Carne asada burrito was gross. No sides like rice or beans or anything on plate! Had to ask for sauces. Ordered with melted cheese on top and the whole thing tasted nuked. Not going back.

We thought we just might finally have a decent Mexican restaurant to go to. So tried here. It has been open 4 weeks. Chile relleno had good flavor and was not too salty. Rice was very industrial and refried beans looked like they were regurgitated, guess that’s normal. Flour tortillas were store bought and steam reheated, which made them dry and hard once they cooled. Burrito carnitas meat was dry and hard. Burrito itself was very dry. Now. The kicker! How do you mess up a diet Coke? The syrup to soda water ratio was off and it tasted really bland, even with no ice. Iced tra, they have only sweet tea, so not an option for the sugar-free community. And if it is not sweet enough for you, you can add either sugar or the pink stuff. Giving 2 stsrs only because the chile relleno was decent. Maybe it should be 1 star… .

Would like to try but standing outside at 1:10 pm on a Sunday and the blinking sign says open but the doors are locked and no one inside? That already says a lot. Hopefully will be able to try if it is open someday.

I was very surprised to see that the only other review for this restaurant provided a 5 star rating. It is not possible. Even though the restaurant is newly opened, the dust build up around the walls is already heavy. My husband and I were looking forward to a good Mexican restaurant to open near us, and we went in last night for dinner. The server/host was a very pleasant kid, but he was obviously inexperienced, and he was working the room on his own. Later in the evening, another kid came in to assist. This may have made a difference in the service, but it was close to when we were finishing our meal. The food was extremely slow to come out. Our server brought out my husbands entrée first, without bringing my meal which was only a bowl of soup). We waited several more minutes, and my husbands meal started to get cold. He called over the server and asked him to please return it to the kitchen to keep it warm until he could bring out my soup. A few more minutes went by, when my soup was finally served, but without my husband’s meal. We sent him back to get his meal, and it was brought back to our table. The meal was served with no dressing on the salad, the wrong tortilla’s, frajita’s on a regular dinner plate(not a hot pan, as you would typically experience), no soup spoon, and our water glasses went un-replenished for more than a half hour. The server made separate trips to the kitchen to retrieve each item… individually! Even in refilling our water glasses, he took one at a time to fill them back up(after we asked). As for the food: The chips and salsa are an additional charge of $ 5.00(not typical at a Mexican restaurant), the soup was very poor in taste(and lukewarm), the salad had browning lettuce and was served on the same ‘warm’ plate as the frajita’s, and the bean dip was dried out. . Needless to say, we were terribly disappointed. We will not be going back to this restaurant.
