Fine neighborhood place. They barbecue chicken out front in great quantities, you know it’s fresh.

Ok, I shoulda given them 5 stars, but I have to be honest, only because the day I went, they didn’t have their set up outside on the drive way, like they normally do, so for that we were forced to go inside, which is really what the statement says«Hole in the Wall», tiny establishment w/total 4 tables that take up the space of the entire place, and to top it off, it was a work/weekday lunch hour, entire place filled up w/laborers & the added bonus of the table in the middle w/a very rude man who had no shame in staring at me/us the whole time, but also wouldn’t budge as I tried to squeeze through to get my order. Ok, I said it, there. Now on to the positive, agreed their tacos are really good, I also do agree w/the other review, they beat King Taco(which is extremely overated, not good & expensive), any given day… you get the real authentic quality, the traditional choices, although was sad they didn’t have chicharones that day :( but that was ok, they still have lengua, carnitas, pollo & ofcourse Asada, yummy! They have other items on the menu too, not a whole lot, but enough to satisfy the need to get you going… The ladies that work there are very nice & friendly, one of them looks like she could be your mom, or your favorite tia, cute & busting her rump trying to keep on top of cooking the orders & cleaning… another good point, for being little its kept up very well & clean. Will definitely keep going back, its local, cheap, delicious & also love to support our local businesses, although that one experience could have been better & maybe the next time we can be outside and have some room to enjoy(they usually have the tables & grill outside), the one nice thing was there was a group of polite firefighters that offered their table to us while we were waiting, so nice to know there are still alot of good people out there w/manners…

I mean if you want some down home Mexican tacos then this little place is where you go. From carne asada to tacos de lengua, it doesn’t matter what you order you will enjoy it. It’s fast and simple to order. It’s kinda funny how they were cooking outside in the driveway under a tent. It was nice because they weather was cool and they had tables and seating under the shade of a tent outside as well. I really enjoyed my self.

Wow, I’m the first to review this place. Forget about King Taco or Tacos El Gavilan, they can’t compare to the tacos at Erika’s Tacos. The place is small, very clean and friendly service. You could easily drive by this place, which is not good, but if you see it out of the corner of your eye then pull over and have some great tacos. I ordered 3 tacos and a Arizona can tea. Total $ 4.74. Carne Asada, Chicken and Caritas, all came with onions cilantro and your chose of red or green sauce. I did stay and eat, when I started to walk out a young guy asked me if that was my truck with the Impeach Obama sticker on it. Yes it is. He then said will I disagree, ok cool, we both have are political views. We talked about it for about 15 minutes on many different subjects. It was very cool to see someone not get into a argument. From two very different backgrounds and understand what he is talking about. A rare site in East Los Angeles. A White Conservative Republican(46)and a Liberal Spanish American(about 25). Erika’s Tacos, great food, service, and friendly customers that knows what’s going on in the world. I’m I really in ELA. I’ll be back for the tacos and sopas very soon. 3 tacos and drink. $ 4.74
