issues and then determine the best way to proceed.

I love Dr Tahery! He has been my ob/​Gym for over 8 years, delivered my first and only child. I had a c-​section and my scar is barely visible. The experience was great!
