Every once in a great long while everyone will come across a dining experience so poor you just have to laugh and shake your head in disbelief. Eating at Daniel’s «Bistro» at the Tom Bradley Intl terminal will allow you to achieve that, easily. If you are waiting to board your plane, proceed through the security checkpoint, because from what I understand much better food awaits. If you are in the position that I was in, waiting with a significant other or friend before they catch their flight out, do yourself a favor and do not eat here. My girlfriend and I had planned on eating dinner while we waited for her departure. We went against our better judgement because it was going to be another five weeks before we would see each other again and when we were scouting things out online the night before, we did not know that the decent restaurants were accessible after going through the security check point. Imagine our disappointment when we found out this was the only place available that offered a cooked meal. I ordered the turkey club and she ordered the fish taco. My turkey club consist of some pre cut turkey luncheon meat and a non nondescript white cheese pressed between two pieces of ciabatta. NO lettuce, no tomato and no bacon. WTF?! The fish taco was a bit more presentable. They just fried up a couple frozen fish fillets and topped it with some shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. All of it was fast food grade quality and overpriced. The service ranged from disinterested at best to passive aggressive disrespectful like walking away in the middle of taking an order or picking up a cup by the rim when giving a refill. These guys must hate their jobs and it shows. I only wish my phone’s service was available before I decided to order because I was trying to look at what Unilocal users were saying about this claptrap and couldn’t get an Internet connection. Either way, I hope my review will keep people from making the same mistake I made in eating here.

Wow super $$$$$ and the food is mediocre at best. This is really an emergency pit stop if you are running late for your flight and you are starving. We ordered a really expensive salad and a super $$$$ and sweet bbq chicken pizza. I should have just waited and ate at the many restaurants past the security point. The only reason we ate here was because we wanted to have our last meal with my parents before our flight.

Worst ham panini ever. The bread wet & soggy on the inside. The sandwich was gooey flavorless. Disgusting!

Worst place ever. They deserve zero stars. Unprofessional employees. They seem miserable and hate their jobs. Let someone who needs a job have yours if you are going to suck that bad. Super rude! The food is gross and way too overpriced. They were sold out of almost everything. I ended up eating the chicken wings. They were horrible and didn’t even get a discount because they were out of celery sticks! Worst place. I asked for an extra ranch since I couldn’t get celery sticks and the guy was hesitant but gave me one. Go to the Starbucks one building down. Much better!!!

I hate this place. I don’t know who and where they hired ALL their lazy and unprofessional employees. They are just there to take space while they chat with each other. I think Bön Qui Qui works here. The guy yelling numbers and preparing the food seems to come straight from prison.

Ordered a latte and a hot chocolate since people said drinks were the only thing good here and that the latte was good. Nope. No. Wtf. My latte tasted watery, no coffee flavor at all whatsoever. Same with the hot chocolate but I suspected that these were both made from a dispensing machine that you just push the button and the powder and water combine. They probably needed to refill or fix their machine cause it tasted horrible. I really needed coffee so I had asked them if I can get the red eye instead(coffee + espresso) which was the only drink that was the closest to my latte price. And I would only be loosing around $.30. Untold them my issue that it tasted watered down and if I could switch and they refused and said they couldn’t do that. I asked if I can get a regular coffee and they said that would be fine but I would be loosing over $ 1.50 for some crap coffee. No can do. So I had to speak to the manager and of course she had to oblige. Got my coffee which still had a weird taste to it but I doctored it up. Whatevs. Don’t try this unless you’re in desperate need of coffee.

LAXSUX. So say we all. Whether it be the nicotine starved Asians rushing outside to smoke or the traveler who gets personal attention from TSA. Definitely the city father’s should visit Franfurt or Munich or Hong Kong on how to build a civilized airport. Daniels is waaaay overpriced but they are high because they are here. The only sit-down game in town. A lot of the seats are taken by cheapskates that just sit and do not patronize them so I guess the rest of us pay for the picnickers. Almost $ 14 for a brisket pannini. Wafer thin and fatty meat, it tasted ok, the plate came with a small salad with a passable vinaigrette and should have been priced $ 5.00 cheaper. But– if you want to eat at the disaster of an airport, then this is really the only restaurant around.

It’s Ina very good location because there are no other options, but it is not the best option. This bar/bistro had foods at very high prices and had very slow service. I ordered a pizza and fish tacos and 15 mins after I ordered they told me that there was no more pizza so I waited an additional 15 mins for my replacement. The chicken wings were delicious, but I didn’t enjoy the fish tacos too much. If you have an option to eat anywhere else than choose that place. If not, too bad. You’re gonna be disappointed eating here.

