I love this place. It’s a ‘hole in the wall’ but the pupusas are authentic, fresh and delicious! You can watch them make them right in front of you. The place is a pupusa factory that’s sells to restaurants but they have a dining area if you want to eat here. Lunch specials are Monday through thursday and you get 2 pupusas a can of soda and a coleslaw salad.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the curtido and salsa de tomate actually had some flavor. Aside from that, the pupusas were paper thin with hardly any filling inside them. If the review was just based on the pupusas, it would be a 1 star review. Those of you that consider yourselves pupusa aficionados know how hard it is to find a pupuseria that makes great tasting curtido or salsa de tomate, let alone a great pupusa.

Love the pupusas here. Have been coming here for over 8 years and it still has the same great taste. They close pretty early but the food is definitely worth it.

Some previous reviews mentioned this place being a ‘dump’ and so forth. I myself find the interior to be incredible and the pupusas everything they should be, hand made to order, cheap and delicious. If you’re looking for Pier One décor and whatever music Starbucks is selling this week, head elsewhere – far away from me, preferably.

Good pupusas. Just get them to go. The place is a bit of a dump and aesthetically not clean or pleasing and can let down the appetite. Also, when ordering a soda, make sure your can is clean. Mine had lots of dust and some gunk on the rim of the can.

This is really simple but very good place. All they serve are pupusas compared to other places that will have tamales and other special plates. The pupusas are really good and not too greasy. They are NOT shy with the stuffings! I did notice it was a little too salty but not enough to stop scarfing them down lol The curtido wasn’t spicy so that’s good. The salsa was a little especially the more you ate but I couldn’t help adding more to my plate! They have pineapple juice that’s really yummy!

I remember getting pupusas here back when I was in high school. we would gather around after church on Sundays and do ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to see who’d go walk down 2 blocks to buy them. Their pupusas are $ 1.50 + tax all day, everyday. they have chicharron, queso, queso con frijoles, revueltas, frijoles, and queso con loroco. They sell beer too :] They are closed on Mondays. you have to street park. plenty of tables. We had: — chicharron — hmm. didn’t like this one much — queso con frijoles — liked these a LITTLE better than the chicharron one — queso — these were the best out of the 3 :]

Mmmmm pupusas!!! Cheap, good tasty. Cheese one was pretty good, but the chicharron was YUM. Not quite what I was used to– I’m used to my chicharron being more crunchy– but wow, this hit the spot.

I guess I’m a little biased because I literally grew up across the street, but I can NEVER find pupusas that I like as much as these. And you can’t get any cheaper than what they’re selling them for.

My coworker was raving about the pupusas here but to me it was just ok. I’ve had better before.

Good little hole-in-the-wall for pupusas! The cheese and pork pupusa was delicious. Wasn’t too crazy about the simple bean and cheese one. I did take out but you can see them being freshly made by the two ladies working there. Wish they had more of a variety.
