We hired Robert and Anna, last year of 2014 in January for a wedding in August, 2014. The package included both engagement photos and the wedding ceremony. They were to provide a total of 5 people for both videography and photography during the wedding, which they provided. The trouble started on the day they were to do our engagement photos. We were to meet in LA with Robert at 6pm… Robert showed up at 9pm. He finished taking our photos at 2am. I was furious with him, but I had already paid my deposit. I had a talk with Robert and promised not to be late again. Fast forward to the wedding day. Everything was delayed an hour and half, since Robert had 3 photographers take pictures of the wedding venue before the wedding, instead of setting up the equipments. Since the wedding (august 2014), we have had the most frustrating time in trying to get a feed back from Robert or Anna. I had to email Anna more than twice each time to receive a response. According to the contract, we were to receive our album, & videos, two months after the wedding. Guess when we finally received them 10/​03/​2015. A yr and 2 months after our wedding. Be ware if u hire them, expect delays as the norm, & any response u need, it will be at their own convenience. Their customer service is the worst, & especially when you are dealing with people’s most treasured memories. Hire them at your own risk.

Robert is incredible. His prices are reasonable, especially because of how much Robert & Anna personalize every experience. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience with both of them. They’re extremely welcoming, and very laid back.
The studio is relatively small, but deal with it. At least he shoots in an actual studio, and doesn’t require you to come to a random person’s «home studio.»
Aside from their shining personalities, I couldn’t have asked for better work. Robert spent a large amount of time taking photos of me from every possible angle, with various outfits and smiles. Before getting to business, we had a lovely chat about many things. He made me feel comfortable, which I feel enhanced the photos because I didn’t have any nervous energy.
After he was done shooting, Anna spent JUST as long going through all of the photos we took, narrowing it down to what she considered the best by industry standards (this was a commercial headshot session, by the way). Instead of just picking a photo, slapping my name on it and calling it a day — Anna and Robert both explained to me why this photo was the best for what I am trying to accomplish and what it gives off to the viewer. At this point, they could have taken my money, pushed me out the door with my new, shiny headshot, and I would have been happy.
But no. While Anna edited my photo just enough (still natural looking, just less redness on my stupid sensitive skin), Robert grabbed a pile of stuff and sat down next to me. He explained every step I should expect to go through on my climb to the top, and everything I can possibly do to be succesful. He never once tried to «upsell» me or make me feel like I was required to go back to him specifically for any other service that they offered. Working in a customer service/​sales position, I absolutely LOVE when another sales person isn’t pushy with me.
Excuse my novel professing my love for Robert and Anna. They are a fabulous team, with incredible prices, and extensive knowledge. You will not be sorry when you visit them.

I just had my second shoot with Robert and it was such a great experience. Both Robert and Anna treat customers like gold and go out of their way to ensure a fantastic experience.
Robert’s prices are THE BEST and his studio is particularly good for new actors who need great head shots and can’t afford many of the photographers out there. Great head shots for business people, authors, and well, for everyone.
Anna is a delight to work with in selecting your best shots and making the necessary touch ups in Photoshop.
The location is terrific; there are a lot of places in Hollywood where you can’t park, and this is NOT one of them.

Yesterday I would have given Robert four stars for the great photographs I got and the fantastic friendly service and the low price. I walked away with all my proofs and a headshot I was very happy with. Robert and Anna were very friendly and accommodating and he gave me some good tips about the biz. He lost one star for being fifteen minutes late and for the very cluttered and cramped studio.
Today he lost a star because it seems I was referred to him by a very shady outfit masquerading as a casting agency. Since they didn’t ask me for any money but had me rush to Robert for a headshot, I’m thinking they are in cahoots and he gets a kickback. While he seems like a nice guy and has talent as a photographer, I find this really distasteful and disappointing.