Overpriced due to mono poly at the location. … kind of understandable. Bad food. … less so. Rude customer service. … unacceptable! 25 minutes for greasy panini and when I complained I got a snooty«well, it’s here now». The manager has to realize that there are many potential customers that would return if they’re locals and often pick up people. Labeling the food on display for non-English speakers and keeping tables free for actual customers would be another upgrade of service. BTW, asking customers to keep their feet of tables and chairs, Joana, is appreciated by some.

This place has some of the absolute worst service I’ve ever encountered. I’m not a coffee snob nor am I that difficult to please, but their absolute BAD customer service will turn anybody off. I ordered a café mocha and the cashier wasn’t listening, so she plugged in a regular coffee and I let her know this. She showed her full annoyance for needing to change her own mistake. Then I waited while they took other peoples’ «easier» orders(soda, cold sandwiches, etc.) while I continued to wait for mine. Two of the«baristas» were just standing around playing with their phones, and the cashier looked at me without saying a word knowing that I was waiting for an order. When I finally got the attention of one of the workers, she asked me abrasively, «What do you want?». So i told her that I ordered this drink and she asked me twice if I had ordered it already. Twice! On top of waiting. I work in customer service too, and the type of service I provide to the public is not nearly as easy as their job. True unprofessionalism shows here, and it is such a bad place to be doing business where people from around the world arrive to get their firsr LA «welcome».

Unilocal 365 Review Challenge 2014 — Los Angeles #50 — #365 I really really miss the old café in the arrival area before they did this massive renovation in the Tom Bradley International Terminal and replaced it with this, «TOURISTTRAP»(Daniel’s Bistro + Bar). While the aesthetics look pleasing to the eye, don’t let that fool you with their overpriced food and quality that’s equivalent Costco. I take that back, Costco is way better than the food here! When I’m picking up family, I like to snack on something while I’m waiting to help pass the time. I ordered the Strawberry Crêpe and that was ok but not worth $ 11.50! I had the burnt pepperoni pizza and that was a waste of $ 14.16. Service here can be good to just plain unprofessional!

Is there zero star option??? The food is was waaaaaaay overpriced and no such thing as customer service. I asked for napkins and they gave me TWO. And the cashier made me so welcome, NOT. Wow… this place is not a bistro. Its just a cafeteria… the only reason why this place is packed is cuz its the only restaurant open in tom bradley intnl. never again.

With the recent renovation of the Tom Bradley International Terminal, it was nice to find Daniels Bistro + Bar on the first floor Arrival Level of the airport. Waiting for loved ones to come home makes it that much more bearable when I can grab a quick drink or bite. While they go through customs, I’m downing some $ 10 Vodka Sodas. Not too shabby, considering the airport tax. BURP. MENU Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fish Tacos, Onion Rings, French Fries, Pizza, Soup, Paninis, Wraps, Salads, Crepes, Breakfast Croissants, Coffee, Espresso, Soda, Red Bull, Chips, Nuts, Fruit, Water. HARDLIQUOR Tanqueray, Beefeater, Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose, Absolut, Ketel One, Patron, Casadores, Jack Daniels, Crown Royal, Johnnie Walker Black. It’s ironic that the booze is something that most Asians tend to drink. International in the most obvious sense. BEER&WINE Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light, Shock Top are on tap. Bottles include Stella Artois, Pacifica, Heineken, Modelo, Corona. Some cheap red and white wine. It’s interesting what you notice when you’re waiting and time seems to stand still. Service is mediocre at best. I had to remind the bartender that she had my credit card, in order to start a tab. The drinks were poorly made. My niece could make a better mix. Flat screen TV’s and people watching are your forms of entertainment. You can watch the walls change color as well. The front part is the café, with several tables that make up the dining area. The back side is the bar, with lounge chairs behind that. Beats waiting amongst the crowd and the needless commotion. CHEERS.

What? You’re waiting for a flight and it’s been delayed by at least an hour? shocking. Well, might as well grab a bite to eat. Hmm, there’s only one noticeable sit-down place to eat in the arrivals area, Daniel’s Bistro & Bar… DON’T DOIT! Seriously, remember that there’s also a departure area upstairs and there are MUCHBETTER food options up there. Just find the nearest escalator, elevator or stairs, people. That lovely, convenient option downstairs will drive you to acts of terrorism thanks to their super Super SUPER slow service, hijacked prices, and worse-than-mediocre food quality. Just don’t do it. And don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Located in Los Angeles International Airport(one of the most crummiest places to be) they have this Daniels Bistro and Bar. It is next to this large exit where people are coming from a lot of different countries. While waiting for my dad to come back from China I sit and have a drink at this place. You can see all the people exiting while you are sitting down and sipping on whatever it may be. I kind of like it, also like the variety of things that they do serve. They have a good number of staff members to make the things that you order and to help with the cash register. So if you are at the LAX and need a drink alcoholic or just a cup of joe Daniels Bistro and Bar has it all !
