«My name is Michael Dilella, I am the owner and administrator of the financial counseling center. I have been in business for over 25 years and have been helping people to understand what options they have in regards to any consumer related Issue, whether its bankruptcy, foreclosures, debt reorganization or financial future planning, we make sure that you understand every single option you have before making any decisions.

We are always available for phone and/​or personal consultations, we are located in the greater Los Angeles area but we also service Santa Ana, San Bernandino and the San Fernando area.

We are local, reliable and with a great reputation for helping people. You can call us anytime.

I have dedicated 25 years of to debt counseling helping people understand what options they have in very complicated financial situations.

We build a road map of options depending on your particular circumstances.

We like to build trust through education. We take the time to listen to your situation in order to assess and determine the best options.

Michael helped us see the big picture. We met with him for help in planning for a home purchase, building our small business credit, and leasing/​purchasing commercial property. We probably won’t see him again because he specializes in other areas like bad credit, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and debt… but he was willing to spend an hour with us at no cost. His knowledge of the real estate market, credit & banking institutions, and running a business helped us adjust our goals and expectations. This is huge! He’s straightforward and kind. Come prepared with your questions and you’ll get a lot out of meeting with him… especially if it’s in his specialty areas where he can help beyond just one meeting. Wow!!! To anyone and I mean anyone who reads this review understand FIRST that as I write this review I have yet to meet Michael in person and I just got off the phone with him. Not to sound any less of a man but I’m in tears. Im currently having housing problems and financial problems with some decisions that I’ve done but I called his offices because of the reviews. I didn’t think they were THAT CLOSE TO THE TRUTH. About compassion, experience, free consultation. I honestly thought the «free consultation» as to get me to the Wilshire area to get me to waste gas to go there BUT! Michael answer d the phone himself I told him my exact problem HONESTLY because I had to be honest about the problem and he told me exactly what to do!!! Didn’t need to go to the office or spend my MUCH NEEDED GAS TO HET THERE! HE TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT TO DO ON THE PHONE. Wow! Honesty! Straight forward. He explained the law and what I could do. He brought me to tears because he gave me the laws about credit, the timeline and amount of days I have and how the accounts can be easily worked out at my stage of the game. He DID NOT LURE ME TO HIS OFFICES FOR A PAYMENT AND UNNECESSARY STUFF HE COULD OF TOLD ME ON THE PHONE. Thank you for your customer service Michael. You and your wife and company are a prime example of what caring is. I applaud my decision to call you today. Once again thank you.
Update: I just called all my credit accounts including my auto loan and all is well and nothing has effected my credit. All of them were willing to work with me.

He was very honest and personable about my financial outlook and helped lay out a couple good different options for my husband and I to get us back on track financially. He is an expert financial counselor (with about 30 years of experience), is generous with his time, and has been patient in answering all of our questions and concerns. Michael Dilella helped me resolve a tricky financial situation back in the United States while I was living in France and unable to travel. He did all the communicating with the financial agency and relayed the information back to me by email. It was a LOT less stressful to not to be having those difficult phone conversations with the financial agency myself from overseas late at night with the nine-​hour time difference, not being sure what to ask, having to call back, trying to figure it out on my own… I’m happy to say my situation was successfully resolved thanks to Michael’s assistance so I am relieved and at ease, finally.

Michael makes this very easy; he is personable, funny, and realistic. I have never spoken with a financial planner and had several very specific questions. The internet is full of answers, that are all different, and I needed a professional. Michael answered the phone and offered me a free consultation in person but then we got to talking and he was able to fully answer all my questions fully with no confusion. So straight forward. He knew exactly what I was asking. This is new to me and it’s a bit intimidating discussing finances, especially when you screwed them up a bit. There was no need for me to go in to see him in person anymore but he still made me feel so welcomed to come in and discuss anything in the future.
