James and family did an amazing job on my engagement ring ! Truly one of a kind custom made ring I love it! The design ended up being way better in person then on the CAD draft. Just have faith and let James work his magic ! The attention to detail and craftsmanship of their work is amazing !

My fiancé bought my engagement ring from this jeweler and I cannot be any happier with this ring. Not only was the proposal so special, but the ring made it the perfect icing on the cake.
I hadn’t gone to Hani with my fiancé before our engagement, but we did go engagement ring shopping at other commercial jewelers. We went to get a better idea of what we (I) liked and what our (his) budget was. I remember leaving the shops that day so discouraged with the quality of rings that we saw and their extremely overpriced tags. Obviously I didn’t know my fiancé’s exact budget for the ring, but what I did know is that the quality of the diamond that I have is much higher than what we saw at the major retailers. His experience was the best, as Hani made him feel so comfortable, understood his needs, and recommended him the best for his budget. I get so many complements everywhere I go, and all girls know (let’s be honest) — that that’s a major perk getting engaged. Overall, we are so satisfied with this ring and we will definitely be back! We would recommend this jeweler to anyone that wants QUALITY jewelry and KNOWLEDGEABLE jewelers! The best in LA!

They are absolutely fantastic. A co-​worker and I were window shopping one day and spotted a gorgeous star sapphire in the window, and they waved us in to take a look. Of course, the sapphire is not in my price range, but they didn’t mind us looking at all.
My mom was in town and I took her over there to see it (It’s a stunning ring) and she ended up picking out an aquamarine and having them set it for her in a ring. It was ready the next day, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
They’re really nice, and like talking about jewelry. Great service and staff.

Came here for my wedding band. I had gone to a bunch of other jewelers in the jewelry district and was feeling pretty overwhelmed before I went to Hani. Everyone had been telling me different prices with over a 1000 price range difference. It was hard to know who to trust. What I liked about Hani was that he was not just the shop owner but also the jeweler who would be making the ring. He was very patient in explaining where each part of the costs went to and how my ring would be made. He made me feel comfortable with my purchase and was able to work with my budget.
I had my ring custom made since what I was looking for wasn’t available in my size. He was able to make a wax mold and my setting within a few days and then have all the stones set a few days later. It was extremely fast since I was on a short timeline and came out beautiful. I loved working with Hani and his family and could not be happier with my purchase!

Back again to shop for something beautiful and sparkly!!! I am so in love with my new eternity band. Thank you Ida for such beautiful creations!

I initially bought our engagement ring elsewhere and was unhappy with the final product. My fiancée and I went to Hani to upgrade the engagement ring with a new band, and we were not disappointed. Back in November I purchased an engagement ring for my fiancé from Hani Jewelry. I knew the specific style that I was looking for and relayed this information to James before I made the trip to LA. The level of customer service I received was fantastic — there were already a selection of rings for me to choose from laid out, and they were spot on to what I described I was looking for. The selection and purchase process was seamless, and I even purchased a matching wedding band to go with the engagement ring I selected.

Today I purchased a ring for my fiancée. I would post a photo, but we are modest people and such should only be done for close relatives and friends.
This is a family owned business and Hani does a great job leading the pack! Always honest and top notch with service from start to finish. Hani and Ida are great and now their son works there too. I love the family feel of this place. It is a business that has been there for a long time and you can tell they want to be there for a long time into the future. They aren’t looking for a quick sale but are interested in earning your business so you will come back again and again. They don’t want you to leave until you are completely satisfied. After a long day of engagement ring shopping I ended up coming here and was happy with the result. They had a wonderful selection of diamonds and were very patient with me and they gave me a very fair price. I have already been back twice for other occasions.

I had a great time shopping for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I did it old school and bought one for her without her knowing. I explained that I was looking for a three stoned ring, two princess cuts on the side and a big traditional round diamond in the center. They explained that tradionally in that style of ring all the stones should be the same cut, either all princess or all round, but that Mr. Hani can customize and make anything I wanted. I explained that was important to me as I want the ring to also symbolize my girlfriend’s two daughters (princesses on the side). Hani’s wife is very friendly and showed me different examples of what I wanted in my budget, and I noticed small differences in the selections she showed me. I pointed out what I liked and didn’t. It really helped her narrow down all posibilities, as she just kept bringing out rings with features that I liked, and then BAM! She pulled out the perfect ring.
Their son is a gemologist, has long hair and a cap, which was comforting to me. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain and show me the small differences in the diamonds. There was never any pressure. I would say, «these diamonds are nice, but I would like to see some bigger ones» Haha. I was the one adding the pressure :) Mr. Hani showed me different diamonds until I found one that I liked. He placed it in a device that held it securely and insisted that I take it outside to look at it in the sunlight as most diamonds will look nice under the lights in the store. I was hesitant, but I did it. I took it outside and it still looked amazing. They didn’t even follow me outside. Haha talk about no pressure. They custom made my ring and put it all together. My fiancé was blown away. She had tears in her eyes when I proposed and loves the ring. Thank you Mr. Hani for the awesome experience and great deal that you gave me.

Hani and Ida are fabulous. They took such good care of us! They have a beautiful selection. I have my grandmothers wedding ring and Hani has cleaned it, resized it and added new baskets to make it sturdy and beautiful for our wedding day. They are honest and genuine which is much appreciated!!!

My fiancé and I live right up the street, we went to a slurry of other jewelers and our final stop was Hani. They listened to my vision and I found my perfect ring. Hani, Ida and everyone else at the shop are amazing, accommodating, and understanding. We had sized the ring prior to the proposal, but I had lost some girth in the finger area. Reluctantly, I had to take the ring in to be resized. I threw a heinous fit because «I need it now» (cue the crazy). I rose my voice, whimpered, cried– the whole gamut. And what did Hani do? Quietly, and calmly reassured me, despite the insane shewoman standing in front of him. The job was done flawlessly. Perfect, professional, and timely. Cheers to Hani Jewlers and his business! My husband and I went in looking for a sapphire to set in a platinum band we already had. Ida and her son James helped us pick a lovely stone. There was also a missing stone in my vintage wedding band, and they replaced that. All the work was done overnight – very fast service. They said to bring back my rings for annual cleaning, free of charge. Overall a great experience.

I love my ring. My husband and I are celebrating our 25^th wedding anniversary this year and we wanted to commemorate it with a very special ring. A friend had recommended Hani so we made a visit to their shop earlier this year. I had photos of a round brilliant 3 diamond engagement ring. They made an exact replica of the ring. They went out of their way to find us the perfect diamonds for our budget… it is absolutely beautiful. I get so many complements. Hani and Ida are lovely people… they even came to our home to show us the setting before the diamonds were set. We truly enjoyed the personalized service and the time they took to make us exactly what we wanted. They are very honest, professional and trustworthy. I look forward to our next trip downtown so we can just drop in to say hello.

This is way overdue, about 6 months ago, while we were ring shopping, this was one of the jewelers on my list and we received awful service!
Came in and based on the reviews, which says that they customize, I brought in a picture of a ring I liked and the guy looked at it, angrily asked where I saw this design and when I said Harry Winston, he yelled and told my bf and I to get it there and to get out of his store. Lol, okay… so customer service was obviously not their speciality.
Great way to ruin the ring shopping experience!
