I really hate to do this but i was here when they first opened and I would never step back in here. The server was very kind but the food was horrible. It tasted spoiled and it wasn’t cooked well. Three of us shared three meals, the only edible one was the fish the other plates were untouched. There are better Mediterranean restaurants in the area.

Ordered take out of hummus and yogurt dip, yogurt dip was great but the hummus tasted burnt. I had some of my friend’s rice and found it had a weird cinnamon taste. Also, my two dips only came with one order of pita bread, I had to order an extra side of bread? I don’t think I’d order again.

Great service. Great food. Way better than Darya down the street. I’m disappointed to see this place isn’t getting a lot of customers. C’mon Persians — let’s step it up!

I order from them at least 1 once a week for delivery. They have the best chicken ground kabob and chicken with bones. Their tadig crispy rice is also very good. They are fast and friendly. Glad I got the mailer to know about them since they are hidden and primarily a delivery place but they also have hooka onsight from what I hear.

We went there about a month ago on a friday for lunch. Got there around 1:30…we thought they were closed because no one was inside and when we opened the door, the girl working seemed angry that we walked in. She was very rude and when I asked to be seated in a booth(as opposed to the table she wanted us at) she looked frustrated. Just tell us you’re closed, or youre tired, or you don’t feel like serving today, and we’ll go away. It was just past peak lunch hour and the place was empty. It should have been a clue for us. Once seated, we had to ask her 3 times to bring us our drinks and the food took forever as well. I ordered beef barg and my girlfriend had salad. My food was only luke warm and the yogurt we ordered tasted spoiled. At some point I thought I was on some sort of hidden camera show and someone would walk out and bring us our real food… but nope, this was the real deal. In their defense, there was nobody in the restaurant so I could see how we could be forgotten about. Also, this place is not a typical restaurant. It looks more like a cheap banquet room and I think it might be good for hosting company lunches or gatherings for people that you hate. Seriously, the service was bad and the food was subpar. I’ve been to many persian restaurants in west LA and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe we came in on a bad day… Maybe our server was upset about something… maybe the cook forgot to tell her our food was ready… maybe they were getting ready to close up for dinner… or our experience was just an anomoly… but either way — we aren’t coming back. There are too many good persian restaurants in LA to deal with this nonsense.

This is one of the best Persian restaurants in Santa Monica! Everything is made fresh and with authentic recipes. The chicken and koobideh were so tender they literally melted in my mouth. You won’t find a nicer family run restaurant anywhere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent food for good prices. I got the beef koobideh entrée, which comes with two kabobs, to go for $ 10.95. It is $ 13.95 at nearby Javan. I was not sure if the quality of the food would match Javan’s, but luckily it does. I want to try the lamb shank next. The people there are nice. Parking is a little confusing. There is a sign for Jooji in a small parking lot to the side, but then there is another sign marked private property. I parked in a non-reserved spot. There is also street parking on the same street, with restrictions between 12 — 3 pm on Thursday and Friday. I love basmati rice and the freshness of Persian food. Go check this place out!

From the service, to the food, to the hooka… everything was impeccable and my kabob craving was definitely satisfied with my meal there. So happy I found this restaurant!

This place recently opened and I decided to try it out… delicious! We got the koobideh(YUM!) and tried some of the appetizers. The staff here is super friendly and very attentive. The pricing is also great(especially for amount of food you get). This will definitely be a «go to» spot moving forward.