Dear Robert and Anna –
I had my headshots taken here in September, 2011. I was satisfied with the photographs, and the price, or else I would have walked out that day and never returned.
I had an appointment for 6 pm. I showed up and had to wait, because the person ahead of me brought two friends, who ALSO decided to have headshots done, spur-​of-​the-​moment. You asked if that would be alright, I said ok, but you didn’t give me a proper estimate of how long it would take. I should have left and come back later. Be honest with your customers.
I snapped a surreptitious cell-​phone picture of just how cramped your office was. You noticed and berated me in front of other customers, which is understandable, as you thought I was going to steal your copyrighted work. I wasn’t. I was going to post it to Unilocal,actually, but deleted it when you asked me to. The point was — I took a picture because there were several chairs in front of your main (and only) entrance, impeding safe exit in the event of an emergency. From an interior design standpoint, your office is cluttered and gets in your own way, limiting workplace productivity and making me exceedingly uneasy. It’s not professional to move boxes to access shelves, and Anna had to spend a lot of time shuffling papers like crazy on the desk, getting me flustered along with her.
After hours of telling me «just ten more minutes,» I nearly walked out. I was nearly faint with hunger. Robert, to get me to stay, you gave me $ 20 for a pizza, which was pretty nice, but seemed like an afterthought band-​aid. It didn’t really solve my problem… which was the disrespect I was shown as a customer.
When I finally got in the chair at 10 pm (four hours after my appointment), I received a well-​meaning lecture about privacy, personal space, and learning to notice and respect personal sensitivities. (!!!) At this point I was fuming but didn’t want to waste my four-​hour wait by walking out.
As a photographer who purports to develop relationships and bring out the best in his subjects, did you not notice my eyes start to glaze? Did you not notice how silent I was, trying to just get through the session quickly? I left close to midnight. You stayed open for me. Great. Your eagerness to make a quick sell to those other kids meant you wasted much of my time.
I chose Hollywood Pro Photography because of its Unilocal reviews, its price, and its location. The photographs are decent — the backdrops make them look like high school yearbook photos. I needed them quickly for some auditions.
I’d like to say you earned my respect, but you lost most of it, and my future business.

I couldn’t wait to get home today to leave Hollywood Pros a review.
I had an incredible time shooting with Robert today. He was so professional and made me feel very comfortable. I’ve worked with several photographers and the men were disgusting… but Robert was very professional and he just knew how to do his job right!
I absolutely admire his work.
Anna was very wonderful as well. She edited my photos right there and I was ready to go.
I highly recommend this place to everyone! I will be brining my dogs here for our Christmas photoshoot: D

This photography studio is one-​of-​a-​kind. Robert and Anna are a most professional, warm, respectable team. I came into the studio to have them take graduation photos, feeling a ton of anxiety and stress because I HATE having my photo taken, and feel I am very un-​photogenic. Robert and Anna assured me I would have fantastic results– which i ABSOLUTELY DID. I cannot explain enough how amazing the turn out was. I will NEVER go anywhere else ever again.
Give your business to them, there is no way you’ll walk out feeling anything less than terrific.

They are good at what they do. I got my first Television job with their work. Anna the graphic artist there can work wonders with your photo.

My boyfriend and I went to get his head shots taken at Hollywood Pro Photography and we had a GREAT experience. Not only is the photographer, Robert, extremely skilled and caring, but Anna, the graphic designer is out of this world. Robert took the time to make sure my boyfriend not only looked his best, but felt his best. He got to know him and made sure that he felt comfortable in each shot. His diligence and eye for detail shows in each and every picture. Because of Robert’s skill, we had such a hard time choosing the final shots because they were all stellar. Anna heightened the experience even more with the retouching. Her graphic artistry skills are amazing and really made a huge difference in the professional quality of the pictures. When I take my head shots, I will be sure to go to Hollywood Pro Photography and wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. My boyfriend and I look forward to working with this company for all of our photography and graphic needs in the future.

The other reviews were spot on. I spent nearly twice as much on headshots for my son and they didn’t come out half as nice as my first set of headshots here. I’ve never looked better! Robert took the time to chat and to give some excellent industry tips for beginners. He offered a very affordable package with lots of great shots, then Ana helped with the selection and retouching of the final shots. You get all your shots on disk the day your pics are taken – no wait. And, they didn’t try to up-​sell or nickel and dime me – what they quoted was what they charged. So to sum it up, they are FAST, FRIENDLY, REASONABLE, HAVE INTEGRITY, and PROVIDE A TOP QUALITY PRODUCT. What more could you hope for?

After reading some encouraging reviews here, I went over to «Hollywood Pro Photography» for some graduation pictures.
I must admit, I was totally blown away by their professionalism, courtesy and results. The overall look of the images looked fantastic and there was no pressure at all to buy any extra service package. Prices are very honest.
It also looked quite busy (must be a good sign), so make sure you get your reservation!
I would recommend this place to anyone needing a photography service of any kind, anytime.

