Good food and honest opinion is they have better service then food but that is because they have awesome personalities. The food is pretty good, and the sauce is really what makes it. I am rating the overall experience because that is truly what you get when you eat at this truck. Smart, well spoken young people who are hip and very business savvy.

I’m having a hard time writing this review because I keep drooling over my keyboard. The hype is real and the Grilled Fraiche truck delivers the best chicken & rice bowl I’ve ever had. I love how the meat is charred to give it that backyard BBQ flavor, and the grilled veggies, herbs and seasoning included with the jasmine lime rice combine in a symphony of savory. Their egg rolls are stuffed full and fat; you can actually see them glisten as you pick one up for a decadent bite. I’m still not sure I know what ‘Cali-Caribbean fusion’ means, except that it comes with some kickin’ jerk sauce, but when the food is this good I don’t need to think. Fans of Grilled Fraiche know what’s up and they go the distance to get their fix. I went for lunch with my coworkers when the truck was in Culver City, and a friendly pastor in line ahead of us said that he had come all the way from Long Beach to eat. So be careful because you just might get addicted too. Although 2 big factors stand in your way: their location and schedule isn’t regular or consistent, and the prices are steep for a food truck(I paid $ 20 for my chicken/rice bowl plus egg rolls). Still, the high quality and service are top-notch and I wish Grilled Fraiche all the best as they make their mark on the LA food scene!

Love, love, love the grilled salmon, veggies and jasmine rice with their«special» sauce. Have to have this for dinner at least once a week. The portions are generous, and I can get two meals out of one order. Oh, and be sure to try the bread pudding. I’m normally not a huge fan of bread pudding, but theirs is something special!

Ok let me start off by saying that the pictures of the food look better than it actually tastes. I was honestly disappointed. The food is just alright. It’s good but it’s def not worth the price. I got two shrimp bowls with the jerk sauce, rice and mixed greens. I wanted grilled veggies but they ran out. The total came out to almost 30 dollars and I’m thinking to myself this better be worth it and it wasn’t. I wasn’t even full after which was the saddest part. I would rather spend my money at a sit down restaurant that serves the same food or if not better and get more. Note to truck. give more food or cut down your prices. Not worth it.

I had the grilled chicken and shrimp bowl with quinoa and grilled vegetables. The food was awesome. The owner and staff were professional and courteous. Hospitality was very good including providing chairs and small dinner tray for their customers. Amazing food truck.

If you love Carribean inspired food as much as I do, this food truck is your cure. I got the chicken bowl with brown rice and mixed veggies topped with the jerk sauce. The sauce has just enough kick to «knock ya momma out.» OH! And they add a delicious portion of plantain to accompany the dish. They are a little on the slower side with getting the food out, I suppose that is due to the fact that everything is grilled THROUGHLY– something I appreciate. So if you don’t mind a long wait(20 – 30 mins) than I highly recommend their food.

Had the Shrimp bowl with jasmine rice. Awesome! But the icing on the cake was the bread pudding. EDub has got something fierce in the bread pudding that made my wife and I turn the car around to go back for a second piece the other day.

THEBESTFOODTRUCKEVER… only problem is that i got super horny waiting for my food cause they were blasting marvin gaye’s lets get it on and someone pointed out my boner in front of my coworkers. Anyways these fools really know how to work the grill and I promise you that you can’t find a better chicken bowl anywhere in LA. Plus they ain’t stingy on the meat which is cooked with a slight char and served over a bed of rice and grilled veggies, then topped with your choice of sauces and a grilled plantain as proverbial the cherry on top.

Pretty pricey for a truck, but very delicious. My coworkers and I agree — the meats are always grilled to perfection and the flavors are mouthwatering. Personal fave = shrimp, quinoa, grilled veggies, Antiguan Jerk sauce.

So glad to have this option in my neighborhood! I had the chicken bowl combo with brown rice, grilled veggies, and ETB sauce. Everything was fresh & delicious, the ETB sauce is sweet and a little spicy. Very generous portion — they packed a lot of chicken into that bowl. The bread pudding was very good, no too sweet. Saw some shrimp because by grilled while I was waiting for my order — they were huge. I will be trying those next time.

If you loved fresh ingredients and grilled food this is the truck to follow. The bowls are a hardy portion. Ive had the chicken bowl with veggies, and the cabbage egg rolls(my mouth watered as I wrote that) with ETB and Jerk Sauce on the side. The chicken is juicy and the veggies compliment the bowl so well, healthy and delicious. The egg rolls are so crispy with so much flavor. I follow the truck on IG they post a list of their exact location which is so convenient. @grilledfraiche

I love the service, the food and the options. So good lean meals to choice from and made fresh to order. I do not mind the wait for something made to order. No heat lamps required. The plantains, OMG to die for. Oh yeah don’t forget bread pudding.

The food here is definitely worth it. It is made fresh so it is a little wait for the food but I don’t mind the wait. They have a few chairs outside so you don’t have to stand up the whole time you wait for your food. I got a chicken bowl over brown rice with egg rolls and dessert. I will for sure be back again.

I ate here with a group of friends and not one of us was disappointed! Menu items are grilled shrimp, chicken or salmon and Brown rice, jasmine or Quinoa, veggie egg rolls and bread pudding for dessert. I had the chicken/shrimp combo with ETB sauce and Quinoa. It’s was simply amazing. Big portions so I had more for later. We shared the veggie egg rolls and ended up ordering more because the were sooo good! There was a bit of a long wait, luckily we got free bread pudding for waiting and it was so good we ordered more. I can’t wait to eat here again and I’ll be telling all my friends about it. Treat yourself to some good food!

It was good. The only thing was, the meat tasted burnt. I like the way they grill the food on the spot but I’m not a fan of burnt food. And they didn’t put too much rice on my plate. Lol but overall, it will fill you up and will satisfy your grilled food cravings for the meantime. PS: To the business, please add more rice and give a generous cut of bananas. Or plantains. Whatever. And extra rice please. Thanks.

If you want fresh caribbean cuisine with a California twist then this is it. The menu is very health conscious and gentle on your waistline. I had the Shrimp Bowl with sauteed vegetables and the ETB sauce. The sauce was spicy, but that didn’t stop me. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned. My stomach was very happy afterwards which is usually the case after eating any of E Dubble’s cooking. His food is consistently fresh and never disappoints. If you see this truck, you must get a taste. You won’t be disappointed.