I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE 20 STARTS IF POSSIBLE!!!
First of all, Robert and Anna are nice enough to welcome me on the last minute appointment. Their business hours are incredibly flexible, so even if you have 9 – 5 jobs, you can still go get your picture taken after your work.
Secondly, Robert (the photographer) is such an awesome photographer.
I went there because I wanted to have graduation photos taken, which could be pretty typical and boring. However, he went beyond what graduation photography «should» look like, and put amazing creativity onto it. He is really good at making customers/​models comfortable in front of camera. Hey, this is REALLY important.
Thirdly, needless to say, they have great deals. Probably best deals in all studios around Hollywood. Who can give you a disc with ALL the pictures in professional quality? I am pretty positive they are the ONLY exception!
In addition, they seem really good at retouching too. Your skin can get toned up, smoothed and everything, but it still keeps natural-​human being-​looking. (you know there are so many «retouchers» who retouch way too much so pictures look like mannequins today.)
So, i promised with them to definitely come back.
Weather or not you are a model/​actor, it is worth to get pictures taken by a great professional photographer once in a while since you live once, and you are always the youngest today in the rest of your life =)

There is a reason why EVERYONE is giving Hollywood Pro Photography Studios five stars. I understand this review is long as hell but I just had to share my experience.
I recently moved to Hollywood from Texas and was expecting to get screwed by everyone for the simple fact that I have no clue of how this business worked. Rob and Anna were recommended to me by a casting agency and since I needed head shots I decided to give them a ring.
I set up an appointment (same day service!) and at first was kind of regretting my decision since I am very poor but I knew I had to get them done sooner or later (to clarify they also have the best prices in hollywood, which I later found out). To make sure I was making the right choice, I decided to look up their studio online to see if they were worth it. After reading all the pleasant reviews I was both excited and re-​assured to go in for my first head shots.
I arrived early, and when I walked into the office I instantly felt at home. I was not only greeted warmly by both Rob and Anna, but they took the time out of their day to actually get to know me and introduce me to all of the other people who were in the studio. We laughed, we shared personal stories, we watched some netflix… ALL BEFORE MY PICTURE WAS EVEN TAKEN!!! (I arrived about an hour early lol)
Once Rob took me back to take my photo’s he could tell I was feeling a little nervous, and since he took the time to get to know me a little, he knew just how to calm me down and started talking to me about what interested me. Not just surface bs, but he somehow found out how to delve into what truly inspired me. Instead of barking orders and snapping the shutter, he took only seconds to correct the meticulous mistakes that non pro’s make and made sure that I looked my absolute best. After shooting around 200 pictures, Rob had become my friend, and not just some merchant who’s product I was interested in.
When we finished our shooting, he led me out to talk to Anna and have my photo’s touched up. Even though Rob was busy and had more shooting to do, he kept coming out to check on me and made sure we chose the best of the best pictures for my head shots. Thats when Anna began to work her AMAZING BLACK MAGIC on my photographs and meticulously turned this ugly mug into a dashing King. Anna was so kind while she worked that we just laughed the entire time talking about stories of our lives and making me feel even more comfortable.
When we were finished, they both sat me down and walked me through the ins and outs of this business and taught me how to not succumb to the thousands of scammers in this city. They even walked me through how to get work with my new head shots and make money so I can thrive here.
Rob and Anna not only provide an amazing service, but give you the most valued lesson of all. Leaving their shop, I felt like I had been given the wisdom of sages and had just become part of a growing family. Thank you guys so much. I am indebted to you.

Robert & Ana really want to see their customers happy. Their prices are reasonable for the work they do. Most definitely will recommend to my friends who need a photographer.

I got my graduation photos and headshots done here. And they came out great! Rob, the photographer, is very professional yet friendly and makes the whole experience comfortable and really fun! Anna’s retouching skills are awesome. It’s rare to find a place where they do the photoshoot, retouching and printing all in one day and one place.
They even stayed after hours to help all of their clients.
Am planning to go back for family portraits ! definitely recommend this place!!!

Woohoo! As good as it gets is right! Hollywood Pro Photography Studios is by far the best experience I have had since I moved to Los Angeles. I not only got AMAZING headshots, I met AMAZING people while I was there! Robert is a very talented photographer, full of great advice and helpful tips on everything! He gave me… a person who has never modeled or taken professional pictures… the confidence to go out into the industry and do well! Anna has the ability to make the most beautiful people STUNNING! It is absolutely amazing what she can do with a computer! I came to Hollywood Pro photography only looking for headshots, but I left with breath taking pictures and new friends as well!
